Help picking a cool set?

Hello!

I'm debating buying one of the following sets (really can't afford all of them, so picking one) and just wondering which of them have the best build/might be the most worth getting? I also do enjoy playing around with the sets from time to time, not necessarily important but it is a nice bonus I suppose. 

10273: Haunted House

10305: Lion Knight's Castle

10320: El Dorado Fortress

21058: Great Pyramid of Giza

Would love to know what folks think and appreciate your help!

The haunted house is retiring in December of this year (2023). Eldorado Fortress just released, so you can hold off on that for easily a year.

I wouldn't go for the pyramid if you enjoy playing. The others are too different in size and price, style and subject, and it is really down to personal preference.

If you plan on getting others later, that makes sense. If you really are just going to buy one of the sets, I would go with whatever you like the most. Pyramid was on my list, but there are just so many sets around and I can´t really buy everything, so that might be one of those that I won´t get - still a nice Set though. My favourity from the List is the Lion Knights Castle. There are just so many details and also playfeatures IMO.

Yeah I'm likely looking to just buy 1 and that's it. I won't rule out getting one of the others later but...super unlikely, so yeah. Im looking for a balance between play and build, build is more important to me but I'd like to have the option of having neat details or tricks in the set to sometimes keep me occupied during breaks or off days.

If you buy only one the Lion Knights Castle is by far the largest and has a lot of cool minifigs. Although the Eldorado Fortress is my favorite among these sets and if it was up to me I'd buy that one.

My vote is for the Haunted House; I really enjoyed building it, and it does have fun play features with the drop tower and light brick. Building the chain mechanism was pretty tricky but the payoff was definitely worth it.
