City sets usually retire after a year to make place for the next wave.

That said, other retailers can still have 'm for sale until their stock is exhausted.

Does anyone think that we'll get the mini rocket set again?  I was never able to get around to it and now it's $65 or $70 on Ebay.

I also see that we'll be getting the Icons set 10350 in December.  Does anyone know what it could be?  I'm hoping it will be a space set, but I have no idea what it could be.

I've seen speculation it might be an early release of the annual modular again.

I doubt Lego will be having the Micro Rocket Launchpad again.  Clearly they did not make many sets, since they were gone during the Insiders only GWP weekend and never made it to the general public.

I don’t think so? I mean white space baby only shows up on PAB (minus the airtank+head piece) but it doesn’t mean that mini launcher GWP will be released again.

Just like Blacktron Cruiser GWP last year or so. They didn’t release that GWP again while Blacktron minifigure part showed up on PAB. Blacktron Cruiser is crazy expensive on .

The best thing I can say for it is that the "exhaust trail" of the spaceship could be repurposed as a giant leaning cactus in a landscape build of an alien world. I appreciate the drum-lacquered gold Lightyear windscreen, but the spaceship is otherwise quite simplistic in concept and execution: it's a small, simple airplane built all in black, with a nose borrowed from the 2021 Creator 3-in-1 space shuttle. At least it includes three sets of airplane wheels. I always appreciate it when sets include landing gear, and I'm always disappointed when they don't.  I might be interested in buying the spaceship separately, but I'd been hoping it would be interesting enough and large enough to pay maybe $50 for as its own build. Instead, I think I'd pay maybe $20 just for the spaceship.

Wow, can't imagine they'll sell many of these, especially at US $110.  In my book it does not "count" as a "space" set.  Certainly is a Pharrell Williams set, but it will be interesting how many of his fans want a Lego set like this.  I'm always in favor of Lego animation.  We'll see if his bio is interesting enough to make a good Lego animated film.

Not really a fan. The ship itself is too small and looks too much like a generic space shuttle, though the gold (not sure if pearl gold or metallic (drum-lacquered) gold; it seems to be the same colour as the visors, but the visors are pearl gold) canopy is really nice. The PDG recolour of the City space helmet is good as well, and the spacesuits look interesting (PDG, but with red/blue hose connectors and a gold logo (not the CS logo, though)). I recognise a number of the heads on the tzompantli, so the new ones are likely not IP-locked.
Hopefully the canopy and Minifig parts will end up on PAB, since that is all I see here that I want. 🫤

I might pick one up for half of that, but not more! I feel like this will end up discounted and warming shelves (unless the movie is an insane success), so even if the pieces do not end up on PAB, they should be fairly cheap on BrickLink.

It's just so dull.

It's clever how they've created a stable enough base for something that looks so thin, tall, and angled. But otherwise, really dull. It looks like a $60 set to me, which means even at 50% off RRP it will still feel too expensive. Similar for the BTS set. I recognize it was reflecting the original media, but I didn't like the style and so even at 40% off, I wasn't tempted by it as the parts weren't interesting enough. What a shame.

Why? If they instead made a new version of the Blacktron Renegade it would at least have people that would buy it. Nobody will buy sets like this one and the heads looks like the FBI most wanted list.

I am not impressed with it... not in the slightest.

Welcome to the club.  Last Janurary I was speculating that it could be Blacktron 1 or 2.  To my surprise, the spaceship looks close in size to the Blacktron Cruiser.

The set would not be great either way, but having been reported almost a year ago as a “black spaceship” really hurt the its eventual reception!

I agree.  I would not buy this set if it was for $60.  Maybe $30.  It actually looks like it's the same size as the Blacktron Cruiser.  You can probably do more with the Blacktron Cruiser.

More like $20, since it seems to be the same size as the City Space interstellar spaceship!

I agree.  I was speculating on whether it would be the Blacktron 2 Aerial Intruder or the Blacktron Renegade because of the description of being a 'black spaceship with two mini-figures'.  I am very disappointed.

It looks like it is close in size to the Blacktron Cruiser.  The original description of this being a 'large black ship' is wrong.  Maybe it will look larger with that colorful stand that they put it on.  Can you believe that this spaceship is more expensive than the Galaxy Explorer?  With the Galaxy Explorer you had like 1,200 pieces and you can do a whole lot more with it.

Excellent point.  Maybe this is a licensed set, thereby raising the price?

Is it sae to say that they mistreats Space fans with this expsnive, small, dull black spaceship? I mean, sure, we got Galaxy Explorer in 2022 and we got decent wave of “Year of Space”. But I don’t feel that Pharrell Williams set comes with a big bang…
