I was playing around with a Joker minifigure and some hair, and I noticed that the new Anakin hair (painted green, of course), would make a fine hair for a Joker minifigure from the new Dark Knight.

Of course, this is still a WIP... obviously the face and torso don't totally match up with the DK version... I'm hoping that someone will tackle some decals... Needs a trenchcoat, too. A very scary, purple one!

(This is why I need another anakin hair: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?...mp;#entry329086 )

Thoughts, Suggestions? Thanks.

Awesome, but the Joker's hair in the movie is shorter and more greasy and wispy... but there really isnt a better hairpiece for it. :classic: Can't wait to see the completed fig.

A little less wavy in the front, but it's long enough in the back. And yes, as JB said, greasy.

A better head is necessary as well as the torso. I think this Joker was based on the second Batman movie; one of the goofy ones. :hmpf:

Also, if you take that torso, I think you can make Heath's Joker when he's in the cell in the waistcoat.

Thanks for the feedback! :classic:

Progress: Some people on flickr suggested using Mutt's hair. I disagree, though I took a comparison shot anyway:

Oh, and I personally love the dark blue gloves!

I was going to comment on this earlier, but didnt for some reason. This indeed is very nice, I dont know why didn't originally base the figures in the tumble set on the Dark Knight, as thats where the vehicle is from. Once you get that Anakin hair green it will be even better. Even some streaks of green, because if i remember correctly, thats how he looks from what I've seen.

Polywen on flickr was nice enough to touch-up the hair in photoshop, so it looks green; so I'd know what it looks like before I go ahead and paint anything:

...like me!

Still a WIP, mind you.

Looks good! Definitely use Anakin's, Mutt's doesn't work at all. The decal is alright, but the mouth needs to be eviler (more evil?).

Freaky green hair, ON!!

Looks pretty good, and yeah the Anakin hair is probably the closest you can get to emulating the hair. Can't wait to see the finished version. Only suggestion would be to perhaps fix up the decal a bit, it doesn't look very humany to me atm. Kinda hard to explain...

Actually, probably because of the lighting. I mean, the hair is a darkish brownish green, so that's probably why it looks brown in some instances.

Actually, before you pain, I just watched the TDK trailer, and it showed the interrogation scene. The Joker appeared to have brown hair.

Well, look at his messed up makeup. He's been imprisoned for some time now and hasn't had a chance to improve it since he was at large.

Did the Joker have blue/purple hands/gloves? I'm not a Batman fan, but I recall one scene in the Dark Knight trailer potraying him with normal skinned coloured hands.

Looking good! I just saw The Dark Knight, and it is really accurate. Good thing you took the gun away,

because he never uses one.

I'd love to see the green vest decal soon! :sweet:

Great work with the painting and the trenchcoat! If you're still looking for decals, I just made a couple.

I'm probably gonna steal your green Anakin hair idea when I make mine.

And sorry to nitpick, JimButcher, but

the Joker uses guns throughout the film: during the robbery at the beginning, several times during the car chase, and at the hospital

.
