Tks Jay for this review ;)

I think that it looks rather nice but way out of proportion with any other vehicles though !!!

What could be nice would be to alter the model especially the interior and add some chrome parts to the engine ;)

Btw, what is the Eiffel Tower doing in your "curio" shelf :D ;)

Though there are some critics that the vehicle is oversized, I still like this fire hammer very very very much. I wished TLC selling the Dino separately so that the price of each set would be cut down (I just dislike the Dinos, they are too ugly to be called LEGO).

However, I'll still buy this set when it's available at Singapore.

Well done, Bloody_Jay. I'm looking forward to your coming review.

Driver's side. My question? When this is brought to Europe, will the steering wheel switch sides? ;)

8-| You know that only Jon and his fellows drive on the left side while every other european country drives like you? >-| :P

Yeah! We Brits love to be different! ;)

I don't care which side the steering wheel is on anyway, as I really doubt I will pick up any of these sets. Especially after seeing the supposed European set, what a piece of junk!

Re value: it's got 259 pieces for $20. Now, while I abhor the Dinos and think they're the reason that we have stickers instead of printed pieces (to save on cost), this means they only take up THREE out of 259 pieces. Still, fantastic piece/price value.

Re oversize: it's meant to be an army hummer. Those are really, really big. And besides, the LEGO vehicles are underscale - they hold only one figure. So technically, this one is in scale and the others are not. ;) But yeah, it is pretty big.

That looks like a really great set, although I don't think I'd have anywhere to put it.

I have the same problem too. I'm the kind of LEGO fan who like to display and keep my sets inside cupboards. So, the size of my cupboards will limit the size of LEGO sets that I can buy. I don't like my sets to get dirty and dusty if they are left 'un-sheltered'. ;)

A sound review Bloody Jay.

I'm also a fan of that battle scarred face. I might have to pick that one up some time. The helicopter is probally the best "large" one TLG has ever produced. But the stickers really degrade this set. I can't stand the stickered computers. It must be cheaper stickering pieces rather than printing them for the LEGO company. Oh well, the design is pretty nice.

The Dinos though, just aren't LEGO quality. The remind me of the MEGABLOKS dragons.

Thanks, Bloody_Jay. Another brilliant review.

I really like the helicopter. Though I hate the stickers (it seem like there are a lot of it), it won't stop me from buying it.

Too bad that when will the Dino line arrive in Singapore. . . :'( Guess I've have to wait for the meanwhile.

i have been drooling all over this ever since i bought it on ebay for $20.95 :cry_happy: - it didn't come with the instructions or the dinos which i am ok with.

but it didn't cime with the people either :cry_sad: i already have digger though :sceptic: the helicopter is awesome :oh: thanks for the review
