Here is my submission for Category A of the contest! I'm unsure of which time zone the deadline was under but hopefully I'm not too late!

For my build, I decided to do a redux of one of my favorite sets as a kid; The Temple of Mount Everest! For the story, we find Johnny Thunder and his friend Sherpa racing Sam Sinister to the Temple of Mount Everest where a golden sword is rumored to be guarded. This build is a snap shot of action where Johnny and Sherpa have been separated by a bombing from Sinister's biplane. Will Johnny and Sherpa be able to help the temple guard in protecting the golden sword, or will Sam Sinister add a new relic to his collection?

Let me know if there is any issue viewing the photos, this contest is my first time showing my work here!

I think this is one of the best remakes of the Temple of Mount Everest I have seen so far. I love the effect with the explosion and the rope bridge being destroyed; "action" effects are really hard to do. I also really like your landscaping with the mountain, and the temple itself, especially how you have the temple leaning. The biplane is also a solid design, good enough to have been an entry in Category C if it was the only thing you built.

I have to tell you, though: You should have posted more pictures in this thread, not just the scale picture. Your "main" picture should have been the first. The scale picture does not give people a good impression of your amazing MOC. Always put your best foot forward.

Thank you for the kind words! I was having a bit of trouble using the site when I was uploading the pics and had thought that the first selected pic would be the first displayed and so on (like most other sites) but it turned out to be the exact opposite and so my worst pic that was just showing dimension ended up being the first. If anything I’m glad that at least one person or a few people got to see it and enjoy what I built!

Yes, the photo situation is a bit unlucky because the temple looks actually really good! I like the decorations and especially the cupola at the top uses a nice technique with those bar handle clip thingy (don't know the proper name :pir_laugh2:) Also the solution you found for the prayer flags looks great. And of course there is a lot of action in the scene with the plane and explosion and destroyed bridge. Well done!
