I was very excited to see Lego's new 'modular' Diagon Alley set and in particular the new Owl Post building.

I wanted to integrate this model into the existing 75978 Diagon Alley, but it is a very tiny rendition of the building; see below!

Here's my improved version... I wanted to try and stick to the spirit and design of the original build as closely as possible.

Good afternoon @TheDoctor,

I can't send you a private message yet because I literally created an account to send a message to you. I have the original Diagon Alley set, but I slightly fell in love with the idea of the owl post office in the new Diagon Alley set. So I was pretty disappointed that the owl post office is so small. Did you maybe make instructions/a part list for this modified version. I think you did a really great job, I'm still very new to creating/modifying myself (as an adult, as a kid I made all sorts of things). I really think this is a fantastic addition and hope you will share it with me and the rest of the community :)

TIA, Maeve

I'd love to recreate this, it's amazing! Don't suppose you have a step by step guide, or can provide a list of items used? Don't tease us like this 😂

I was wondering if you tried to recreate it.

@Maeve @Jazlovespink

I had no idea that you'd replied to this sorry!
I'll work out how to upload the instructions for you :thumbup:

I finished modifying the new Malkins set too, just haven't bought the parts yet.

Again, tried to capture the spirit and design of the official LEGO set....

It's interesting to me that these 'new' Diagon Alley buildings are based off the Universal Studios buildings rather than the actual ones seen in the movie.

Oh I love that one too!

I also started to make my own version in stud.io. I took a lot of inspiration from you, another MOC I saw on a FB group, the original set and indeed the Universal Studios building. I am very curious to you part use and instructions!
