@Mazin

It was an extremely difficult decision and throughout the analysis various critics were considered for the prize, however Mazin’s personable demeanor and ability to provide articulate responses well after his initial feedback set him slightly ahead of the competition.

Now What?
Winners haves until September 30* to contact @Mister Phes and submit the postal address they'd like their prize delivered.
* failure to provide postal address by this date will result in forfeit of prize

Everyone else...  let's give the winners a round of applause and extend our congratulations to everyone who submitted their wonderful entries! :pir-huzzah2:

A traditional "arrr" might be out of place. Looks like none of the winning sets were focused on pirates themselves, but rather on Islanders or Imperials. Maybe something the LEGO Group should keep in mind whenever a new round of sets in the theme sees the light.

Congrats to all the winners! All should be very proud.

And thanks Mister Phes for organising. The Pirates forum is not somewhere I'd typically hang out but the flurry of activity has kept me pretty engaged the past few months.

Congratulations to the victors! :pir-triumph:

Thank ye @Mister Phes and the staff for organising this fun contest, it was me first time competing in one and I enjoyed it! So many beautiful builds from so many talented builders. This contest motivated me to build a small MOC, which, to me is a positive thing, considering lack of pieces in my collection at the moment. Overall, the most fun I have had as a builder. :pir-huzzah2:

Very well done to the four winners. But everyone said it during voting: choosing was very hard. So many great entries. The whole contest was very smooth and well organized as the others have said also. Very good work @Mister Phes for keeping the theme so vibrantly alive.

Up the mugs for the winners :pir-huzzah2: I rly hope all the participants will give their creations a go on Rebrickable so everyone can get a chance to be rewarded in some way :pir-wink:

Good observation, i agree that Islanders are absolute winners of this contest, but as i've said in my final thoughts during the voting phase, it doesn't neccesarily mean that they got more popular than Pirates and Soldiers, it's just their sets were generaly better, more interesting, more original, while Soldiers for example brought plenty of remakes that had to share a lot of votes. In short, we didn't strike gold in Pirate or Soldier section contest during the contest, but we did strike gold in the Islander zone ;)

Congratulations to Winners and sincere thanks to Organizers for coming up with this show and then running it to the end :)

Well done everybody, The 4 sets look great together in the top image, and thanks to @Mister Phes for organising it

There were lots of great entries

If anyone wants to build King Kahuka's Outrigger Boat the instructions are avaliable here for free,

Rebrick wouldn't let me add a discount code to make my premium builds free, but for the next week if anyone here also wants instructions for those, send me a message here and I will send you a PDF copy.

Congratulations to the winners :pir-huzzah2:, I loved all the entries but we had to glean it down to just a few so cheers to the winners but I hope all of you, regardless of whether you won or not stick around the forum and share your MOCs, WIPs, Figbarfs, etc... And as always thanks to Governor Phes for organizing the contest :pir-triumph:

So the votes for the entries is publicly available but where are the scores of the critics? I'm sure the critics would love to see some feedback for all the many hours of reviews and feedback that they gave to everyone.

Did you miss the Creative Critic Leaderboard?

Furthermore, there was an opportunity for builder's to provide feedback to critics.

It was last updated on August 21st — 5 days before the contest has ended & the next update was promised. Nothing has changed in there ever since — no announcements nor updates. I think it'd be reasonable to summarize the results of the CC contest in the same way it's done with the Main one at least, I mean, there was basically a calendar month to check out Critiques' feedbacks & finalize their ratings accordingly — I guess there should be something to report at the end of things, right?

I agree, I thought maybe I had missed something on that board but no, it hasn't been updated for a month.
