Terra Station Z is a space station which be used for researching ores. Inside the Ore Research Centre, there are several research devices and robotic devices for splitting ores. Theres also an motorized conveyor belt for transporting the ores inside the station. Theres also a communication centre, for communication with spaceships and controlling/monitoring drones.

This was a part of our Lowlug community Neo Classic Space layout.

It is beautifully made, and with a lot of functionality.
Although I have my doubts about those floating elevator platforms. ;)

Very nice build, I love the color scheme and the details!

Gorgeous station. You nailed the Futuron scheme and feel perfectly, yet built a large setup that is quite impressive.

Big, angular, trans-blue windows for the win. They sure make this feel like Futuron.

I especially like the building with the six matching blue windows arranged into three vertical columns.

There’s lots to love here! I really like the dropship and the interiors with the classic-y control panels!

Thanks all for the nice compliments! Nice to hear you like it :classic:

New update:

This small spaceshi, the Terra Transporter Z, is used to transport ores and mining equipment to the mining site and Terra Station Z. The spaceship have a small crane to load the containers.

The middle section of the ship can be disconnected if there's no container to transport. The middle section needs to be disconnected to load a container with the Terra Mining Unit Z.

OK, whaaat? This is too cute and should totally be a set. Love the modularity, especially the removable flatbed. The crane is great too.

Just wondering, do you plan to show this MOC on some event(s) the next year or so in the Benelux? Would love to see it for real.

Thanks! :)

No, I've taken apart this MOC. I've built this MOC last year as a part of our community built. The whole layout was on display at Bricks am Meer in Bad Zwischenahn, Germany.

And a few weeks ago, it was on display at our LUG event.

Terra Mining Unit Z

The Terra Mining Unit Z is a large mining vehicle for using in rough terrain. This vehicle can carry heavier loads than other rovers, because of it's mining equipment and the possibility to carry a container. It can also mine in rough terrain.

It has a working suspension, adjustable cabin, mining drill, small mining tools at front of the vehicle, container lift, two stabilizers, and a foldable crane with adjustable jib.

The Terra Mining Unit Z can use the container lift for loading and unloading the Terra Transporter Z.

Wow, beautiful stuff.  I'm a big fan of Classic Space, but the Futuron theme is very appealing too.  With what appears to be the large success of 10497 Galaxy Explorer, one wonders if Lego will bring out another iconic space set, and if so will it be a Futuron set?  I'm sure the monorail is too much to hope for, but I'm sure there are great sets to "re-imagine", or new creations like this one based on the Futuron theme.  We can only hope!
