rebelpilot Posted August 23, 2024 Posted August 23, 2024 I saw this on rebrickable the other day: There's not much information other than it's numbered 6527186 and: Quote Available as a "Make & Take" promotion at Lego Brand Stores on August 7 & 14, 2024. Available as a "Make & Take" promotion at Lego Brand Stores in France on August 10 & 11, 2024. So it appears it's a make and take free set available at select locations. As the dates have already passed this information is not going to help anyone but the there is an inventory and maybe the instructions will show up one day. It's a pretty good minifigure for a child to get for free. Quote
Lion King Posted August 23, 2024 Posted August 23, 2024 Ohhhh the awakening characters look good! It’s about time to get them in our hands! PJ Nova and Jayden are not new - they already exist in the sets. I already have them. Quote

Lion King Posted August 23, 2024 Posted August 23, 2024 I don’t know if Zero meant to be a typo for Zoey? You know, Never Witch’s name with “never”. So it’s zero representing for nothingness? But I could see bunch of typos there. Quote
hrdknxbrix Posted August 24, 2024 Posted August 24, 2024 Is it just me or does the BAM Cooper torso in that pic have arms of different colors? Quote

karrit Posted August 24, 2024 Posted August 24, 2024 (edited) I see different colors too. I hope it's just the lighting because if the arms are two different colors I won't get the torso. I don't care for mismatched arms or legs on my minifigs with the exception of the peg leg pirate legs. But they really need to make a version with the peg leg on the opposite side. I did get a couple of the space alien torso with the two different arms but it bothers me. Edited August 24, 2024 by karrit Quote
Lemerbrix Posted August 24, 2024 Posted August 24, 2024 I’m sorry, but that generic child head does not work for izzie! Quote

Like the cat being next to Zoey just feels so wrong to me, at least the set looks cool, both versions. Quote
Lion King Posted September 6, 2024 Posted September 6, 2024 I’mnot sure if BAM can be shipped over to me since there are lego stores too far from me. I went shopping online and snapped four minifigures - Mateo, Lizzie, Zoey and mr. Oz - off eBay. I skipped cooper, nova and Jayden becuase i already have them from sets. I can’t wait to add them to my modular city - i added jack and Parker from hidden side to my city, along with Monkie kid. Quote
Takanuinuva Posted September 6, 2024 Posted September 6, 2024 Dreamzzz Season 2 part 2 Spoiler I have a sneaking suspicion Miss Castillo is actually Lunia. As why else would she have that orb of confusion with her? And the fact she seems to be an aware dreamer like the rest of the main cast. Curious if we get a Season 3. Who will be the big bad. Possibility of Dizzy. Or maybe the Nightmare King being freed of being a Guardian. Quote
rebelpilot Posted September 8, 2024 Posted September 8, 2024 (edited) Following up on the Dreamzzz 'make & take', I saw these posts on reddit: .The OP seems to be U.K based. rebelpilot Posted September 8, 2024 Posted September 8, 2024 (edited) BrickByMind has the new Dreamzzz and Halloween BAM figures for a better look. I noticed he has Izzie with this head which while not unique is more appropriate than what was posted earlier in the thread. @cacacolito also updated their instagram with complete configurations and used the same head. On 8/23/2024 at 8:25 PM, Classic_Spaceman said: Zoey should have the dark blue legs (I knew they felt familiar!), while Oz should get sand blue. Amusingly, BricksByMind had the same issue. At least we can see what both configurations look like. Edited September 8, 2024 by rebelpilot Quote
rebelpilot Posted September 9, 2024 Posted September 9, 2024 (edited) I just wanted to update on the BAM figures since I've now been to my local certified store in Australia and purchased the parts I wanted. My experience with the parts available and the character configurations are as follows: I noticed that this head was in abundance and used for Izzie, which differs slightly to the one posted above and in the video. It has a sleeping face on the opposite side so I feel it is more appropriate for Izzie and fits better with the other sleeping characters apart from Zoey. It's been used many times before so it's not unique to Izzie but I think it's a very close match. Just one of those regional differences. On 9/8/2024 at 11:42 AM, rebelpilot said: It's hard to tell the differences on the awake face but the freckles position is different and the top example has little concave parts on the bottom part of the eye. jaysbrickblog also uses the same head (because it is also sourced from an Australian store) and from what I can tell the below picture (minus Jayden) and those featured on lego_bam are the 'official' suggested builds. Lemerbrix Posted September 21, 2024 Posted September 21, 2024 So, pics of series 27 leaked, and it looks like one of the figs uses a recolor of the hidden side hat/hair combo, I think this could hint that waking world Logan could be coming soon! Quote

