I was hoping that it would be around that price point, since those kind of sets usually are more aimed for kids and come with smaller RRP. For a 200-250$ Range it would also be to small IMO.

That one was clearly included to appeal adults, yeah. Still I think the set as such is more kid-oriented. I actually was afraid they could limit it to certain themes only, which they thankfully didn´t.

I was not, since I am not sure what themes it would be limited to (maybe City, Technic, Friends, and Dreamzzz, like the polybags are?).

I guess some will, though not me.  Not worth $100 in other Lego to get the orange torso and helmet for my interest. I'd rather get double Insider points and/or a GWP that is more interesting.  I've got one orange astronaut from a DK book.  Can't say I need more.  We'll see if the parts show up on PAB, including oxygen tanks.  If so, I'll put in a PAB order along with other parts I need.  I can only guess the interest in this GWP will be way below the Micro Rocket Launch set back in February.  It will be interesting to see if they run out of these or they last the whole two weeks.

The Airtanks are still avaiable on Pick a Brick (they were used for the city underwater theme) but I don´t have much hope for the torso, unless it would be included elsewhere since it would be very rare that a GWP-Minifigure shows up in Pick a Brick (the blacktron pilot actually is the only one I remember)

The threshold is pretty low but it’s not worthy for me to spend money to get that lame GWP. 

However, ornge spaceman is realy nice. It’s all i care about.

Couldn't stop myself to wait until the Santa Claus discounts this Fall, and purchased the 60430 Interstellar Spaceship. I immediately fell in love with the color of the cockpit canopy. It contrasts so well with the white dorsal fuselage parts, and the (mostly black) ventral side of the craft complement well. Seen from the ventral side, it reminds me of a F35 jet in flight with the engine parts in the open position.
Maybe it needs a couple parts around the inner sides of the air intakes, and battery press mechanism, feels a bit empty now in that area. And landing gear.

Although i agree with you on lack of landing gears, i do not tink it’s a “main” problem from that set. 

Also I think cockpit needs some space so pilot could sit upright rather than laying down and not looking at screen in front of her.  But I still love that set anyways.

I am honestly fine with it not having landing gear, given how sleek the ship is; anything other than small skis would make the underside messy and throw off the sleek profile. Also, since the team clearly has antigrav technology, maybe the ship just hovers instead of actually landing?

The spaceship also fits perfectly onto the start ramp of the base set, where it really stands out, thanks to that sleekness. The transport that actually belongs to the base on the other hand is so bulky, that it looks better laying on the shelf.

Interesting lore bits that I noticed: 
 - Wanda About is streaming from the space station, so this actually seems to take place in the present day (or close to it). 
 - Marc and Jane’s destination is called “Planet X”, which suggests that they are still in our solar system (and the transport shuttle that they use does not seem to have FTL capabilities). 
 - The crew has access to the purple batteries before discovering that the alien crystals can be used as a power source - But since Severin knows about the crystals and since the robots are already on Planet X before Jane and Marc arrive, I assume that the researchers had already scouted the planet (especially since Jane and Marc were sent to start building a permanent base). 
 - I am wondering if there is some kind of psychic aspect to Planet X. Jane and Marc are able to see the crystals and plant life only when they are in a relaxed and playful state of mind; when they panic and are actively looking for the crystals, they cannot find any until they are guided by the blob aliens (who are surprised by this). Also, Marc’s “repurposed golf club” gag lends credence to the idea that there is some aspect of imagination to Planet X.

anyways, i have a hover bike polybag. Something bothers me about it. Anyone knows what is that 1x2 tile with hollowed stud (with 1x1 round Stu with shelf hole on it) right behind the pilot’s sitting position. I an’t figure what it is for?

Back in 2021, there was a Pillars of Creation window display in some LEGO stores, which included a LEGO Art version of it that I always liked. Does anyone know if instructions were ever released for this? Google isn't helping bring up anything at all about it, so I assume not, but this is the place to ask if there is anything out there.

Just saw a discussion on BrickFanatics Instagram about the design notes of the Space CMF figures. The robot butler stood out to me; “We could have given him an evil agenda, but no, his agenda is just to whip cream the best way possible,”

So now I’m picturing a scene in which someone’s defending a spaceship from pirates and; “Cream-O-Tron! Whip his cream!” “I WILL NOW WHIP YOUR CREAM,” “AAAAAAAAAAARGH!”

 I don’t know if this is already discussed but do you  know when Space City sets will be retired? I could not remember what is the name of webiste that list sets will be retired and I saw someone mentioned that Space City will be retired by end of this year. Is that true?
