gentlmen,

After a little break to participate to the different summer contests, and i'd like to thank those who get the idea of critics contest, which makes us discuss a lot, i get back to my first love:

always pushing forward to get a realistic "legoish" grande armée, i finished my heavy cavalry.

Aye, very nice do they have a place to sling their muskets or a place for their saddle holsters if they carry pistols, correct me if I'm wrong, I don't really know the Napoleonic wars very well ;)

Grand effort there.
Are your custom parts handmade, or 3D printed? Or do they come from a third party seller, and you paint them up (splendidly I may add)?

Awww!  But you didn't use a custom minfig for your entry in the Return of the Classic Pirates Contest. :pir-bawling:

I really like the custom parts you made and painted.

Have you already voted?

You're right. With a custom minifig he would have got my vote. Of course, it can also be that he thought that it didn't fit the Classic Pirates Contest.

I didn't vote, i submited an entry. But i will for the main contest.

And if a contest on XIXe century army is setting up, be sure i'd participate.

It states in the rules that customs are acceptable... so unless he didn't read the rules...

You can still vote in both categories if you submit an entry.   You can even assign one vote to your own entry.

But what you can't do is update your vote after you've voted.

i submit a mini entry, and the main topic was pirates, i made a pirate.

I thought (maybe wrongly) that we had to be close to the old gold age of LEGO pirate.

But once again, thanks for your nice comments.

hi,

still working on the imperial grande armée,

i present you a first lieutenant of the chasseurs à pieds de la garde impériale. Let's look at the bearskin, which is slightly different than the famous one of the grenadier:

it is a little shorter, with no plate badge nor "cul de singe" ( literal translation would be monkey's megablocks, maybe to refer at the red bottom of baboons), the red plate with white grenade at the top.

hello everyone,

going always further to simplify the creation of a french imeprial army,

i managed to make new pelisses, without painting nor decals.

I'm proud to share my new chasseur à cheval of the guard, and hussar of the 1st regiment.

The blue hussar  Such a detailed minifig and wonderful colors. Love it!

Thanks, but the torso and leg designs are not mine. I think i bought it from nevabrick (uv printed).

Ok, i didn't know that it is a 3rd party minifig. But you did a great job upgrading the hussar with your custom pieces! I wish we would get such minifigs from Lego!

In fact the 1st hussar (blue) is genuine lego but uv printed.

And thanks, but you know, to military for lego policy.
