Posted August 23, 20231 yr Hello fellow plastic lovers... For one of my first times in 40 years of building Lego, I am finding myself stumped an instruction step that I can't solve/understand what is intended. On step 380 of the 42125 Instructions, you have to install two white flags to a 3l black bar: The first issue I saw was that the bars in my set were 4l, but this was not a major issue. However I very quickly realised that the flags would not attach to the bar fully as they interfered with the thin liftarms: Looking at other reference material (RacingBricks build review for example) I can see that I am not alone with issues here (The statistics on that video show a lot of people looking at that particular step). However I have been unable to find any posts referencing this issue which makes me think am I the wrong one here, and do I need to hang up my building hat??? Appreciate your input! Ian...
August 23, 20231 yr There are two types of the white flag with different clips, perhaps this ist the reason?
August 23, 20231 yr Author That would seem to be the case unfortunately. Ah well Lego, your 100% part record with myself is no more, but at least I get to keep my building hat! Thank you both for your input, and to Bricklink I go! (Lets face it, it is a blatant excuse for me to go to buy more Lego! >< ) Ian...

October 5, 20231 yr I had the same issue as well but I was using the PDF instructions in the LEGO builder app. The digital instructions showed the assembly with the 3L bars for me as well. But then I checked the actual paper instructions that came with the set and saw what appeared to be an updated version of the assembly with the flags attaching better.
