LEGO Ninjago 2024 Rumours and Discussion

I almost feel like Ninjago would be a waste of a CMF series, especially if they limited it to 12 figures. The Ninjago City sets have so many figures in them, that feels like a far better way to get a broad range of good characters.

I mean we would get nicer figures in a CMF but yeah I generally agree, I feel like there are not many characters we NEED a CMF in order to get really. The only one that comes to mind is maybe Dr. Julien but even if it doesn't make sense, they could always throw him in a Ninjago City set.

Dr Julien has been dead for nearly 10 years now, he’s not going to be in a ninjago city set

Hounddog McBrag appeared in a few episodes of Crystalized (and is unlikely to reappear, IMO), and Detective Zane only appeared in a single episode, yet both are in the Ninjago City Markets.

Ras is basically confirmed to be from Chima at this point; Doc Wyatt posted this. It is obviously a joke, and seems to be confirming that Ras is from the other world of anthropomorphic animals.

I know, but there’s a difference, both are alive currently (unless mcbrag died in the merge) dr julien is flat out dead, though the departed realm has merged with ninjago, so I wouldn’t rule it out, but it’s very unlikely

I doubt Dr. Julien would ever appear in a theoretical Ninjago CMF, not because he’s been dead for 10 years and irrelevant to the current story, but because he wouldn’t be a very interesting minifigure worth putting in a CMF series. The minifigure would basically look like a very typical doctor, with a common hair piece and an unremarkable faceprint. 
 

Actually, this is the reason why in general I’m not sure we’ll ever get a Ninjago CMF for the show. Most characters that haven’t been made (or variants of existing characters) are fairly unremarkable minifigure-design-wise. Even looking at fan dream designs of a series, they include such remarkable figures as “Zane with an apron” and “Cole in a prison jumpsuit” which are pretty bland even for fans of the show. 
 

I’ll admit that there are a few characters that I’d be interested in (the Upply, silver Karloff, etc) but I don’t think those opportunities are enough to warrant a full cmf series, especially as some of those desired characters haven’t been around the show for a long time. I think the best chance of getting semi-interesting ninja variants or named background/side characters is in sets like Ninjago City Markets.

Anyways, I’m kinda disappointed that we will not a third non-licensed series in 2024 (that series remains unknown) but I’m glad misunderstanding is cleared now.

Episodes 11-15 are out in english. They came from some kind of a website, but when I click on them there all I get is an error. But they have been uploaded to youtube, so you can easily watch them there.

Just saw on Instagram that apparently Sora is in the next magazine, which is bizarre as it doesn't follow the pattern for the leak a while ago, which had been right this far, and I'd where we first saw Arin, Ras and the new suits. Unless she is after Lloyd, but in the UK we are still on Arin and I thought we were only one behind not two, but i guess it is 2 as that's the only explanation that makes sense.

The same thing happend with Oni Lloyd and the Vengestone guard. In some regions you had Lloyd first and In the other The guard first.

Hope we get Nya in the next magazine. 

Really want her new suit, but I don't want the Temple set (already got half the minifigures from that one) or the 4+ one.

Hope they don't switch to the minifigs from the Winter 2024 wave before we get her.

Same here, they gave us the most prominent characters from the begining of DR. So it would make sence to have Nya in a magazine. But I feel like we are going to get a

villain next, and my guess is that it would be Rapton. The earliest month that they could give us minifigs from the winter wave would be February, since in germany both kais from the summer waves of 22 and 23 were on July. So there are at least 2 slots left .

Yeah, getting two heroes (Lloyd and Sora) in a row is already unexpected, so we'll definitely get Rapton before we get her. Bit I do really hope we get Nya.

This is a pure theory but I remembe one character in Nexo Knights series Madea a comment about “realm”. It made me wonder if that character referred real to Ninjago. Of course Nexo Knight theme was discontinued and there will never provide some information to that “realm” comment. 

Anyways… that new clip is fun!! I would love to see more realms than 17, lol.

Gonna wager the other 3 were Underworld, Realm of Madness and Cloud Kingdom (Since those 3 were tied to Ninjago's story the most)
