Moneytachi Posted October 9, 2023 Posted October 9, 2023 (edited) Hello everyone. Welcome to my LEGO Batman Movie Screen-Accurate Bactcave & Wayne Manor recreation project. Here, I will show you all of my recreations of the vehicles, buildings and objects from the LEGO Batman Movie. Since it is unlikely Warner Bros., Animal Logic, or LEGO will release instructions for the models used in the movie, I decided to reconstruct all of the vehicles, buildings and objects for everyone to build. All completed models are available to download here: https://bricksafe.com/pages/Moneytachi Feel free to add on to this project. Updates will be posted on this topic. So far I built most of the vehciles that are already sets like: Batman (1966) Batmobile: Set 76052 Batman Begins (2005) Tumbler: Set 7888 Batman Dragster: Set 7779 7787 Bat Tank: Set 7787 76012 Batmobile: Set 76012 Bat Dune Buggy: Set 70918 "Bat Hawk": Set 70915 7786 Batcopter: Set 7786 76011 Batcopter: Set 76011 6863 Batwing: Set 6863 Whirly Bat: Set 70914 Bat Jetski: 70907 Bat Kayak: Set 70923 76000 Batboat: Set 76000 "Riptide": Set 70909 I also built the Bat Wolf from The LEGO Batman Movie and built the Batwing from the Lego Movie. Now I'm building the Batmobile from the LEGO Movie. Edited October 9, 2023 by Moneytachi Quote
NDLG80 Posted October 11, 2023 Posted October 11, 2023 Hi @Moneytachi, Looking forward to seeing some photos of some of these amazing builds.. :-) Did you build Brickmasta's the Lego Movie Batwing and if so did you modify the wings to add supports? I purchased his awesome instructions and have collected almost all of the parts, but haven't had a chance yet to start building, but know that I will need to add alot of support for the wings. Also curious to see how you go with your Lego Movie Batmobile, I love mine and really need to take some photos of it, along with some recent builds from the Lego Movie :-) Quote
Moneytachi Posted October 11, 2023 Author Posted October 11, 2023 (edited) Hi @NDLG80, I checked out Brickmasta's Batwing and discovered some areas where I could add support. So, I rebuilt it using the pictures from the movie and the game, making it even more intact. I am half way done building the Batmobile from the LEGO Movie. Edited October 11, 2023 by Moneytachi Quote

FarQuaad_bricks Posted December 29, 2023 Posted December 29, 2023 I made instructions for lego movie batwing (wing part only) https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1IF_ZD4nxkzuXCuDuI2FPOzLJqvbGzSlm Quote
Moneytachi Posted January 10, 2024 Author Posted January 10, 2024 (edited) I'm finished building the LEGO Movie Batmobile. I will soon uploaded the LEGO Movie Batmobile to my Bricksafe page. Please note a lot of the pieces are floating or colliding. If you use Lego Digital Designer, turn on developer mode, or you can import it into other building software such as Studio 2.0. Moneytachi Posted August 14, 2024 Author Posted August 14, 2024 (edited) 16 hours ago, Lionbear8 said: cool, how do we get instructions now? No, but you can find it on my Bricksafe page here. The main design was the train engine and 2 train cars behind it. The extra things are to show the 1st car in its open position and the interior, and some of the bat vehicles that go on the 2nd car. The 1st car was a mini bat cave, FYI. It had small versions of classic bat cave props and the ‘outer. From what I can tell, they made some slight modifications to my design. The cow catcher is different. And on the front of the train, what was originally designed as a sort of cannon they made into a bat signal light instead. Also note, the main design restriction was that if it could be built in LDD it was allowed. Which, as you know, it doesn’t mean it would be necessarily practical in real life. For example, I could use hinge plates and set them at a specific angle and in LDD they would stay fixed, but in real life, they would of course hinge and move and not stay fixed. Animal Logic, the studio that made the movie, didn’t;t really care about it being a legit real life build. As long as LDD allowed it, it was fine. So there are probably some bits that won't work in real life. Feel free to modify as needed to make it work. Edited August 14, 2024 by Moneytachi Quote
Moneytachi Posted August 14, 2024 Author Posted August 14, 2024 (edited) Hey everyone! After putting together the Batmobile from The Lego Batman Movie, I started researching other Bat vehicles and found a bunch of cool models. Huge thanks to Brent Waller for showing me more Bat vehicles—I discovered a lot thanks to his help. However, he didn’t build any air vehicles, so I’m still on the lookout for those! I’ll be posting soon about the other vehicles I’ll start building and sharing them on my Bricksave page. If anyone comes across anything else that could help, like Batcave concept designs, additional Bat builds, or locations for the Batcave, I’d love to see it. And if you have any leads on air vehicles, please share! Edited August 14, 2024 by Moneytachi Quote

I made a lot of screenshots, but recently deleted them, since I had no such plans anymore for a very long time. Most of the aircraft can be seen attacking the heroes during the climax; some of them were official sets (like the 7786 and 76011 Batcopters); one of the two large cargo planes is a Bat-variation of the aircraft seen in the opening sequence; the Lego movie Batwing can also be seen. Edit: I guess you knew everything of that already... My bad Edited August 14, 2024 by Max_Lego Quote

