Maybe an unpopular opinion but I think the best option for Cal would've been Bracca Scrapper with the poncho printed onto the torso and legs.

Agree with @Big_Daddy.

But seriously, while not something I personally would have wanted, it would be a solution to the missing poncho if lego was unwilling to give him cloth. Even then, the only reason I wouldn't want it because to me, Cal's "canon" look is without the Bracca poncho for the important events/cutscenes. I'd always take my ponchos off when inside or about to duel someone. (I'd also change my poncho to fit the color scheme of the planet- camo for kashyyyk, the white one with turquoise patches for Bogano, etc). But if you played through keeping his bracca scrapper poncho on, then it makes perfect sense for that to be how you'd want lego to do it.

Though we can all agree the best option would have been the Sumi poncho. Or subbing Cal out for Greeze with a 4079b.

The way Lars Homestead was our last excited GWP for this theme's May the 4th promotion... a shame. Really hope we get someone exciting as an exclusive mini fig next year. I wouldn't mind seeing one of Luke's kids from the IDW comics. But I can see that causing the same uproar Darth Raven produced among some fans, so who know's.

Also kind of want Ziro the Hut to be produced in a legacy Clone Wars wave. I can see a set with Ziro the Hutt, Sy Snoodles, and Cad Bane being very exciting. Especially for those of us who did not want to spend bank on that hideous Bad Batch ship, just for Cad. Plus we can make the most of Sy Snootles mould by releasing her in a Jabba's Hut, Sail Barge, or both.

And I know I said this before but give us Max Rebo's band! Who wouldn't want Lyn Me? We all love Twi'leks. Plus Droopy Mccool would be.... Mccool to get... okay I'll see myself out.

We’ve found George Lucas’s account. (It’s a joke but IYKYK)

Kinda weird there’s been no new details for about a week now.

It’s occurred to me that Lego hasn’t been making that many different unique Jedi recently. Sure they’ve made the mandatory Luke, Ahsoka, Rey, Windu, Qui Gon, Yoda and episode 2 Obi Wan in the last couple of years. But the last Jedi Anakin figure we got was in 2020. The last Aayla Secura figure was in 2017, Ki Adi Mundi and Bariss haven’t been made since 2018, Quinlan and Luminara since 2016 and other Jedi haven’t even been made yet. I wonder why that is. Perhaps just not enough space in the set lineups per year. A new General Kenobi figure with arm printing in a Clone Wars set would absolutely slap though.

Also if Star Wars Outlaws does well, unlikely since it’s made by Ubisoft, will Lego pull another 2022 BD-1 and make Kay Vess’s alien pet as a buildable creature set? If they follow the same formula as JFO that would mean we can already predict one of the 30th LSW anniversary figures, that being Kay Vess.

Oh and a Star Wars total war is supposedly in the works. Wouldn’t it be cool if Lego released a whole tonne of battlepacks for all the factions in the game if it really happens. They probably wouldn’t though. I miss the days when we got 4 battlepacks a year. It gave space for all the major factions to get one on a frequent basis.

Yeah Anakin has always been surprising hard to get hold of (TCW figures don't count lol), especially without the pilot headset.

I would say once the faces were made in the same style, TCW absolutely counts. But either way, the last anakin was 4 years ago, which is weird. I'm confident we'll see him next year, probably the 2025 Jedi Starfighter.

This is the answer for most of the guys you mentioned- if they aren't a main character, they likely aren't going to be availible all that often. To add to that, most non-main character jedi are from the prequels, and the rabid clone fervor has made it so 99% of the prequel era sets we get consist mainly of, if not exclusively clone troopers for minifigures.

Personally I'd like Plo Koon and Kit Fisto to re-emerge sometime soon. Both haven't been made in over a decade, and feature somewhat inaccurate rubber headsculpts (Plo's works for Clone Wars in terms of color but feels too thin, Kit's is in my opinion not only too thin and flat but totally the wrong color- it should be lime!)

Think that only applies to the one in the 2018 starfighter though right? (And even then it was still another pilot headset version)

A piece of merchandise for Skeleton Crew has leaked, giving our best look so far at the kids in the show. Hopefully this means other merch isn’t far behind, at least once Acolyte airs.

That droid looks similar to the KX-series (though not exactly). I wonder if it will be the obligatory droid sidekick, or an antagonist? 🤔
I hope that we get some new moulds for the kids’ hair (the one with the eyeband needs a mirrored version of Empress Beatrix’s hairpiece).

I almost wonder if it's Jude Law's character in a mask.

The Miraluka girl does need a new hairpiece, but I'm just excited we'll get a lego miraluka now. That said, the Ortolan has to have a new mold, and probably not one they'd be able to re-use for Max Rebo, so I don't know how many more new molds the set'll have.

We already saw him, and he is very much Human (and the droid face looks rather villainous). Also, I think that he is on the ingot on the left side, second person down.

Apparently the trailer shown at Celebration (IIRC) shows that character with eyes, so not a Miraluka.

Hence why I was guessing it was a mask and not his actual face. I'm not saying it's definitely him, just that it's a possibility.

I'm pretty sure the characters shown on the ingot are just the four kids, the droid or masked character, and then the side view of what is assumably Jude Law's character leading the kids like Gandalf and the hobbits.

I heard that, but I also heard her eyes look weirdly dark or something, which would fit.

Are there any set numbers left where we don't know what is behind that number?

We don't know what the creature is, and we don't know what's in the anniversary set, but aside from those, I don't think there are any numbers that we know are coming as sets but don't know what they're alleged to be. I'm sure there are gaps in the numbering or holdovers from 2023, but those usually just end up being sets cancelled early on.

I see, thanks! I was just hoping there's maybe one or two more playsets where we only know the set number yet  :pir-grin:

I'm definitely on the side of it being a droid. Neck seems too thin and the mouth too narrow to have a person under there.

Looks a lot like a stripped-down KX-series droid to me.

The new Thrawn minifig leaked! Dual-moulded legs and the correct rank insignia this time!

Beat me to it. If Lego is choosing dual moulded legs for imperial officers as from now, did they specify choose Commander Praji for the ISD to save money? So they wouldn’t need to include a figure with dual moulded legs since his uniform is black.

Thrawn looks absolutely perfect; exactly what I was hoping for. Battle Of Peridea is by far my most anticipated SW set in a very very long time. Can't wait to see how the rest of it turns out!

The Peridea set is definitely the one I‘m looking forward to the most out of the entire August wave! One new character, two sought-after new versions, and two very welcome new variants. Still sounds too good to be true, but I‘m glad it isn‘t!

Too bad there‘s no Nighttrooper BP to accompany it though, so we‘ll have Thrawn and Enoch without any of their troops :shrug_oh_well: At least for the time being.

The minifig looks so good! The eyes though.... we already talked about it

Can someone let me know which account to look at for Thrawn please? When I search the usual # nothing recent comes up for me. Cheers
