Yperio_Bricks Posted September 10, 2023 Posted September 10, 2023 In my latest PAB online order which i received Saturday the only two minifig torsos i ordered were missing. But i got 10 additional small parts of various kind. Like 1x1 plates and tiles or 5 plant leaves of 3 different colors. I did not count every order i received in the last 2 years but when i counted there was always something wrong. So when i counted there were always missing or additional pieces but i felt like it evens out and never contacted customer service. Once i even got blue technic pins which i never ordered Only two though. Now i have to contact customer service over the two torsos. Does you guys have missing or additional pieces in your orders too? Quote

In all my orders over the past two or three yeras I never had missing pieces. When pieces weren't delivered they had been deleted by TLG from my orderlist . So I only had "officially missing" pieces but never "accidentally missing" ones. So no complaints about PAB from my side. Quote

Actually i feel bad about the fact that another letter has to be transported from country to country. I told the person from customer service about my observations with my orders and he said that humans were working in the warehouse and count the orders, so errors are only natural. I know that but come to think that this job is more stressful than it has to be... Quote
MAB Posted September 11, 2023 Posted September 11, 2023 I've had over 100 orders from them, dating back to when you had to phone them to place an order. I don't think I've had missing parts or extra parts in any order. However, now the service is very commonly known about, I guess they are more rushed and with more orders, mistakes are likely. I had one order not show up but that was likely lost in post rather than their error. So long as they replace parts when missing, it is fine. Quote
Feuer Zug Posted September 11, 2023 Posted September 11, 2023 I've had one case where they missed 8 large wheels. I contacted them and got the wheels sent in about 2 weeks. Another instance they sent a generous handful of 1x1 small round plates instead of 20. They never responded to my email so I kept them. Mistakes happen and their pickers are human. Thankfully they do work with people to get the orders correct. Quote

Yeah, the guy on the phone said i can keep the 10 extra parts It would to expensive for them to get them back anyway because they send them to me voluntarily and a international return package would cost them much more. I called them (It took a very long time before they answered like 20 minutes but the woman who answered was very friendly and then they sent me the missing parts". Quote
Yperio_Bricks Posted July 5, 2024 Author Posted July 5, 2024 Today i received my latest PAB order. The Lego employee was very generous as i received a whopping 49 additional parts! Most of them 1x1 parts though. But also one 1x4 printed tile and four 2x2 1/4 circle bricks. Quote
MAB Posted July 5, 2024 Posted July 5, 2024 I've also had errors recently, whereas I never had errors in the past going back to about 2012 when I first started using the old replacement parts service. My last order about a month or so ago was missing ten torsos (all the same torso), so I guess that this lot was either not picked or picked and put in another customer's bag. Quote
Feuer Zug Posted July 5, 2024 Posted July 5, 2024 I once ordered a massive amount of 1x1 plates. I think the person fulfilling the order just dumped a huge scoop in the bag and called it good. I probably got about 100 extra plates (then promptly used them in the MOC). Quote
Stereo Posted July 12, 2024 Posted July 12, 2024 I've had problems on 2 of about 5 orders, but they sent the correct parts once I asked. First one was 1x10 plates instead of 1x8 tiles (same number+colour, I guess they just hit the wrong bin), second was x1 instead of x2 on a pretty expensive part. If it was just 10 cent parts I probably wouldn't ask. But I only use PaB when it's cheaper than Bricklink, so it tends to be expensive pieces or large quantities. Quote
