Feuer Zug Posted August 7, 2023 Posted August 7, 2023 (edited) In the golden days of aviation, records fell with regularity as technology improved. The Granville Brothers built a number of one-off aircraft in pursuit of these records. The Gee Bee Model Z Super Sportster is one such aircraft. This aircraft was built in 1931 and won the Thompson Trophy in the same year. A replica was used in the 90's movie "The Rocketeer". Kivi Posted August 9, 2023 Posted August 9, 2023 Very cute creation. The runway is equally nice, with clever use of new road plates. Quote

The real aircraft is just as small and cute. The new road plates work well as runway sections. I've used them for other MOCs too. Very versatile. Quote
