I'd love to see more locations sets!

Definitely, there's a real lack of location-based sets in LSW that aren't 4+ builds or expensive dioramas. I really liked some of the old $20 duel sets, or the $30 Obi-Wan's Hut. Not every set needs to be a vehicle!

Am I the only one who would like more location based sets instead of ships ? I'd love Kamino or Coruscant with a few different buildings with some colorful signs and the lower levels.

Oh I absolutely would love more location sets. I guess it's hard to envision what a place like Kamino would look like, but places like the landing pad, or even portions of the clone factory would be cool to see. In fact, the landing pad would be a perfect way to re-release Jango's slave 1 at system scale...

It looks like Vader the White is going to have a damage-free Sebastian Shaw head! Very useful when creating a minifigure of the actual Anakin Skywalker. I am so glad!

Why’s he wearing the armour then? That’s very interesting.

Is it always this quiet on the forum at this time of year? When we know most of the details for the remaining sets. Or have discussed them to the grave. But we haven’t actually gotten new reveals. I hope we get January 2025 rumours soon. The excitement in this forum appears to peak when we discuss initial leaks. But it’s all fun.

This is typical, yes. Unlike another thread I could mention (), we're pretty good at staying on track here. Meaning that if there's nothing new/relevant, there's nothing to discuss. But these figure leaks are pretty new, so at least there's buzz. Maybe we'll get a sneak peek at Jedi Bob soon.

The complete version of White Vader is up now!
Actually looks pretty decent :sweet:

Getting more excited for the sets now :innocent:

He really does, I'm gonna have to check his bricklink prices once the set's been out for awhile.

Also, I'm so glad I haven't seen the "WhY aReN't HiS lEnSeS bLuE?" complaint here. Such a stupid complaint that really encapsulates my issue with the gripes about lego. People are acting like it's some massively important detail when we don't even know what the figure's based on- and the one white vader I have seen- from the infinities comic- has white lenses. It'd be like if I complained that the Rowan Freemaker figure didn't have dual-molded arms.

All we need now is for Enoch to leak to see if it will be perfect

I am very cautiously optimistic about the figure selection for this set. Thrawn and Ezra look perfect, and on one hand, that could mean the fig budget's been spent. On the other, with two exceptional figures already, what's to say the others can't be?

Though my greatest hope for the figs, aside from a stellar Ahsoka the white, is that Morgan gets a nightsister face print. Not likely, but possible.

Mandr moment.

Speaking of which. I would be interested to know you guys’ thoughts on the Rex’s Microfighter controversy. I think that it’s a good thing that allows kids to get a desirable character for a small price. And the only people who are complaining about it are those who were stupid enough to “Invest” in the venator’s figures. And are now salty that they can’t rob a Rex fan of $100-200.

Exactly!
I can't stand scalpers, so I'm really glad their efforts are made fruitless by LEGO (every now and then, at least).
'Cause it's not just kids who aren't always able to afford/get desirable characters...

Mitch

They're a very light, almost silver-colored blue in the comic. It would have been a nice detail, not necessary, but I wouldn't call it a stupid complaint if some of us (me) would've preferred him to have a bit more pop.

But, if we don't get red lenses for regular Vader, we can't really expect Lego to color them now.

You mean "nontroversy". I feel the head print is the only part that should've been re-done (give us that OG Rex 5 o'clock shadow ), but it's under the helmet so who cares.

Yularen can still make that bread though, *fingers crossed for his rerelease next*

Not a controversy really, more of an absolute win.

They only people salty are those who bought a £560 set for a figure that his own would be sold for at most £5 or do called investors trying to turn a quick buck.

I only hope they do this sort of thing more often, Yularen in the magazine maybe :laugh: I mean I doubt it but it's possible since we did get cloud city Luke who was only otherwise available in the D2C or the America exclusive duel set.

I thought ( I may be misremembering ) that it was said that it was was night sister Morgan in the set?

I mean as the set will be based on a Lego cartoon this with surely be one of the most accurate Vaders ever, even the body proportions will be in the with the onscreen character and I'm sure the lenses will be.

I mean if Lego was in the habit of printing Vader lenses I'd get the complaint but they aren't ( and the helmet usually looks all black anyway).

Coincidentally I just came across an article which mentioned the Japanese Kintsugi technique of repairing pottery with gold lacquer (or platinum or silver). Has this been mentioned as the source of inspiration for the Night Troopers damaged armors?

I am sure Enoch will look great and since the Night Troopers are such an unique and interesting army, a battlepack of 4 Troopers with individual damages and gold and red repairs seems logic, no?

I've always been a bit uncomfortable when people treat LEGO purely as another get rich quick scheme, so I think it's great. And it means I have one less justification to get the Venator, which can only be good for my wallet!

I believe the look of the Star Destroyer was mentioned to be inspired by Kintsugi, so it's not a stretch to assume the same for the troopers.

Did we ever get a TROS Kylo Ren helmet? That was also done in a Kintsugi style, so could be a yardstick for how these new helmets would look.

“Alright let’s do this one last time.” - Peter Parker.

I like the night troopers. They look cool. But I really want a Stormtrooper BP to be next because it would have much more versatility. We don’t even know if, except for Enoch of course, they’re going to keep the red rags now that they’re back in the galaxy. As of now they’ve only been shown to fight on one planet. This is the same reason I don’t like the 332nd BP as much (aside from it having a named character). Stormtroopers, on the other hand, will have not had a BP in over six years by next year. So I’d say that stormtroopers, being the most common trooper type in Star Wars content, are in far dire need of a BP than the Night Troopers who have only as of yet been seen in one piece of content.

Of course there are solutions to this conflict of interests. 1) They make an Imperial remnant BP with 2 Night Troopers and 2 Stormtroopers. 2) They make an imperial patrol gunship with Night Troopers as well as a normal Stormtrooper BP or Vice Versa. 3) They make both BPs in the same year. The last one being the least likely because of the damned “Clone Bros.”

If I’m going to have to die on this hill, then so be it.

He is coming, but let’s just say with all the other figs being pretty decked out they had to cut corners somewhere, so no new mold.

What mould is being used? The only one that would really work is the Range Trooper helmet, but I doubt that is coming back.

Hmm, now I wonder which helmet they're repurposing *huh* It has to be one with a flat surface to print the "face" on, which there aren't too many of... The phase 2 CT or TIE Pilot helmet maybe? Neither would look fantastic, but as long as it's not the ANAD Iron Man helmet, it'll be okay I guess

Actually the mold of new imperial commandos fits well for Enoch IMO, so do they use this mold for Enoch?

Please tell me it’s the Range Trooper mould. Don’t tell me it’s basic stormtrooper helmet with a gold print.
Or is it the old AT ST driver helmet and a gold face print?

Even if they brought back the Range Trooper helmet, it has too many angled surfaces that would need to be printed :shrug_oh_well:

That piece has been out of production for ages and would look absolutely terrible in my opinion
