jmenomeno Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 Hm. I have a few movies that are noteworthy with a quote: 1. Raiders of the Lost Ark - the first one for Indy is the best one for me. Great script and characters! ..."I don't know, I'm making it up as I go along." 2. Disney's Beauty and the Beast - the moment at the end where Belle recognizes Beast after he transforms is a moment where the movie went beyond an animated film.. ..."It's you." 3. Casablanca - great lines and script. ..."That is my least vulnerable spot." 4. The American President - I would want a person like Andrew Shepherd to be President. ..."Oh, you only fight the fights you can win? You fight the fights that need fighting! " 5. The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai in the Eighth Dimension - I get the impression that many of you haven't seen this flick...rent it! It's a really neat cult flick! ..."No matter where you go, there you are." 6. Star Trek III: The Search for Spock - I'm one of the few that like III the best, and it's because it dealt with the theme of friendship and sacrifice. ..." Jim. Your name... is Jim." 7. The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King - a film should take you somewhere...this one goes much farther. ..."That still only counts as one. " 8. Animal House - I will admit it's vulgar, but it's hysterical! ..."I think that this situation absolutely requires a really futile and stupid gesture be done on somebody's part." 9. Field of Dreams - a film with an enormous amount of heart. ..."What you grinning at, you ghost?" 10. The Sandlot - Another baseball flick, but also with a lot of heart. ..."You play ball like a giiirrrrrrrrl!" 11. American Graffiti - before Star Wars, George Lucas made this film... ..."Somebody wants me. Somebody's who's out there, roaming the streets, wants ME... Would you turn the corner? There are many others, but these come to mind first. Joe Quote
