"This could have been a 224th mudjumpers battle pack!" (But no, I suspect most clone bros will just be commenting how terrible it is that Enoch is in the set)

I do want a 224th battle pack... the 224th Imperial Armoured Division

Hate to break it to you guys. But the Night trooper BP is fake news. Someone, most likely JediBricks, made a post posing as BrickTap

Ok honestly I'm ok with this for now. Hopefully there will be a real one later without Enoch. And yeah that Jedi Bricks guy is constantly making stuff up so not a surprise.

Literal identity fraud is a new low for him though.

Welp. Since we won‘t know about the 2HY wave for a while, it‘s still possible they accidentally made a correct guess, but we‘ll see.

Well, at least we can still have the fun of speculating on the figs and sets.

Surely the Night Trooper in the Peridia set couldn't be a one and done, he'd have to be in a Battle Pack or a Magazine, Also I wish we got 2 Battlepacks per year, One Imperial,One Clone

I also wonder if it's possibe we could get a normal Death Trooper in the U-Wing set, they were in Andor afterall

Definitely a possibility.

I hope we get more than three characters in this set. Andor and K-2SO are a must. Melshi could also be there to fill the U-Wing, instead of a generic Rebel. For the Imperial side of things, I'd kill for a Dedra Meero minifigure. A Death Trooper would also be a nice addition, to protect her from any danger. 🥰

IDK. Why don’t we ask the 2018 mud-trooper and Range Troopers? Perhaps the 2013 P2 Clone pilot could be of some assistance. Same goes to the 2013 212th Trooper. And let’s not forget about the 2014 Barc Trooper or 2012 ARC Trooper.

Honestly I don’t mind the 2 stormtroopers. I’m always happy to recruit more troops to bring peace justice and security to my new empire.

There is one way out (of the lacklustre may sets). And that is the U-Wing

Imagine if the U-Wing only came with 4 Figures, I expect that to happen lol

Can‘t wait for her violent death in S2.

I do. One is more than enough  With this likely being the only set based on S2, there are other characters more deserving of a spot. Stormies can appear anywhere, Andor characters have little chance of showing up afterwards.

It's actually insane how little I care about every single Star Wars set coming out in 2025, and then there's the Andor set which is already an Day One must-buy only because it's based on Andor. I don't even need to know what it is and how it looks. I'll buy it anyway.

So which of the rumoured sets turned out to be real?

All of them, basically. Except for the Battle Pack I think, every other leak was backed-up by some reliable leaker.

What do you mean by „if“? :laugh_hard: She doesn‘t show up afterwards anywhere (unless they retcon it) and she‘s basically the main antagonist of the show. Her and Captain Crunch are toast  Or at least I hope so, especially after those torture scenes! And I don‘t mean the cereal discussions.

The main antagonists not getting their comeuppance in the final season would not be very satisfying.

Allegedly, everything we had heard about before is real. The only unknows are the midi-scale Kylo’s shuttle and the F4 set, the rest is safe, supposedly. Oh, and the Nighttrooper BP is made-up, but that was from a different fake source altogether. I think. Could‘ve been an alt-account of the other fraud to cause even more mayhem.

Has the minifig lineup of the U-Wing set been confirmed? The two Stormtroopers would be a bad choice imo. We got quite some Stormies lately and throwing them into the U-Wing set would be just lame.

Towards the end of the Andor S2 trailer, there's a seemingly new type of Imperial soldier wearing white/black armour that K-2SO throws to the ground, it's possible the Stormtroopers in the set could end up being some of those guys.

I wouldn't put them on the same level at all, Syril hasn't ever witnessed the actions that the Empire is truly capable of and willing to perform, whereas Dedra is actively participating in them.

Agreed, and personally when I'm weighing up the value of sets nowadays I don't include stormtroopers with the new helmet. Any other figure choice would make the set a lot more worth it to me.

No. The line-up is fake.

We know nothing about the minifigures in this set—apart from an obvious assumption (Andor) and a deep desire (Dedra).

I'd rather they put only named characters, since otherwise it'd be a little disappointing, I'd much rather they include people they haven't included yet and aren't likely to include again rather than yet another stormtrooper.

That's what i hope they will do

I said that in the original trilogy they weren't modeled on the rise of fascism, but I admitted they were space nazis. Were you hoping that by citing a a source you would "fact-check" me, well that just shows you didn't read my comment. As for the name, it's no longer used in marketing, so for all intents and purposes, it has been overridden, the old cannon ain't obsolete, just not in use. But, you 'll say "It simply is marketed under a different name which is less accurate to the source material. " the source material is intended as marketing material, if they've chosen to change it, accept it or find something else to complain about.

So it wasn’t modeled on the rise of fascism, just the height of fascism, then. Ok. I fail to see how that makes any difference at all regarding Star Wars being modeled on things that are taboo out of context (like the name Slave I), which was the genesis of this entire discussion. And you said it yourself, the old canon isn’t obsolete. Which…makes it canon. “The source material is intended as marketing material” I mean, clearly not, else they would’ve used the original name, which you yourself admitted wasn’t obsolete, just “not in use”. Palpatine’s permanent death in ROTJ, for example, is something that Disney rendered non-canon with explicit screen proof. Meanwhile, Disney has not offered a new lore for the old ship and haven’t even “renamed” it, instead offering a technically correct, generic name.

Agreed, but they also need a pilot, no? Unless Andor is flying a U-Wing himself in S2.

I‘d say K2 is pretty much guaranteed as well

I wonder if a Jango Fett mech or microfighter will be coming at some point after the UCS set, although Lego may wait until Boba's versions are retired.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if we do get one, more likely in 2026.

He actually is, as shown in the BTS material from D23. K-2SO and Melshi are also there.

And then again, it's not like Syril could fly the Tac-Pod either.

Haven’t seen anyone bring it up but Landino confirmed the Anakin figure in Ahsoka’s Eta-2 is based on the later Clone Wars seasons. It’s still disappointing unless they finally deign to make a new hairpiece for Anakin or something.

I wasn't aware, thanks for bringing it up! I understand why this is disappointing, but for me these character models represent the most iconic era in clone wars, I remember when they changed over midway through season 3. I never liked Ahsoka's tube top look and while Anakin's early CW armor looked cool in live action I felt like his early CW model was a bit too "wooden maquette" style. Also I think lego would be dumb not to pick the version of Anakin that has crossover with ROTS. I understand there are slight color differences between this and ROTS but in Lego form I don't really care, it's close enough lol. I am 100% with you though that if they are going to be doing live-action versions of these characters like they did with Padme (they gave her a CW costume but did her face normal in the gunship, no CW eyes), then IMO they should update Anakin's hair to reflect Hayden's hair from the Ahsoka Show.

Same dude. Troop transports are the best. Especially those that can double as air support. (Tie Reaper, U-Wing, LAAT, HMP Gunship)

I would worry about it getting the T-6 treatment. Seeing as the U-Wing is iconic is being a troop transport. Unlike the T-6.

I just worry about potential downsizing for fans of this ship, sometimes they will downsize a set and turn it into a glorified starfighter where it has space for figs in the cockpit and the interior gets turned into a storage space for weapons and a box.
