Honestly the summer wave could just be a polybag of her minifigure and that would still be great. I do think there's a tiny change the MTT is Dathomir based but probs not, TLG would more likely just stick a random jedi against it.

Though at least the Jango slave one shows a willingness to touch some non-Clone (or jedi Starfighter) Prequel era content. Though I suppose it is the Clone template's ship (which is an OT ship too I suppose) and his clone son.

The new series get just a set or two. The Sequel Trilogy has barely gotten any sets in the past five years. Location sets are non-existent at this point. Originals get four times less sets than they did before. Buildable figures and 18+ gimmicks are aplenty. Lightsaber-focused prequels don't get lightsaber-focused sets. Rogue One, Rebels, and Solo haven't been touched since their premiere. Clone Wars barely gets sets without clones. Series like Andor and Skeleton Crew get a single set, while The Mandalorian gets at least a few sets per year. There are no location-based D2C sets. Smaller sets barely exist at this point. Why are there two 150€ regular sets in a single wave with only a few sets? And so on, and so on.

I could keep going, but what's the point? This year alone the waves are almost entirely dedicated to helmets, midi-ships, buildable characters, and other gimmicks alike. Let me put it into perspective.

 • January: midi-ships (2), Clone Wars (2), buildable characters (1), The Mandalorian / 4+ (1)

 • May: helmets (3), midi-ships (1), 18+ gimmicks (1), new series (1), buildable characters (1), UCS / Prequels (1)

 • June: microfighters (1), mechs (1), battle packs (1)

 • August: unknown (4), Clone Wars (2), buildable characters (2), 18+ gimmicks (1)

 • September: advent calendar (1)

 • October: UCS / Originals (1)

Summed up: Clone Wars (4), buildable characters (4), midi-ships (3), helmets (3), UCS (2), 18+ gimmicks (2), The Mandalorian (1), new series (1), microfighters (1), mechs (1), battle packs (1), advent calendar (1)...

Do you see something wrong with this list? Because I see plenty, honestly.

I think the problem is all the 18+ sets taking up slots which could be playsets, I think we should only get 3 non UCS 18+ sets MAX. The number of clone wars playsets we get isn't actually that crazy especially when you compare it to 2008-2014, This year we got a whopping 1 set based on the clone wars. We also don't know all the leaks for 2025 yet so it is too early to jump to conclusions, and it is also the 20th anniversary of ROTS so what did you expect? It makes sense for Lego to capitalize on it.

Oh, I just realized something - if the Turbo Tank is real, I was guessing a 4+ set, but could it be from the ships line?  The piece count is a little light, but maybe?

Okay, this is all sounding way too good to be true! A UT-AT with Galactic Marines, a 327th bp, a 7+ Turbo Tank, a Darth Maul mech, on top of the CIS MTT, Plo Koon microfighter, UCS Jango Fett's Slave I, Ahsoka's Jedi Interceptor, and ARC-170. Hoo-boy, I hope for my wallet's sake, some of this is not true. This isn't even including Andor's U-Wing and any other show-based sets we don't know about.

That was my first thought: a midi-scale turbo tank. Kinda weird choice, but it could work. 

Wonder when the AT-ST will release since we already have the May 4th UCS slot as Jango's Slave 1 and presumably the Death Star in the October slot.

I agree with this thought process.  It would be cool to see two UCS sets then three other 18 plus from starship, diorama, helmet or random gimmick.  My biggest problem is all the build able characters.  But I suppose it’s not a problem, I don’t buy them so it just costs me less.

If Lego really cared about making toys for kids to PLAY with, they'd be giving these clones someone to fight. 

It's pretty clear that they're catering more towards collectors who builds sets and puts them on their shelf. (Or build armies on gray baseplates)

That's not necessary a bad thing. I'm a millennial who's probably in that demographic, but I'm also sick of clone sets and would like some variety, especially Separatists and sequel era stuff.

Exactly. Though honestly given the recent leaks and how few system sets we're getting this year, YES, I do think there's too many prequel sets in general, at least this year.

Im back to predict that in the year of our lord 2025 we will get an ep2 or TCW regular gunship im leaning towards AOTC based on the fact we are getting a p1 clone pilot. The only other viable set I see to include one would be a nu class shuttle  but that doesn’t seem as likely as a gunship taking in consideration that LEGO said they were open to doing a regular color scheme gunship

Exactly. I'm not even a big sequel guy- and I'm also not saying that we should have a 1:1 ratio of prequel to sequel sets- but this year's set list reads like a parody of my concerns last year. 

