Why didn’t Ezra or Thrawn nab a Tie Defender and drop from hyperspace which is something the show established was possible? Are they stupid?

I agree. I think we'll see some 18+ stuff too, we did for ROTJ and TPM

I thought he started to sort of fade into the background after people's response to the way he drew out leaking Young Leia (which IIRC some of the clues still don't work for that, like she can't beat jango. I don't think ADULT Leia could beat jango in canon, she never really got far in her training and Jango went toe-to-toe with Obi-Wan.)

I always assumed that standoff lasted until they reached Peridea. I don't think Ezra would have been able to go get a TIE Defender without the whales potentially letting go of the destroyer, and I assume Thrawn was just being held by the tentacles the duration of the voyage.

Damn the voyage must have lasted days as well. Good thing that space Aladdin was used to being hungry.

BF2 Leia’s gun was busted though. So that version might have beaten Jango.

As long as the plot requires.

There have been inconsistencies here for as long as Star Wars has had overlapping plotlines (ie since The Empire Strikes Back) and I'm not sure there's any benefit to trying to pin down a hard figure. Star Wars has never been hard-science, and it would just arbitrarily limit the stories that can be told

Ahsoka’s trip didn’t take too long whilst inside the mouth of a Purrgil (she arrived at Peridea around the time Sabine locates Ezra and the Noti start moving, and that’s with the delay of her being in the World Between Worlds, recuperating, communing with the Purrgil etc.), I guess we can surmise Ezra and Thrawn’s trip wouldn’t have taken that long either given that the Chimaera was being towed by the Purrgil too. I’d love a book from Timothy Zahn exploring this period.

For those unhappy wjth the prospect of Enoch in the Night Trooper BP, I get that it does limit the troop builder aspect but I feel like this is the only way we’ll get him at this point. It would’ve been different if budget had been allocated this year for one larger location set with named characters and a smaller BP to accompany it the way they did with the Mandalorian Season 3 sets in June.

Although personally, I’d have been happy with a larger ‘Raiders of Peridea’ set where we could’ve gotten some Night Troopers, Raiders, and perhaps a second attempt at Baylan Skoll with a recoloured Hawkeye hairpiece, shoulder armour etc.

I highly doubt the ARC-170 and Plo’s JSF are the only RotS system sets next year, as much as TPM got minimal coverage in that area this year, RotS is simply more popular across the board.

Just an assumption on my part, although it’d make more sense to base it on TCW. Hopefully his newly moulded head isn’t just a slight update to the old one from over a decade ago.

Rubbery parts aren‘t that common anymore, so I assume they‘ll create an entirely new piece for him

I hadn't even thought of that, if those are the only two RotS sets for 2025 that'd be genuinely hilarious.

It would have been cool to get some other more distinctly RotS stuff next year, but I feel like it's been pretty well-served over the years so I guess I can't be too disappointed. I'm sure there will be more in the future too of course. As others have said before, there is so much material there for dioramas if that line isn't dead.

It could be either, the only way to even tell would be the choice of Astromech. R7 is more "iconic" because of course he is, but I like R4-F5's color scheme more.

Pairing it with the ARC-170 makes sense, imo. Why ignore Order 66? They've already acknowledged it with the Kelleran Beq  set.

I’m not feeling particularly as hyped for the upcoming waves as I was the last few years.

That's still way more than what the 1HY sets of 2021 (and arguably 2022) had to offer

Honestly as 1HYs go this isn't as bad as the january leak suggested. Still waaaaay too heavy on the 18+ (Or just too scattered? If all the system ones were in January, it wouldn't be too dissimilar from what we used to get). 

Honestly, as dumb as it sounds, I do think all the 18+ sets would be easier to swallow if the 1HY system sets were all January, and the 18+ ones were all May.  It creates a clearer expectation of what we're gonna get.

I like it! It fits really well. If there’s not a giant transforming Mandalorian knight mech in The Mandalorian & Grogu, we riot. Just image the set!

 

 There’s supposedly a microscale build of Gasgano’s Podracer with purchases of $65+ on LEGO Star Wars products at Walmart. I’m not sure when the promo starts, but that’s neat. 
 

Also, my friend found a LEGO Star Wars book at Costco (in the US) for $17.99 that comes with the AAT polybag, U-3PO, and the 25th Anniversary Darth Maul.

Late to the party but the Barge is such a tough one for me. It took me ages to drop the money for the Cantina which was way more up my alley. I'd really like the skiff guards and Max Rebo to add to my 2013 Barge but seems like the aftermarket might stay high for ol' Max after all...

You know. I wonder what would have happened Lego-wise if Disney hadn’t scrapped all those Clone Wars episodes during the acquisition. I feel like we’d have definitely gotten a Captain Rex Y-Wing based off the cancelled Top Gun inspired arc.

Honestly I’d have preferred that to the Martez sisters arc we ended up getting.

 

We might even have potentially gotten some Yuhzon Vong figs.

I've always wondered what sets we could've gotten if Disney didn't buy Star Wars. Probably would've gotten a couple more years of clone wars sets and sets based off 1313 and the Darth maul video game, would've been a lot better than 5 years of sequel sets.

Would have been lovely if they didn't buy it, the Fandom wouldn't be in such a mess that it is now and all the lore breaking and pushing rubbish in, also the franchise is dead now, it can not be fixed sadly, Mandalorian might be the only thing left that MIGHT do ok, it's sad but what can you do
