Does anyone have any educated guesses about whether or not we will get another reimagining of a classic set this year?  Could we get a large set like the Galaxy Explorer or a smaller GWP set like the Blacktron Cruiser?  The chances are that if we end up getting a set like this it would probably have to be much later this year because I would have heard of some leaks by now.  Given that Lego is publicly celebrating their 60th anniversary of space, I would think that they would want to add a reimagining of a vintage space set for this year like they did in the last two years.

Well, we will have two licensed big spacecraft sets - one rapper’s black spaceship and one Artemis I. There wont’ be another big set that is based off Classic Space like Galaxy Explorer, sadly.

As for GWP, that’s little hard to guess… we only know three GWP sets - Alien Habitant, Alien Pack and Space Diner.

The first two Sets you mention are no GWPs but will be for sale for 14,99€, though. So far the Diner is the only GWP we know of.

No and both wouldn´t really be sets I would be interested in as GWPs.

If they are not GWP or set, what are they exactly?  Battle pack?

The technical term for that overall category of sets not tied to a particular theme is "extended line"—which also includes things like smaller seasonal sets, small sets like the "postcard" series of sets, and some of the smaller non-18+ botanicals. In this case they're things designed to sort of complement the other space sets without actually being part of the City theme.

Oh Alien Pack and Alien Habitants are not GWP after all? Nice,

They're listed on Lego.com already if you want to look.

How would you know that we are not getting another reimagined spaceship?  Do we already have all of leaks for all the large Lego sets?  You're probably right.  I just think a big set like the Galaxy Explorer is missing for the 60th anniversary of Space.  I was hoping we would have reimaginings of vintage set this year as we did for the last two years.

I can say with certainty that the Space Diner definitely won't be a reimagined version of a vintage set like the Blacktron Cruiser.

How is this the 60th anniversary of "Space"?

Space theme started in 1978. so 60 years would be 2038 and 50 would be 2028.

The first Lego Space set was in 1964.  Lego is publicly celebrating their 60th anniversary this year.

Lego's first space set was a rocket that was released in 1964.  This year Lego is publicly celebrating 60 years of space.  I'm surprised that they are not doing a reimagining of a former set like they did with the Galaxy Explorer in 2022 or the Blacktron Cruiser last year

I'm hoping  a re-imagined set has not been  leak yet. Maybe a late '24 release.

Edit I did not mean a reimagined of this 1964 set.

Right, but you've referred to the anniversary of "Space" (capital S), which most people here and at Lego (I suspect) would associate with the Space theme started in 1978.  I find it very hard to believe Lego attaches much if any significance to that set from 1964.  The picture you posted shows that you can "Build this 'Space Rocket' and your own toy ideas!"  So, it does not appear to be a space rocket set as much as a suggestion of what you can make with the bricks in the set.

Lego celebrates 60 years of Space with the first set being in 1964 and not 1978.  They still find Classic Space to be more important because they already released the Galaxy Explorer recently.  There's also a lot of references to Classic Space.  It's possible that they can have a miniature version of this rocket.  Recently they released a tiny version of some Duplo trains from the 1980s.

I haven't seen any references to this year's cross-theme Space push being any sort of 60th-anniversary thing. It may be 60 years since that rocket was released, but you're making up the anniversary celebrations. Show me one reputable post or article that makes that connection.

I actually can't find anything.  I'm wrong about them being public about it.  However, Lego is doing a lot of space sets this year with Technic, Friends, City, etc.  I asked someone why it was, and he said it was because of the 60th anniversary of Lego space sets.  It is very unusually more space themed than previous years.  We even have a minifigure set this year that has all space figures.

Who did you ask and why would they know?

I guess in my case this was a Mandela effect.  I asked this person on Facebook, and I think it was an educated guess.  I will say that there is an unusual larger number of space sets this year.  City, Technic, Dreamz, Friends, Mini-figures, Duplo, etc. all have space sets this year.  I believe this was conscious decision to make an unusual number of space sets.  I haven't seen Lego post anything about 60 years of space, but it's possible that they are releasing a lot of space sets this year for their 60th anniversary.

Yes, it was obviously a conscious decision to make an unusual number of space sets this year.

No, they haven't given an official reason for it.

A better guess would be that the Artemis 2 mission was intended to launch in 2024 before it got delayed to 2025, and there's a great big Artemis 1 rocket set coming next month. Even that guess is still speculation.

I think even beyond those reasons listed by @icm there is the fact that "space" is a crosscutting "theme" this year, which I don't believe Lego has done in the past.  The space theme this year may have more to do with Lego trying a new marketing strategy of a crosscutting theme across several lines (City, Friends, Technic, Duplo) than anything else.  But that's also a guess.

Here's another guess.  Sales of 10497 Galaxy Explorer were very strong and Lego decided it was time to try a "reboot" of a Space line.
