And we now have other licensed themes like Harry Potter to compare to. I'm also still not over Jabba's Sail Barge having half as many figures as we got in the Cantina, and the Cantina itself would probably have more figures if it was, say, a Marvel set. Quote

Last year, the list leaked on Tuesday the 21st - three days before Black Friday. If this year is like that, then we may not know which specific sets are on sale until the 26th (Thanksgiving/Black Friday are late this year). Quote

Yeah but still twice as many as the Barge, which also doesn't have any arm prints, has many figures without leg prints, and the only one with dual-moulding made it kind of a downgrade in some aspects. A lot of the sets on the shelves when I was getting into Star Wars Lego were £40 or £50 for either one minifigure or if you were lucky two copies of a generic minifigure Quote
R0Sch Posted November 15, 2024 Posted November 15, 2024 (edited) They really made the whole thing supported on one single off-center Technic pin. Pretty sure this is "stressing the elements". P.S. I updated my Studio model: Gasganos_podracer.io Partlist available on rebrickable here, total cost on PaB 21€ Edited November 15, 2024 by R0Sch added links Quote

Gasgano's Podracer was always my favorite but I wasn't able to get the promo while it was available. Edited November 16, 2024 by ToaDraco Quote
CloneCommando99 Posted November 17, 2024 Posted November 17, 2024 (edited) Do we reckon that the U-Wing will have a single pilot’s seat or double? January leaks should be any day now. The amount of leaks other themes are receiving is getting rather agitating. Edited November 17, 2024 by CloneCommando99 Quote

The 2016 one had a single seater and this one's cheaper even before inflation, isn't it? I feel like we usually get the star wars leaks around Thanksgiving/end of november, so we might have another few weeks to wait. 58 minutes ago, BrickBob Studpants said: Poor Jurassic World doesn‘t even have set names yet, so it could be worse That's crazy- I can't think of any other times a full theme didn't even have set NAMES this close to release. CloneCommando99 Posted November 18, 2024 Posted November 18, 2024 If we do get Dedra Meero in the U-Wing. Would you prefer the overcoat or just normal officer uniform? Quote

Normal officer uniform for sure, would love to have a Dedra minifigure next to Yularen, Krennic and Thrawn. Also feel like the regular uniform makes more sense but guess it depends on what she's wearing in season 2 during the scene the U-Wing is from. Quote

Remember that we don't know if Dedra's in the set or not, so it's entirely possible that she is but never interacts with the U-wing in the show (Or just isn't in the set) Quote

The RotS sets are the ones I'm looking forward to most, especially the ARC-170. I hope this new one feels more solid and doesn't have an issue with the wings bowing like the previous ones. One plate of thickness simply doesn't withold the length and weight of the wings. Quote

Since the new one will be quite a bit smaller presumably, this should no longer be a concern! Quote

I want the normal officer uniform too, and I also really hope they don't go overboard with putting feminine features on as that'd make it less reusable. Quote
Swordy Posted November 19, 2024 Posted November 19, 2024 Not to be the little dark rain cloud, but is anyone else feeling apathetic about the news so far? Most of the sets are overpriced or just don’t excite me. ARC-170 comes closest, and it’s only three clone pilots being included, nobody like Kit Fisto. U-Wing seems undersized, and not much is known about the figures. Plo Koon’s starfighter seems promising. At least last year we had news of the Captain Rex microfighter, Moff Gideon V. Paz Vizsla, Tantive IV hallway, plus the 25th Anniversary figures. Even now, I’m more pumped about LEGO Marvel’s 1HY than LSW’s first waves of 2025. Quote

Yeah I definitely feel the same way, but bear in mind the timing of the 2024 summer set list was definitely an aberration - we don’t usually receive news on those so early. For 2021/2/3 I remember we only got details of the summer wave after January / February. I suspect the dominance of buildables will be lessened somewhat after June, and that’s when we’ll start to see more sets that are actually interesting. As things stand, the fact that we only know of Ahsoka’s Eta-2, ARC-170, Plo’s Delta-7, and U-Wing (and I suppose the Night Trooper BP?) so far isn’t really enough to generate that much excitement anyway - but it’s a decent start. Funny to think that before 2021, those 5 sets would have made for a January wave in themselves. Edited November 19, 2024 by Kaijumeister Quote

What three themes are you guys looking for most in SW sets next year? (Things you’d prioritise buying) For me it’s: Empire, Andor and Clone Wars. And that’s factoring in the no possibility of a Legends set. Edited November 19, 2024 by CloneCommando99 Quote

Unless it's got Kit Fisto in it. Then I'd be buying day one. Quote
