What If… Ahsoka’s Jedi Starfighter comes with a new Super Tactical Droid figure? The new mould would make it more worth the price imo.

I think at best she'll get a new mold for her young headtails. I doubt the old one is still in production/on file. It'd be cool to see a re-do of the OG, with a secret Vulture (I know, I know, let me dream...), Ahsoka, R7-A7, and 2 (single-mold) Buzz Droids. As it stands, probably just Ahsoka, R7, maybe a B2, maybe a clone (P1 Shiny or 332nd)

Realistically I'm not getting my hopes up. But it really should have a few great character inclusions like these in order to be worth close to $45. Obi-Wan's Starfighter from 2022 is still on shelves for $30, and even that included a new mould for the Kaminoan. So accounting for a bit of inflation, I just don't understand Ahsoka's interceptor being higher than $35. Where this extra $10 of budget will go, I have no idea.

Any predictions on the next battlepack? We’ve now got a decent amount of rebels, imperials and clones. So I’ll be interested to see the route they go with the next bp.

Just pls don’t be another Mandalorian battlepack.

Edit: Calling all Lego Lore experts, we’re in need of assistance at the DC discussion thread in getting to the bottom of the Mayor Corn-cob conspiracy.

Nighttroopers, please

Yeah... Lego really need to stop this weird pupil-less look. It's ruined far too many Star Wars minifigs this year alone. It does NOT look good at all.

Night troopers would make sense as would doing another clone legion.

new republic troopers would be a left field choice but as we’ve got a lot of fleet troopers don’t know if we’d need them.

The list of desirable battle packs grows with every SW release without wishlisting there are some I’m hopeful for

I’m quite liking these super battle packs so I’m more hopeful we get more of these as opposed to normal battle packs

Just here to add to the dislike of the weird glowy eyes. Hated them in 2013 when they tried them on Stass Allie and my opinion of them has not improved at all over the past decade. I really can't see how anyone would think they look better than normal black eyes. (Or, in the case of Salacious and the Sith, a black pupil in a coloured iris)

Just seen the Salacious on Reddit and oof he looks bad. The eyes are of course terrible as expected but I also don't like how his mouth looks so... smooshed? Looks too flat and also too cartoony, similar to the issues I have with some of the modern LotR figures (seriously, compare Frodo, Merry and Pippin with their 2012 versions and the old ones are better in almost every way, aside from the dual-molded legs).

Bro looks like a Muppets character.

At least this confirms the Sail Barge we already knew was coming.

Also, I find it funny that JBSF is already on shelves, with no official images. That is wild.

Official images are out now, they announced it at SDCC.

If Salacious Crumb looks like a Muppet, I'd say that's a pretty good minifig! Because he is. But you know that :)

In regards to the eyes of Sith Characters , Ezra,  Hera, Ashoka, and now Selacious..... Apparently it's all down to an internal 289 page LEGO document: The Complete LEGO Minifigure Guildelines, that was created to ensure that core elements of Minifigure designs are consistent across all themes.

Star Wars figs from the emperor in  the 2023 throne room onwards have all been made to comply with those guidelines.

As most others have said can't say I like it but that's the reason for it 🤷🏻‍♂️

That is a really good point, actually.

He just looks cartoonish, which is unfortunate.

Wasn't that discussed here a few pages ago, and we decided that it more had to do with why the early CMF minifigs had such long, exaggerated facial features (as was on the cover of the book)? That would predate any of this colored eye nonsense. And, even if there is a new rule, they need to drop it - the rule wasn't there before, so surely it can be unmade if Lego gets enough negative feedback.

That doesn't even make sense. Wouldn't the pupiless eyes be an inconsistency?

So, they made the faces simpler? Is that the conclusion that was drawn? I don't understand what this rule is supposed to mean.

They're supposedly more consistent because no recent figures actually have pupils; figures without strongly coloured eyes just get black eyes with a small white spot to represent light reflecting or something like that. The white spot is still present in the coloured eyes.

But, the white essentially are pupils. Yes, it's not biologically accurate, but it's LEGO.

Why not swap the white circle for black? That would solve some of the issue.

I, for one, actually like colored eyes, it provides more variety among heads, but Crumb is really strange. The eyes on the 2012 with the beak of the 2024 would be perfect.
