Crazydance Posted August 5, 2008 Posted August 5, 2008 Gimme that wind mill! hell i'll order the parts seperately if it doesn't come out, maybe TLG looks into the heads of their respected fan-base and doesn't let us down. Better yet contact a few energy suppliers if they want a spot on the stickersheet, so you can choose... Or even let it be vestas exclusive, i dont't cate, i just want it for my collection! in other words, put me on the list! and check lowlug (our friends in holland), they've got a parralel topic to this one. So you can write down even more names! Quote

metalandi Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 I'll purchase it even if it not comes out. There MUST be a way..i NEED this set! Quote
Crazydance Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 Anyone wanna help with an online petition for this? I can make a quick fix for it in PHP. maybe send that petition to other forums on the net. Seeing they want the set just as bad as us :) Quote
Dr. Brick Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 I'll purchase it even if it not comes out. There MUST be a way..i NEED this set! I have found a way. But if you use it, please buy one for me aswell. You can buy a share at Vestas, they cost +/- €75. I'm not sure if you can buy it then but it's worth a try. I repeat, please inform and help me if you are going to try this, I probally can't do it myself because I'm to young. Dr. Brick Quote
metalandi Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 That sounds interesting, but i don't quite get right now what you mean exactly..do you mean it is available directly at the vesta company? Quote
Crazydance Posted August 7, 2008 Posted August 7, 2008 (edited) And we have a petition! sign petition! Anyone member of other forums than lowlug and this one can post this post there too, Let's see where this goes. create awareness, change the world! Edited August 7, 2008 by Crazydance Quote
Dr. Brick Posted August 7, 2008 Posted August 7, 2008 That sounds interesting, but i don't quite get right now what you mean exactly..do you mean it is available directly at the vesta company? Well they say that customers will be able to buy it. Being a shareholder might be another way of being customer. I don't think you need to buy giant windmills. Quote

Anyone member of other forums than lowlug and this one can post this post there too, Let's see where this goes. create awareness, change the world! Thank you very much, Crazydance! I signed in, too. Now that's really everything which we could do: Emails, telephone calls, forum topics and now that petition - if it doesn't work then I really don't comprehend the world anymore. Klaus-Dieter Quote
Lord Of Pies Posted August 7, 2008 Posted August 7, 2008 I signed it as well , I am number 28. I hope this set is released for the general public, as it looks great and my Lego village will need a power source when it is finished! Quote

Klaus-Dieter Posted August 7, 2008 Author Posted August 7, 2008 Look !!! http://cgi.ebay.fr/LEGO-4999-Windrad-Vesta...idZp1638Q2em122 Nice - but who can afford to buy it for that utopian price?! Klaus-Dieter Quote
metalandi Posted August 7, 2008 Posted August 7, 2008 I wonder where the seller has got it from Quote
Kingboy Posted August 7, 2008 Posted August 7, 2008 (edited) My French isn't good enough to be able to tell you which link it is, but there's almost always an "Ask the Seller a question" link on eBay auction pages. You could use that to email them and ask where they got it... I take that back. I'm willing to bet it's the "Poser une question au vendeur" link... Edited August 7, 2008 by Kingboy Quote
metalandi Posted August 7, 2008 Posted August 7, 2008 I just figured it out, and will ask him now. Hopefully i get an answer because, well, if he telsl me where he got it from this could be bad for his profit. But let's see Quote
Justin Posted August 9, 2008 Posted August 9, 2008 I would like to see Lego release this to the general public as a Toys "R" Us exclusive, but without a trace of the "Vestas" trademark. It would be the next best thing to getting it through Vestas. It would probably sell anywhere in between $99 USD and $150 USD. That little red house in front of it looks lovely. Quote
Dr. Brick Posted August 9, 2008 Posted August 9, 2008 (edited) I signed. No. 75!!! Dr. Brick Edited August 9, 2008 by Dr. Brick Quote