I'm not sure I like being right about predicting these downward trends. If rubber capes start showing up in this theme I'm marching on Billund.

I doubt we get a clone gunship in 2025- putting aside that we got one in a slightly different color scheme in 2023, we just got the UT-AT leaked as a large republic vehicle- BUT I could see a 4+ clone gunship.

I will say this the prices are INSANE! I can’t justify 150$ for that small of an UT AT, the 327th battlepack I understand because it will likely include 6 figs also a 35$ juggernaut is insane, it shouldve been the UT AT that took that slot and price

She* but yeah I’m back baybey! I do see a gunship being likely, LEGO has released plenty of X wings back to back and the gunship is the most popular ship of the prequels but if it doesn’t happen I won’t be mad I already found a mod of the 2023 gunship im content with  I just find it VERY likely. But yeah this year seems like a clone trooper fan heaven

The LEGO designers were reading the last couple of pages. Unfortunately, they only speak Danish so when they recognised the word "clone" they immediately started work on 27 new clone sets to take up every system-scale set slot for the next decade.

Ugh yeah I hate rubber parts. Fabric capes can fray, sure, but rubber can straight up disintegrate sometimes.

After the 2025 Summer Wave, I think we'll be happy with no more Clones, however I would like a normal Gunship and updated Kashyyyk troopers

Only all of the ones on screen? What about the 456th battalion's elite gunship referenced in a single sentence in The Essential Guide to Warfare? No official visual depictions exist, but that's no excuse for them to ignore what the fans want. 

It's irrelevant anyway since half of all sets for the foreseeable future will be 18+ buildable Clone Shoulder Armour™️, all the same build but with a few different tiles to make them a completely new character.

I personally think we will get a regular gunship this year maybe do 2 based, also if they do Bly I think it will look very bad, LEGO isn’t known for printing well on weird shaped parts and bly’s unique markings require dual molding so either they dual mold the helmet or it will look very bad

I absolutely agree. There are SO MANY adult-aimed sets with the buildables, midi scale, dioramas, helmets, etc. We would have a much better opportunity for subtheme balance in playsets if there were more slots freed up for them.

I'm cautious of how legitimate any of the currently unfolding rumors are, but am excited if they indeed are true. Apparently the set # for the 327th pack is 75431 and the source said they didn't "hear" anything about a UT-AT which is ironically set #75413. So they haven't "heard" and not "seen". Okay. Anyone else find it a bit odd that we have set #s 75431 and 75413? Again, I don't know the reliability of the source, but find it abnormal. 

Also, the most confusing thing to me... Why are we all posting the 2025 set discussion in the 2024 thread? We've had a 2025 threat for some time now? I feel like I've been absent so long I don't understand if this is situation normal now lmao.

Re the 2025 I asked recently I think the shift is until 2025 we chat in the 2024 and when January 1st comes it changes to 2025.

im also sceptical atm im still not over the DS player turning into a star destroyer. If the 327th bp is real maybe it’ll be like the 501st from 2020 which was a bigger pick and had a couple of vehicles.

also the turbo tank, was it definite? Could they have got it confused with like a normal clone tank like what we got a few years ago as adjusting for legos price rises would come in around that price now?

I’m intrigued and for the complaints about getting a lot of clone wars I agree but we are getting things we haven’t before - be thankful that there is no 501st in sight.

Just ridiculous. I won't even comment on another Clone battle pack, or a weirdly-sized Clone vehicle. The AT-ST sounds neat, but I wonder why it's a regular 18+ set instead of a UCS one.

327th BP I’m gonna guess is like the Dropship vs Speeder. I hope that the separatist build will be a Corporate Alliance Tank Droid and the republic build will either be a command post or a swampspeeder.

Ideal minifig line-up: 3-4 327th Clones, Bly, Aayla Secura, 1-2 B1s and 2-3 B2s.

I might be overreacting. There are still a whopping total of 2 set numbers unaccounted for (75432 and 75433). I just hope that Lego resists the urge to make one of them a Buildable Mando. Wait… kriff! One of them will have to be the Clone Pilot set.

Okay, there’s one set number that’s currently unaccounted for. Empire, Rebel, Resistance and FO fans, let us pray for salvation.
