Sidon Ithano.

A Sidon Ithano fan in the wild?!

If they did do a set with him I’d hope they’d include Kix as well.

Seeing how Lego didn’t do sets for Tales or TBB seasons 2 and 3, has Lego just quit making sets for new animated content? (that isn’t YJA)

I’m just wondering as I recently remembered that Lucasfilm animation is currently cooking up an untitled SW project. Maybe that’ll release in 2025?

I don't think it's a surprise that the Tales series didn't get any sets - they were essentially shorts, so probably don't have much commercial appeal.

Since the Marvel and DC sets have been leaked, when can we see leaked pictures for Star Wars ?

Any day! There are still some other themes that haven‘t leaked at all (City, Minecraft, Jurassic World) and others only have partially (Harry Potter). There are no rules

To clear things up this guy's other post is in the future set wishlist threat saying he wants a Sidon Ithano figure- I don't think he's trying to hint at anything I think this is just a Sidon Ithano fan (Welcome to eurobricks, by the way! Sidon Ithano would make a pretty cool profile picture for your account)

Plus Ninjago is their in-house golden goose. They can do whatever they want with that theme

In what sense? Four characters are included in both sets, Han and Chewy are available in the Sarlacc Pit set, and the other three figs in Jabba‘s Palace wouldn‘t make sense in any other set.

Well for one reason, all but one were knew at the time, addition to that a couple of them for not even present at the scene or had minimum exposure. Lego do tend to be both less inclined to introduce new figures as they have previoudly done.

Instead of just doing Rebels vs. Empire again, the Sequels should have made the good guys the New Republic (rather than the ragtag Resistance) and the First Order a neo-Imperial insurgent group that grows in power over the course of the trilogy (similar to the Separatists in that respect).

In the (new canon) book Bloodline there's that sort of vibe, it would have been a more interesting direction for the sequels definitely.

@Mandalorianknight You asked a while back if when I mentioned Ransolm Casterfo was he the guy from this book, and yeah he's who I meant (not entirely sure if I spelt his name correctly).

I still think he'd have been a perfect pick for an anniversary fig, especially over someone like Nein Numb who could have appeared in almost any RotJ rebellion set.

Honestly the anniversary figures were kinda weird choices aside from Malak and QT-KT (though she should've been R2-KT).

Nien Nunb could be in a RotJ Falcon once the current one retires, or any set of a Rebel or Imperial ship which appeared at Endor. They've made General Lando twice, they can make Nien.

Young Leia was not something anyone was really asking for, but she could've been in the Kenobi vs Vader duel set a couple years ago. At this point I think most of us are happy to forget Kenobi happened anyway.

Cal Kestis should've been in a Fallen Order or Survivor set. "B-But they don't want to make sets for..." They made BD-1, they can make playsets. The Jedi games are no more violent than Battlefront, and those games got sets. They're certainly not more violent that The Force Unleashed which got 2 sets.

Also the Cal figure has a bunch of details wrong since for some reason they based him on old concept art images, despite the game being 5 years old at this point, and that's not to mention him not having a poncho or the BD-1 figure. I guess making things the wrong colour and missing key details is pretty par for the course with LEGO at this point.

Agreed, and even Fives could have been in a CW set. I think Leia and Cal kind of make sense from Lego's perspective, in so far as that they probably just aren't interested in making any more sets for either of those series, but they still FEEL like something we probably could have got from dedicated sets (in the case of Leia, back when the show aired). I think most of the anniversary figures are pretty good and they're certainly better than nothing, they just feel like odd choices. I guess Lego likely wanted to strike a balance between "unlikely to appear in a dedicated set" and marketability, but it still feels like there's room for improvement to me.

Lol I forgot about Fives but yeah he could've been in a TCW set, though at the same time he is a little more understandable since they aren't making as many TCW sets now. The bigger issue with him is the terrible helmet, missing kama and wrong-coloured legs.

Yeah- I've read the book ( I remember thinking it was OK) I just couldn't remember if that was his name.

I hope that the U-Wing will have a troop capacity of at least 4 figures. And that it does indeed come with Dedra.

I do too, but unfortunately, since the last one could barely fit 4 in the bay, if this one's the same price after 8 years, half of which was during monumental inflation and lego's own price increases... it'll either be super chibi, or I worry we'll be lucky to fit two guys in the bay.

But at the same time, LEGO techniques have come on leaps and bounds since even then. IIRC the Andor set was surprisingly roomy for its size?

But not very sizey for its price, and it didn't include much in the way of troops to fill up that room :(

I feel that an AT ST is very likely. Whilst some sort of Tie is inevitable.

We've had all major on-screen imperial Ties recently except the Tie Advanced, so I'd guess that? I would like if they did one of the non-OT imperial on screen Ties like the Tie Reaper, Defender, Striker or mining Guild Tie.

@Agent Kallus
Same. But the Guild Tie is probably on the bottom rung of possibility.

A Reaper would be awesome. Especially if it was a counterpart to the upcoming U-Wing.

Anyone else think it’s a bit unfair for SW fans to not have been given a release window for Andor season 2 whilst all of Marvel’s 2025 shows have now been given release date.

They had better not keep the trailer behind closed doors until SW celebration. I need some good SW content.

I do agree that the guild tie is the least likely of ones I listed though TLG do sometimes surprise us and pull things out of left field. Though the Minifigures would be another point against it as all the others mentioned could just use a tie pilot plus some reused imperial troops, whereas you'd need mining Guild operatives for the mining guild tie to make sense and I don't see TLG using a minifig slot on that.

Another Tie they probably won't do would be Sabine's masterpiece from season 1 of rebels. Would be interesting to see though.

An imperial set I'd actually like to see more than any Tie would be Last/le gunship. Which thanks to it's appearance in Ashoka ( ABC that setting it as part of Thrawn's fleet so that it has a live action precedent so it'll likely show up again in the so-called Mando-verse) seems quite possible.
