I wonder: does the release of a UCS Jango's Slave 1 decrease the value of 75060? Or raise it? Boba's ship stays exclusive, but then again you get basically the same guts and frame with a new paint job with Jango's.

I thought about this too, and I’m leaning toward the 2015 Slave 1 seeing a substantial bump in price. I don’t think many will be so willing to swap the parts to Boba’s paint job when there’s already been a dedicated UCS set. Plus, from my purely anecdotal and uninformed view, it feels like dark red curved slopes are much harder to come by as opposed to similar ones in dark blue; similarly, sand green tiles are harder to find than yellow or LBG tiles.

I could also see many collectors wanting both models to compare the difference across 10 years.

Then there’s the likelihood that “Slave 1” will be censored, as has been previously mentioned. Either way of the debate in which you lie, a censorship would make that 2015 Slave 1 plaque much more expensive.

In summation, I really wish I bought that 2015 beauty sooner.

Speaking of beauties, I’m glad that Plo’s starfighter is real and on schedule (on program) for next June! Can’t wait to see the figures included, although I’m just glad that Plo Koon is making a comeback. (I still want Kit Fisto in the ARC-170 even though I know that isn’t happening.)

wasn't particularly relevant (as in, it didn't tell us anything about the character we didn't already know)

Man this is quite possibly the worst ship to choose for "the name doesn't tell us anything about the character" - there was a whole story behind the name that tells us a hell of a lot about Jango and who he was.

Also, I've never got this "why do you guys care that it's being changed" - why would they care enough to change it in the first place?

Never more than twelve (system sets in a year now)

I hope Plo gets a new mold- it's been long enough it'd probably count as a new one even if they just recreated it, though I'm not sure if being rubber changes anything.

The story might tell us a lot about Jango, but I fail to see how changing the ship's name would ruin his characterisation, also I haven't read that story, is it cannon?

I don't know why they'd change it, probably just that they decided that "slave" is no longer as marketable or something, but I'm sure some post on the circlejerk subreddit will get 200-300 upvotes and you will herald it as proof that I'm wrong...

Didn’t this guy disappear? And when has he ever been reputable as a leaker?

He took a break, he's not the most reputable but he's not untrustworthy either

Lifebricks 3 sets remain yet to be revealed.

One of them he says has potential to be one of the best sublines for LSW

one of “was obviously going to happen” but will split the fan base due to one of the figures

the other choice is a “wild choice” at least for the era figure is based on and should bring for a great figure.

Youtuber serves up a bunch of clickbait with no actual information purely to drive speculation ie. engagement. What does this need to be posted?

They better make a new mould, the old one’s printing rubbed off so easily, plus it’s a bit cartoony. At the very least I’d hope they’d make it out of the harder rubber that they’ve used for Yoda and most rubber-headed characters since ~2013, rather than the soft rubber they used for the original Plo, Clone Wars Yoda, and Kit Fisto.

He really needs a complete redesign. The original head mold has always been terrible right from its release with how squished it was. It would be nice to finally have a Plo Koon figure that hasn't been trapped in a trash compactor.

I'm definitely excited by the prospect of a new Plo Koon head piece. The old rubber heads have not aged well and the proportions were way off, especially with the pointy bits on his mask being huge. A new, dual-molded, hard plastic piece would be excellent. I would love for Kit Fisto to get the same treatment someday too.

If it wasn't for the likelihood that this is intended to be a RotS set, I would also love to see arm printing for him based on his Clone Wars look with the gauntlets but I suppose they could still do it if they also put Wolffe in the set and make it a set that kinda works for both CW and RotS. It's not like LEGO hasn't done something like that before.

According to davebricks, who I think we can say is quite reliable now, there will be a battlepack in the June wave.

Please let it be Army Troopers. It would work so well with the U-Wing.

I know lego isn't super accurate with rank tiles all the time, but I don't think they're gonna turn around and use Thrawn's torso for Dedra.

