Hoping for a well done Delta 7. They’ve never done it justice and the original from 2002 remains the most accurately shaped.

I’m hoping more for an ETA or something new/ from legends but definitely in a unique colour. For me the colour of it is the most important thing just want something new to give Jedi Bob the fighter he deserves

I'll be very interested to see the first images of the Sail Barge; it has the potential to be highly impressive given the part count.  My only concern is that it could be a block of reddish-brown, similar to an upscaled 75020.  The original film model is quite uniform in colour apart from the sails, but hopefully LEGO will add the odd bit of tan, dark tan etc to give it a little more interest.  The minifigure line-up sounds promising - especially combined with the ones from the Skiff set.  2024 is looking like a very good year for LEGO Star Wars!

True. Also, for some reason I thought it was $60 USD instead of $90. Which would make buying 2 of them and the barge $940 CAD.

But yeah, it’ll probably be cheaper to part out a second skiff on Bricklink or Bricks and Pieces, so that’ll be something I’ll look into when the set is revealed.

Yeah- at that price the Sarlacc better be a pretty substantial build unlike what we've had before.

Is Slave Leia going to be like the 2013 version or will Lego censor it a bit  ? Not that it really matters but accuracy is key.

I think it'll be similar to the 2013 figure. Lego's fine with the general amount of clothing worn- it's more than some of the city beach swimsuits- the issue was moreso whether or not they'd do her in the first place. If she's listed, especially as huttslayer leia, it means we're getting the outfit.

Side note: The Huttslayer "rebranding" was a pretty clever move on the merchandisers' parts. Good way to stave off the complaints, and also just a sick name. Kind of reminds me of Red Sonja from Conan.

I don't think the Lady Jessica would remain very long in Jabba's Palace like that. She has the Voice at her disposal, and who knows how well Bene Gesserit wiles work on space slugs? Unless - gasp - you're not telling me the big green character is an unreleased prototype of Leto II Atreides, are you?

This might be the best thing to be posted in this thread. I will need someone to put a standard minifigure torso and head on top of the Jabba base immediately.

Are we thinking that Bob’s starfighter is going to be a conventional Delta 7 or ETA 2 Jedi starfighter or Lego’s going to make a completely original build?

If it's a crazy color, I'd love the delta-7 or ETA-2. If they go with more conventional jedi/republic colors, I'd like to see a mix. Especially with that $40 price point- if it's that much and an ETA-2 or Delta-7, there better be a pretty darn substantial side build.

I think some dark bluish gray or black panel lines could really help to break up the block of reddish brown look while keeping the color scheme accurate.

After watching solid brick studio's sith infiltrator review, I like it a lot more. The ridge isn't so bad as I thought, and saw is absolutely fantastic! The printing especially in the back of his cape, and his facial expressions, just perfect!

How could they possibly censor it? The only thing I could see them changing is being cheap using a generic mould for her hair without the metal pieces. But I still don’t think that’s too likely.

I think it could go either way with Leia. It would be nice to get a movie accurate hairpiece again but with Jabba and Salacious Crumb eating away at the set's budget she is one of the first characters they could cut corners on to save costs.

I think Bib Fortuna will almost certainly be reused from Boba Fett's Throne Room.

I feel like eating away at the budget shouldn't be a concern in a $550 set, especially when they had her perfect in the 2013 set alongside Jabba, Max Rebo and Ree Yees.

Also will be really disappointing if they do reuse Bib; he's completely different in RotJ vs The Mandalorian.

Just built the Tantive hallway set. No surprises that it looks great; Dark Trooper hallway walked so this set could run. Some excellent building techniques in the set, in particular the sideways builds for the curved doorways, and also the way the wall details are created. I know it's popular to get two sets and combine them, but I didn't realise that Lego themselves suggest this in the final pages of the instructions, although not mirrored as is commonly seen. One small (small) gripe is the lack of a clip to attach/hide Vader's lightsaber somewhere on the back of the build so he's not holding it in the scene, but this is easily fixed with spare parts.

Behind the open doorframe is a piece with two holes to store a lightsaber and the clear cylinder

Yeah, the headpieces are not similar enough! If they can bring back the Gamorrean piece unchanged, they can do the same for RotJ Bib

Can’t see if anybody has mentioned but apparently the June wave is being released in North America in August while everyone else is still getting it in June. Seen a couple of posts on Reddit about it. Kind of sucks don’t see why they would do that? The same posts say a couple of sets have had a price change as well to what’s been reported some cheaper some more expensive

I’m actually curious why Lego’s not been making Bad Batch and Andor sets. They are not just better content than BOBF but they also have more cool vehicles and characters that kids would prefer in comparison to say the Mod Bikers.