My bad Hey there, I wanted to tell you that I found the person who built one of the cargo planes that can be found in the Batcave from the LEGO Batman movie. This person rebuilt it in real life after the movie was released. I have to make some changes to certain areas of the plane when I recreate it. Here’s an image of it before I make it part of Batman’s collections: However, for the other cargo plane, I only have two options: one is to try to find the person who built it, or two, to build it from scratch using the movie as a reference. Thank you very much! This cargo plane is awesome, and indeed, it's the one from the movie (though in the movie it had a V-tail, a sillier nose, and the refueling rod was located on the nose rather than above the cockpit). As of the other one, it seemingly had a nonexistent windshield part (which doesn't make it less magnificent). And yes, as almost all TLBM vehicles, it's much bigger on the inside (for better interior detail) Quote

Brent waller has them on he's Twitter account, the bat navy ship with the planes would have been special. and the boats he did were cool. I'm still dirty that we never got the lego movie Batmobile, Batwing and that lego movie 2 never introduced any new bat vehicles, we knew about one of them been released, it was nearly done as a set but cancelled last minute. I'm still hopeful that one day Lego will release a book or set where you can build 10 to 20 different bat vehicles. right now the only fix is the Batman Lego megazines with the small builds. Quote

I suggest using screenshots of that scene for more information. Reducing the speed of the video helps a lot One of the most elusive GCPD vehicles from TLBM is, in fact, the VTOL aircraft flown by Barbara Gordon in her promotional video On 8/15/2024 at 11:36 AM, Lionbear8 said: lego movie 2 never introduced any new bat vehicles BTW, it's not entirely true. It introduced a Bat-themed 2007 Lego Creator 4953, seen in the very screenshot on your profile picture, but I guess that doesn't count, since it cannot fit any minifigure... Quote
Moneytachi Posted October 24, 2024 Author Posted October 24, 2024 Hey everyone! I’ve been slowly building some Bat vehicles, like the Bat-sub, as an example. If anyone wants me to post all my recent Bat vehicle builds, please let me know. Hey @Max_Lego, if you find any more LEGO sets, especially non-Batman air vehicles that have been turned into Batman vehicles (like the Bat-plane you just mentioned), I would really appreciate it! I am very curious now! 4 minutes ago, Moneytachi said: Hey @Max_Lego, if you find any more LEGO sets, especially non-Batman air vehicles that have been turned into Batman vehicles (like the Bat-plane you just mentioned), I would really appreciate it! Thanks! I will try... Speaking of non-Batman sets turned into Bat-vehicles, I just noticed a heavily modified jet plane from the Agents 8630 set. It's almost impossible to recognise. It's seen on the left in the 'Bruce Wayne lives in Batman's attic' scene. The Bat-Ekranoplane seen on the right, while hardly based on any set, is very interrsting Quote
Lego Nostalgia Posted October 24, 2024 Posted October 24, 2024 The Bat Dump-Truck anyone ? Just think of any vehicle you can and make it Bat-Based, that'll fix it I was going to say Bat-Golf Cart, but sadly I feel like that exists already xD Quote
GLAP23 Posted October 25, 2024 Posted October 25, 2024 (edited) Hello, I'm back. So there are some other Bat vehicles that are modified versions of real sets. The Bat Pirate Ship is based on set 6243 Brickbeard's Bounty, the Bat Space Shuttle is based on 60080 Spaceport. In the case of the Bat Space Shuttle, I am surprised on how different the set looks compared to the movie. There is another Bat Boat which is based on 4402 Sea Riders which I took the time to reconstruct. https://bricksafe.com/pages/GLAP23/lego-batman-vehicles Sorry @Moneytachi, there hasn't really been progress on the Javelin. It is such a complicated build. The areas I've worked one so far were from the model ripped from the Lego Movie 2 video game. It may require more improvising as to how this thing is built than thought. As for you posting the recent progress of the Bat-themed vehicles, go for it. I want to see what you've been cooking up lately. @FarQuaad_bricks You're in luck! The helicopter model is in the Lego Dimensions Lego Batman Movie DLC. I already ripped the model. The only thing now is for me to reverse-engineer it and release the LXF. Edited October 25, 2024 by GLAP23 Quote
Moneytachi Posted October 25, 2024 Author Posted October 25, 2024 (edited) Hi @GLAP23, thank you for coming back! No need to worry about reconstructing the Bat vehicles. Brent Waller is slowly sending me pictures of each one, so I can use those to build my own, except for the ones that can fly. I’m still researching and looking for similar vehicles that appeared in the movie. Please take your time building the Javelin no worries! Edited October 26, 2024 by Moneytachi Quote
Moneytachi Posted October 25, 2024 Author Posted October 25, 2024 (edited) Hey @GLAP23, if I'm not mistaken, the police helicopter from @FarQuaad_bricks's image was modified into one of Batman's cool flying vehicles. You could try making this helicopter one of Batman's vehicles, and maybe even create the Bat Train. I have the LXF file of it before it was "Bat-ified" at https://bricksafe.com/pages/Moneytachi/.