I was thinking of Krennic‘s torso (or rather a slight update of it since it‘s obviously not in circulation anymore), but only just realised the different rank insignia :laugh_hard: As I‘ve said before, I never pay much attention to those colourful rectangles  (And of course I realise Krennic outranks her by a hurge margin by virtue of being the director, but that‘s what the majestic cape is for, no?)

So yeah, she‘d have a new torso print. Still not super exciting to me personally.

I‘d rather have those than yet another CT battlepack, but my vote goes to a Nighttrooper one!

Seconded, this would be the perfect opportunity to reintroduce the Death Trooper (still has one of the best minifigure helmets ever made IMO), and we’ve seen from this year that Lego aren’t afraid of creating new moulds for a battle pack, so Enoch would be perfect too.

Krennic is also not ISB; he is the director of Advanced Weapons Research, which is a branch of Imperial Intelligence and thus part of the Imperial military structure. Conversely, the ISB is a branch of COMPNOR, which is a “civilian” entity.

We usually get at least one Clone pack each year, so I suspect that will hold true for 2025 as well (not judging based on a pattern, but on the fact that Clones sell!). While we are overdue for a 212th (with Airborne Trooper(s)) vs. Crab Droid pack, a Wolfpack one would fit well with Plo Koon’s JSF (especially if the set includes Wolffe).

I feel like we would have a better chance of getting a Night Trooper pack, Enoch, etc, whenever Ahsoka S2 comes out.

Whoops, I thought the ISB was a part of that, but I stand corrected then

True. Maybe we‘ll get two battlepacks then? :shrug_oh_well: I miss the times when four in a year was normal.

Don’t sweat it. It’s confusing.

Especially when you find out that Admrial Versio is ISB not Navy Intelligence.

Not sure where Grand Admirals fit into it. TBH.

Ah yes, better times when 4/ 6 main factions could get a BP in a year. Sometimes they’d even throw us a goofy BP (Jawas).

Those were the days, where have they gone?

According to Wookieepedia "Orson Callan Krennic (...) who served as Director of the Imperial Military Department of Advanced Weapons Research, which belonged to Imperial Intelligence and the Imperial Security Bureau during the Imperial Era. Additionally, he was the commander of the DS-1 Death Star Mobile Battle Station up to the beginning of the Galactic Civil War."

Yes that's very true. Before his promotion to admiral Garrick Versio was apparently an ISB Inspector General (with a single row rank plaque of three red tiles followed by one blue) Also weird that Grand Moff's outrank Grand Admirals even though Grand Admirals have the flashy uniforms.

Luckily in Lego form we have an accurate torso for both Admiral Versio and now also Director Spiro Barsha leading the ISB covert intelligence division. I just really hope for an Andor set which gives us another ISB (or other officer) rank in the future.

lol so apparently the random on discord who leaked many of these sets just admitted he was trolling. UCS Jango Slave I, Arc-170, Chopper, logo, Ahsoka starfighter and the U-Wing were corroborated by other reputable leakers but the summer battle pack, midi-scale Kylo Ren’s shuttle, AT-AT driver helmet, and Plo Koon’s starfighter are all unverified.

At least UCS Slave 1 is safe.

What a loser that guy though

Wow, a lot of people are gonna be pretty upset.

The Plo-Koon's fighter "leak" especially has already spread like wildfire and it'll take a lot more time for the news that it's (probably) fake to catch up.

He’s confirmed Plo Koon’s JSF is indeed coming, awesome! So it looks like there’ll be a wave between April and June with a few system sets at least.

Hang on is the Plo Starfighter still coming? He in the quote refers to Childish Landino, but I can't find the source for it

Can also verify the ARC-170, Ahsoka's Eta-2, Chopper, and title crawl logo. Seen with my own eyes.

Thank the maker.

I’m sure hoping that DaveBricks wasn’t lying about the June Battlepack. It’s tricky as his info was a mixed bag of real and fake by the looks of it. It ends up hurting more than completely fake batches of information.
