Have to imagine the Sarlaac pit is meant to be paired with a UCS Sail Barge this fall. Sail Barge will probably look great on its own, but you'd be able to add the Sarlaac Pit if you want, or pair an earlier version of the pit with the Barge and ignore this new one altogether.

Maybe. I think they probably couldn’t do anything less with Chewy. 

Wasn't there an X-wing/TIE Fighter dual set "leaked" a couple weeks ago and then dismissed as being fake? Just a coincidence or did that person know something after all?

Well it’s expensive, and has more figures than normal so I’m almost certain they pair. 

So no MTT or AAT then? The two high-price August sets are already reserved. I wonder what the remaining TPM sets will be, if any

I don’t think it’s too good. Admittedly, it’s exceptional. I wonder what the set will actually be because I was certain we’d have a Police Gunship and the Noti pod.

It’d be crazy if all the figs in the Sarlaac pit are missing from the sail barge. And if they’re not, it’s still a ripoff because you have to “complete” the sail barge and potentially double up on certain figures. At least when DC did the batcave last year they released a standalone Batmobile while including one on the batbox

Ngl Star Wars has just got really interesting. What a way to celebrate 25 years, with absolute iconic sets. Iconic in a completely different way I would have ever imagined. 

You have to be applaud the audacity. 

Glad I predicted the Infiltrator and Sarlacc over on Future sets thread over the months and days.

Seeing Jedi Bob’s starfighter really makes me think this is all a joke. 

Otherwise this will certainly be one of the worst ever waves for LSW for me.

Overall, sounds like a bit of an underwhelming wave but props to the LSW team for trying something new.

558 pieces for the Sarlacc set. How weird. Wonder why the price is so high. The two unknown figures have to be aliens of some sort that go with the anticipated UCS Sail Barge.

It’s double the number of pieces we’ve gotten in the past for this set, probably just a higher resolution since this will likely be a necessary complement for the UCS set

 

Very interested to know the price/piece count of that Sith Infiltrator