Can someone please explain to me why Lego refuses to make Bad Batch sets despite it being the main show for the majority of the child demographic. I would love a Rho-Class shuttle and CX clone assassin ship.

Maybe they just thought TBB and Andor sets wouldn’t sell well? Especially with Andor being a more mature show, the only set they could realistically make would be Luthen’s Haulcraft which would need a fairly large pricepoint.

I’m not sure how the sales figures were for the Marauder, Justifier, and Ambush on Ferrix, but they probably influenced the lack of more sets.

For what it’s worth, I do think both Bad Batch sets we did receive were the victims of poor decision making. The Marauder could’ve been a nice hefty ship with interior but the LSW team decided to shrink it down and divert pieces to the speeder bike build instead, and the Justifier just doesn’t look that good and could have been something else instead. It’s genuinely frustrating that the Justifier’s pricepoint should have been used to make a good Marauder.

I do think it would’ve been wise to dedicate one smaller set to just having something tying in to the Bad Batch and having the characters on shelves whilst the show is running, but alas.

I honestly think it’s because Lego have to cover too much. It’s different to when the clone wars or even when rebels was out there was no other content so you could have waves dedicated to each show but right now we have what 4/5 shows on all with a lot of material that could be converted in sets but what do you sacrifice. Do you stop making the TPM sets we have this years or the OT sets or the dioramas or the helmets they all sell well. New stuff is a risk. Kenobi and BoBF were released as films instead of series we would have had the purge trooper bp or final battle in mos eisley set.

At lot of people don’t just buy LSW we buy in other themes Lego will price people out if they put touch out.

I do agree that the Disney plus shows have not had the coverage they deserve in terms of Lego sets the only way I could have seen them releasing enough to cover them would have been at the cost of the helmets/ the dioramas all the clone sets we’ve got recently all the OT stuff we’ve had in the past few years.

we are blessed to be in times where we have so much content in all platforms (games/tv/films) it might come at the cost of a level of coverage in merchandise and toys that we are used to from the films in the past

I'm almost positive that they've done this the past few years.  I don't know why that's the case, but the last couple of waves have hit shelves in the US a little bit later than the rest of the world.

Honestly it's so bad that I kind of like it. If the set was gru and 1-2 minions in normal outfits, I probably would have gotten it.

They've done this before- a number of the january 2017 sets were released in march in the US, for example. It's annoying. Interested to see the price changes, though.

Sometimes they don't even say they do it, too. The AT-TE was impossible to find for the first month or so in a lot of the US- it wasn't that it was selling out, a lot of retailers just weren't receiving the set.

Seeing that Lego has started phasing out cloth capes in other themes, how long do you guys think we have until we get plastic stormtrooper pauldrons (in the style of Dr Strange cape) I honestly think it would be a great idea and would make the pauldrons look better.

I wondered if it’s production issues? Seems like the only logical choice. Although I don’t like this drip feeding of sets I prefer the good old days of winter and summer waves

I think the post said the sarlaac pit is  now $80, C3PO is now 140. The battle of peridia is 55 dark falcon 180 and the skeleton crew 140. I can’t remember what the prices were previously but these were the sets highlighted in the post that are rumoured to have changed

So I'm confused, was the rumored figure list for Jabba's Sail Barge legit or no? I saw only one Instagram page post the rumored figure list and it was on April Fools. I'd love to get a new Leia and Salacious Crumb, but honestly haven't seen that rumor corroborated elsewhere. Can anyone confirm if that list is legitimate? If so, kind of a snooze we're not getting more of Max Rebos band, but given they mostly need new moulds it's somewhat understandable. Lyn Me would have been easy to do, and I love getting new Twi'leks for my collection. Still waiting on Sy Snootles to be made someday, but maybe that's just me.

Huh, never thought of it that way. When building I figured it was one of those cases of using one more of a piece that was already included in the same bag rather than including a completely different (albeit standard) brick instead.

Flipping the price point, and piece count, of the Marauder and Justifier would have been an excellent move; a beefier Marauder to properly fit the whole crew and a downsized Justifier would have been more palatable to people mostly interested in the figs from that set.

Ambush on Ferrix was a victim of terrible price setting, with a price way too high for 'volume of stuff' provided. It'd be disappointing if this was interpreted back at Lego HQ as Andor sets not selling well.

The Bad Batch sets didn't seem to do well in stores around here. The Justifier in particular has been a huge shelfwarmer even with the half price discounts.

The figure list was first leaked by a member of the PromoBricks team and corroborated by both Foggy Fate and Brick Clicker. I think its safe to assume its legitimate. :classic:

I can understand the lack of band members with the set as Max Rebo was the only one seen aboard the Sail Barge in the film. It would make more sense for Sy Snootles and Lyn Me to come with Jabba's Palace instead. Still was a missed opportunity not including Yak Face, Tessek or Ree Yees though.
