I also think that 

Lord Ras will not be the main villain of season 2; he either will be working for someone else again, or he is recruiting the wolf warriors as an army to serve his master. Jordana will be built up over the course of the season as the true big bad (she and Ras will likely differ in their goals), and Ras will probably abandon her once he gets what he needs and she shows herself to be disloyal (perhaps as her obsession with proving herself over Sora grows). One thing that I am curious about is how the end of S2 will differ from the ending of S1, as both could have the Ninja battling someone gone mad with power - Perhaps Jordana can be redeemed in a way that Beatrix cannot?

As do I, though I doubt that the sets will spoil this (unless Jordana has an alternate face or some accessories).

I think that Ras would be the main villain of season 2, at least kinda. His Master is definitely the big bad, but I think that we are not going to see them in action this season. Since it is said that Dragons rising is going to facus on serialization. Also I don't see Jordana in the role of the main villain, she just feels the best as just a side villain. Her set distribiution compared to Ras sugests that that's the case (with Ras being in the villain base and a big dragon, and Jordana being in 2 random ninja vehicles under 50. So with that I think that Ras would serve the role of the main villain for just this season at least. 

But I'm going to agree With you on Ras abandoning Jordana when she is no longer usful for him. Ras seems to be a type of character who would just abandon someone when their not usefull for him anymore (that literally happend with Beatrix), and I bet that the same thing would happen with Joradana.

I absolutely hope tgat Jordana won't be redeemed. Her whole personality is her rivary with Sora and being crazy because of it. redeeming her would just make her character boring, unless they would give more to her character in season 2.

I agree about Ras’s master, but I think that 

 

Ras will be the main villain of the first half of the season, and we will get more of his backstory and motivations; Jordana will start off as a secondary villain, but eclipse Ras as the season progresses.
My guess would be Ras as the villain of S2a, then Jordana gives herself powers in the midseason finale or second half premiere; then in S2b, Ras just tries to get what he needs and move on, and the conflict turns to Jordana vs. the Ninja.

Set distribution does not really mean anything, though; for Season 1, Ras and Rapton got three sets each, while Beatrix only got two. Additionally, while some of the sets are accurate (Beatrix’s mech vs. Jiro dragon), others are not (why are only Beatrix and Ras in the Temple of the Dragon Energy Cores, when the only member of Imperium to actually go there was Rapton?). Also, there are still the June sets for which we have neither descriptions nor Minifig lineups.

There needs to be something to set the end of S2 apart from the end of S1 (having the Ninja fight a crazy woman with powers twice in a row would feel repetitive), and Jordana is far more redeemable than Beatrix (Beatrix recruited Ras to help assassinate her father in Ras’s flashback, so she was clearly always evil/ambitious!). Jordana is just jealous and petty, and she has not (yet) done anything irredeemably evil.

Ras escapes with most of what he needs for his master, but the wolf faction’s overall plot is foiled with Jordana’s help; Jordana becomes at least an ally to the Ninja going forward, if not a full member of the team.

My point was that the main villains are usually in the biggest sets or villain vehicles, and not just some random ninja vehicles (the only exception that I can think of is The Bone King). But the theory of Ras only being a S1a main villain  would make the set distribiution not matter at all.

The fact that she hasn't done anything irredeemably evil might not even matter. They somehow reddemed Harumi after all what she has done. But that was crystalized , and it's hard to find a single good decision made in that season.

A head has leaked that seems to be for Ninjago - I think it may be Cinder. The assumption has been that the character will be fire-themed, but smoke would also fit the name (the Elemental Master of smoke in ToE was named Ash).

The head itself is interesting, trans black (new trans black) and smoke like. Could be Cinder but I feel like it's more likely to be a wolf warrior as the head seems similar to the one that leaked before. If it is cinder though, maybe he could be like early Ronin, where hes not a bad guy but not a good guy, and is instead off on his own, a bit like macaque from Monkie kid. Would love to see a character like that for ninjago. I guess Rapton could be classed as that but he only allied himself with the ninja for an episode for 2.

Done, though I thought that only embedded photos and links to images with watermarks were not allowed (so a link to a pic of a piece on Reddit would presumably be allowed).

We saw the wolf warrior head, though, and there was nothing smoky about it. Also, smoke-people in wolf masks feels a bit excessive in terms of characteristics; I think that it is more likely that the wolf warriors are normal Humans and that this head belongs to a named character.

Nope, we got nearly fully transparent  base minifigures with the dragon power ninja last summer.

Ahh ok. I didn’t pay attention to these ones. From last year.  But. It’s a good start to make a transparent minifigure. I’m hoping for an ice sculpture (minifigure) in City or CMF.

Transparent minifigure parts have been around for quite some time. I believe heads first appeared in the 2000s (not sure on the exact date) and have been used extensively in recent years, both for minifigures and as lanterns, fish bowls, and other items. Transparent arms and legs began in the 2010s and have appeared less frequently, but are still fairly common. As of now, hips, torsos, and hands have never appeared in any transparent color. I believe this is due in part to the differences in plastics used for these colors, which don’t allow as much mobility for pieces that come pre-assembled.

I thought transparent heads first came up in spirus way back in somewhat-classic-space? That’s not my era so I can’t say much on it.

Looks like I was way off with the transparent minifigure heads. They are a lot older than I thought, appearing as far back as the 70s, albeit as decorations. I wonder when the first usage of a transparent head in an actual minifigure was? Looks like Spyrius and Fright Knights never actually used them as heads. 
 

Anyway, this is getting off topic. But transparent minifigure heads are certainly nothing new to LEGO or Ninjago.

I think the magazine mystery will be solved soon. I got my Sora issue today, and usually the German issue seems to come out about a month before hand, so when they get the Lloyd issue, so we'll see if the December/January issue is the wolf warrior or if there is another one in-between, one last dragons rising S1 figure.

New Cole torso leaked, really loving the back torso print, the armoured futuristic design is def one of my favourite suits. Not too keen on the front tho, and it looks like he’s using solid orange legs with printing, not black. Cautiously optimistic here.

It looks very similar to Lloyd’s suit that leaked earlier - Perhaps S2 is going the route of S1 and giving all of the Ninja the same basic design for their suits? 
I am not sure that Cole will have orange legs, though, since those could just be a random part that the person with the torso stuck on; also, Lloyd has printed green legs, so given the similarities, I am not sure why Cole would have plain orange ones.

the color seperation between the legs and torso looks awful to me. It might be just because of the low quality, or that those are the wrong legs, which I think could easily be the case since there is no way that Lloyd has printing on the legs and cole doesn't.
