JimBee Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 Great work with the painting and the trenchcoat! If you're still looking for decals, I just made a couple.I'm probably gonna steal your green Anakin hair idea when I make mine. And sorry to nitpick, JimButcher, but the Joker uses guns throughout the film: during the robbery at the beginning, several times during the car chase, and at the hospital . Yes, but he says he likes to use knives because they give him more enjoyment, remember? Personally, a knife describes his character better. Plus, remember when he was captured, and the cops found all of those blades hidden on him? Nice work, SirNadroj (and your friends who made the trench/ decal). Somehow, though, the decal doesn't really look like the Joker, but does have that LEGO feel to it. Quote
tin7_creations Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 Here's a teaser ~ stay tuned for more! (waterslide face decal by Vidgamer838!) I suggest using Unknown Artist's trenchcoat. The sleeves should be wide enough to hide a small knife. The Joker needs to use his knives. Quote
Norrington Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 That looks great. The decal could be better. Just like all faces in the Indiana Jones theme, it looks like his face is based off the Bruce Whane face. I'd for something more detailed like stain boy's. It has the worn makeup, and honestly, also has the vest. Quote
SirNadroj Posted July 30, 2008 Author Posted July 30, 2008 Joker v.1 is finished ~ coat my MMCB and decals by vidgamer838! And a bonus: Tonight's Entertainment (aka Joker's Thugs. ) Thanks. Quote
Stainboy Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 Those look great! You should post a shot of them all together! Quote
tin7_creations Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 It's really good. But I suggest a change of the face decal... it doesn't look "fearsome" enough. Quote
Derek Posted July 31, 2008 Posted July 31, 2008 (edited) Wow! Amazing, and that doesn't even describe it! However, if you are planning on improving it, I suggest maybe doing some of the black paint around the eyes, and maybe try doing the stiches on sides of his mouth. VERY good! darthperson (ps: I love how you change your avatar almost daily! ) Edited July 31, 2008 by darthperson Quote
Tyren Posted July 31, 2008 Posted July 31, 2008 Oh my gosh that looks so totally awesome . Great job. And yeah, I think the face decal could use a little tweaking but I still think the decals are the best I've seen of Dark Knight. So good job SirNadroj and Vidgamer. Quote
optimus-convoy Posted July 31, 2008 Posted July 31, 2008 Looks great so far. Though the face decal seems to lack something. Maybe the first one would work a bit better? The hair, trench coat and torso came out really well though. Quote
The Joker Posted July 31, 2008 Posted July 31, 2008 That is one sweet DK Joker Sir Nadroj! Only the face needs a bit of improvement. Otherwise, a awesome Joker. Quote
SirNadroj Posted August 2, 2008 Author Posted August 2, 2008 Here's the V.1 Joker again ~ I had a custom purple trench made for him by the amazing Unknown-Artist! (Decals by Vidgamer838) Quote
Axel Posted August 3, 2008 Posted August 3, 2008 Hmmm... I still prefer the one with mmcb's trenchcoat. The new one looks too wide. Quote
tin7_creations Posted August 3, 2008 Posted August 3, 2008 i actually like the unknown artist trenchcoat more. i was wondering though, would they be able to make it with the inside being orange and the outside being purple? Quote
Johnny 5 Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 i actually like the unknown artist trenchcoat more. i was wondering though, would they be able to make it with the inside being orange and the outside being purple? Defiantly some color on the inside of the coat would add immensely to it, also maybe a bit more black around the eyes to make the eyes pop a bit more, all in all though I think you've done a fantastic job here. Makes me want to go see it for the sixth time. Quote
