Well some sets [This CG Platform is one of them] a store exclusive to Toys R Us but most CG and all other LEGO can be found in shops like Target, BigW, Kmart, Myer, Mr.Toys Toy world & David Jones & then there is Toys R Us of course but they are usualy abit more expensive then other retailers but they usualy have the exclusive sets like this one. And its funny you are from Japan because i'am going there in September with my Dad [He's a missionary] and i was wondering where i can find LEGO in japan since i have not been to Japan since 2001 and i was not into LEGO much then. Im sure you guys have a Toys R Us right?

Ah, so the 4210 Coast Guard Platform can be found at Australian TRU then? I don't think it's available anywhere in Japan (even at TRU), and it's really the only set I want from that series.

There's tons of places that sell Lego in Japan, though. The best selection is at Toys-r-us, Bik Camera, and the Lego Store (we have a few). TRU seems to be a few dollars cheaper on average, but I haven't made any rigourous price comparisons. There might also be good places in Tokyo or Osaka I don't know about.

I'm not Japanese, incidentally, I just live there.

Ahh not a local eh? lol.

Yea i think the only place too find this set is at TRU since its Exclusive here in Australia and most of the time exclusives are TRU either that or Myer/David Jones

They have actualy LEGO stores in Japan! wow lucky i dont think we have any here - I remember buying little LEGO sets at a Japanese Supermarket when i went there in 2001 with the rest of my family  hmm funny i dont remember LEGO stores in Japan but then again i was not into LEGO then as much as i am now. I will have too ask my dad if we can go to one when we go

This is, by far, the best set of the Coast Guard line. I love it so much. I'm guessing that this will be a Target exclusive to the US since we have yet to get it over here. 469 pieces too? It looks so much bigger, maybe it will be cheaper than I anticipate. Thanks for the review!

I experienced some problem with a part where the structure seems to be quite fragile, not sure if any of you have the same issue:

please note the ceiling in the picture below, the computers are placed on the floor above and the ground is quite fragile:

And the helicopter is rather small, although it can be a pricing point issue, that is, if they design a bigger helicopter the cost of the entire set would be too high, but here in Hong Kong, we have to purchase 4210 at around USD 85, not very fair but there is nothing we can do.

Besides the above, I would say this set is excellent.

Darn  another nice set from LEGO.

Good review and thanks for sharing with us.

I want to get this set, but I'm broke.