Lyichir Posted October 5, 2024 Posted October 5, 2024 (edited) Finished catching up on the Dreamzzz and Ninjago shows while I built a Monkie Kid set today. What I liked about the season: Spoiler As "convenient" an ending as it was, I really appreciated the reconciliation with the Never Witch. I'm a sucker for endings where baddies don't have to be destroyed/defeated for a victory, and having Zoey as the emotional core of the season as a whole be the one to get through to her worked in my opinion. Zoey's arc in general throughout the season was incredibly satisfying. Again, reconciling with her father felt incredibly satisfying. The backstory for the theme still hits incredibly hard. The flashbacks to Oz's youth were great, as were the flashbacks/memories of the Never Witch. I love how the final battle established the Never Witch as an archetypal dream that all other witches in fiction/mythology were drawn from—I love that kind of mythmaking that weaves new characters into traditional stories. What I didn't like/liked less: Spoiler Sidelining Izzie for most of the season (at first from taking away her memories, then by trapping her in a Doom Dome with Logan) was a choice I wasn't fond of. She's one of my favorite characters so The relationship between Logan and Astrid still feels forced to me (though that may just be me being salty because I felt like Logan had good chemistry with Cooper in season one). Overall the animation quality and action choreography still leaves something to be desired compared to themes like Ninjago and Monkie Kid. Edited October 5, 2024 by Lyichir Quote

I am more curious about the gaming stuff…. That’s what i think about Zero and Buhurro - it’s implied that they could bee new charter. Bus hurry doesn’t sound like “villian-y” to me Quote
ToaDraco Posted October 15, 2024 Posted October 15, 2024 (edited) I'm surprised nobody here is talking about the Cooper's flying video game controller polybag. Apparently the previous report about it being a $20 set must have been wrong. It's a really nice polybag with a new figure of Cooper, a small enemy that might be part of the new villain's army, and most interestingly, new boost effect pieces that look much more usefull than the one introduced in season 1. RichardGoring Posted October 15, 2024 Posted October 15, 2024 It's a neat little set and looks great for a polybag. Quote

The polybag is specifically called "Cooper's Flying Video Game Controller Mini Build" so I reckon there's a good chance that the $20 set also exists as a separate (larger) set. In any case, I like the aesthetic, which is very cool and makes me interested in a gaming-focused wave/story arc. Quote
Fenghuang0296 Posted October 16, 2024 Posted October 16, 2024 The ‘flying controller’ itself is meh, but I’m intrigued by the ‘villain’, a little spider drone thing? Is that implying that this ‘Zero’ is the new main villain and is some kind of rogue sci-fi entity? Quote

I feel like Zero is more like a video game-focused villian since we have bunch of “gaming” words throughout the next wave. A cyber entity after all? It would be interesting to see what a new villian looks like. Quote
FinlayTheFaithful Posted October 18, 2024 Posted October 18, 2024 As much as I'm going to miss the villains from the first 3 waves, I'm glad they're going to introduce a new faction that could spice things up and possibly change the story up Quote
ToaDraco Posted October 20, 2024 Posted October 20, 2024 (edited) I finally finished Dreamzzz season 2 and wow, it's so much better than the first season. Hopefully they can even further improve in season 3. They did a great job with character development for many of the characters and I appreciate how cohesive it all felt versus the first season that seemed a bit jumbled at times before ending abruptly. This time, we had a satisfying ending that nicely concludes the story archs that took place over the season. I think my only main complaint is that the Beast Realm stuff at the end was a bit rushed and I was disappointed that Logan didn't get to use his Pandamonium(I love that name by the way) form against the Neverwitch, nor did we get to see Astrid react to it. I'm sure we'll see it plenty next season though, since it's his most powerful form(for now). Speaking of which, Logan and Astrid's romance subplot is not one I expected going into this season, but man was it one of the biggest highlights for me. Logan ended last season as my least favorite character but by the end of season 2, has become my favorite. So much of that has to do with his character development this season and his relationship with Astrid. I'm also a big fan of monsters and characters that turn into monsters so his "beastcrafting" is very cool to me and I look forward to seeing where they go with it next season. I doubt they'll go full Beast Boy with it, but I'm sure he'll get at least one more new form. On a side note, I appreciated how this season was able to better incorporate the sets and their alternate builds into the show itself and also how the sets from the first wave weren't completely dropped in favor of the season 2 sets like typically happens with toy tie-in media. Also, I think the only major thing from the show that we didn't get a set of is Mr. Oz's landing. However, I'm sure it will be a recurring location next season and I could see it being the next big location-based Dreamzzz set next year, similar to Castle Nocturnia and the Sandman's Tower. One last thing I have to shout out is how much I love that Zoey's cat is named Pyewacket! That is such an incredibly deep cut reference that no kid is ever going to get, but as someone who loves the classic 1958 film "Bell, Book and Candle" I let out a gasp the first time she mentioned her cat's name.
