Max_Lego Posted November 21, 2024 Posted November 21, 2024 I don't think I like the new Jedi Interceptor. But this new set introduces new parts (located on the sides of the cockpit) that should make MOCing the Eta-2 easier (if appearing in yellow, dark red, dark blue, dark green, etc...). Minifigures are nice, Anakin finally doesn't have burns on his Jedi robes. A new R5-D4 minifigure SHOULD be a welcome and fine addition to anyone's collection, if better than the 2012 one Quote
Yperio_Bricks Posted November 21, 2024 Posted November 21, 2024 What's the price of the 4+ set? Quote

JohnTPT17 Posted November 21, 2024 Posted November 21, 2024 Ahsoka's Interceptor looks like a great $30 set - that is NOT a $50 set, though. I'm also very much in the minority for this, but I also have never really liked the midi-sized legs on 99% of figures, and I wish Ahsoka just had normal legs. And I also still don't like the pupilless eyes - I've gone as far as to get the old Clone Wars head to put on my Ahsoka. Still cursed, but at least now I feel like she can see... Quote
Agent Kallus Posted November 21, 2024 Posted November 21, 2024 Like the new TCW Ahsoka. I don't have an interceptor so I probs get this. Price seems bad though, might wait for a price reduction. I like that they made a new cockpit windshield but I do wish they'd just used that as an opportunity to scale the whole thing down. And then they could've included a little vulture droid too for that price. Anakin is kinda boring as an extra fig but he makes sense and is better than no-one. Quote
Clone OPatra Posted November 21, 2024 Posted November 21, 2024 Ok set, horrendous price. I like seeing a mid-legs Ahsoka personally, but how about go all out on the figures LEGO? They gave adult Ahsoka printed arms - why no printed arms for Clone Wars Ahsoka? And how about finally printing the silver metal bands of Anakin's big glove? After that awesome Mace with printed arms I was really looking forward to getting more super highly detailed Clone Wars Jedi, but alas. Quote
Swordy Posted November 21, 2024 Posted November 21, 2024 (edited) Ha! They think they’ll get me to buy their dinky overpriced N-1 by throwing in R5-D4. As if! (As long as he isn’t $15 on Bricklink, anyway. 0_o) The Jedi Interceptor looks fantastic, although it’s still chronically oversized. Is the scale disparity to compensate for the LEGO astromechs’ larger scale? Anyway, a slightly different cockpit was an unnecessary expense, especially if that’s what contributed to the $45 price tag. Funny how Speed Champions is leading the way in terms of new detailing pieces (and building more compact). I wish we could’ve gotten a smiling Anakin head (there goes my great theory of a potential reuse in the Ewok Village), and he looks more fit for TCW than for RotS.(I fear he’ll be reused in several upcoming RotS sets, is all.) Ahsoka looks great; dark red is a choice, but one I don’t mind, and she has mid-legs at long last! Head looks suspiciously similar to her adult head from 2023, though. Shorter headtails are extremely welcome. Wish R7’s head dome was a new print, but, alas, it comes from some Fornite set. So, in both cases, they bait us collectors with cool astromechs in overpriced sets. (Ahsoka, who?) At least the Interceptor doesn’t have dinky little engines tacked onto it. Appreciate the Easter eggs in the midi-Home One. $70 is a tad overpriced, especially compared to the Invisible Hand, which is $50, and of similar compact size, though 3 cm shorter. CloneCommando99 Posted November 21, 2024 Posted November 21, 2024 (edited) Interceptor Great design Good figs Utterly horrendous price. Home One Good. I really like the small Nebulon B at the side. Mando’s 4+ N-1 I get it’s a 4+ set but that’s a god awful design. I was hoping this would turn out like the A-Wing. Edited November 21, 2024 by CloneCommando99 Quote
Meaf Posted November 21, 2024 Posted November 21, 2024 I pretty much agree with everyone else, looks like a nice set but it feels very expensive for what it is. Even once it goes on sale it'll probably still sting a bit, but I might end up getting since I would really like a pre-CW s7 Ashoka and a new Anakin would be nice too. 2 minutes ago, Clone OPatra said: I like seeing a mid-legs Ahsoka personally, but how about go all out on the figures LEGO? I'm not one to complain about minifigure detailing too much but I would really prefer they keep it consistent at least, and given how exorbitant the price is here, surely extra printing wouldn't be that big of an ask? To be fair, SC has been doing that for a long time. IMO they're still some of the best value for money if you want cool building techniques at an affordable price. Quote

SC have the absolute most advanced designs amongst mainstream official sets Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted November 21, 2024 Posted November 21, 2024 The new cockpit piece looks neat and Ahsoka with mid-legs is very much welcome! The Home One model does its job very well ^^ The 4+ set is a 4+ set. Quote
THELEGOBATMAN Posted November 21, 2024 Posted November 21, 2024 The sets look good, but when did 45€ become the standard for models with not even 300 pieces? Horrendous pricing. Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted November 21, 2024 Posted November 21, 2024 Also, Marrok is the First Brother now! The other guy has lost his name again, after being misnamed in the encyclopedia. Whoopsie. Hopefully the ARC-170 is among the next batch of leaks! Quote
ToaDraco Posted November 21, 2024 Posted November 21, 2024 I love Ahsoka's ETA-2! The new cockpit design is refreshing but The jury is out on if it's better or not. The ship overall appears slightly bigger than the last but not enough to justify the price. The figures all look great but I'm definitely disappointed that they didn't use this as an excuse to include the armored Anakin design. Also, I'll be surprised if R7 has back printing. That should be a standard for astromechs at this point. I really like how Home One came out and the easter eggs inside are so great! Hopefully the ARC-170 pictures drop soon. Quote
Displayedaction Posted November 21, 2024 Posted November 21, 2024 Ahsokas interceptor looks nice the cockpit piece looks really good and vibrant the only complaint about the ship I’d have is the curved gray pieces on the back of the windshield kind of throw off the look a bit.I guess because it goes from super detailed to nothing at the back which is accurate I think but it looks kind of off in this form.Really like the figures was hoping they’d update anakins hair piece but i guess that would make more sense for a ROTS based version. Quote
Llewop Posted November 21, 2024 Posted November 21, 2024 The interceptor looks great. Definitely new design across the board not just the cockpit. The missiles are at the back now and look like they can be taken off without effecting the design, looks like a few new pieces on each wing. Not sure how much it’ll be GBP yet? Has it been confirmed dollar and euro prices don’t always mean it’ll be the same in pounds it’s odd Lego price it randomly. I know it’s a 4+ set but really that Mando set should be cheaper for what it is. Kind of want the R5 figure though Do hope we get the ARC images soon, we are getting images for March sets on Reddit what sets are we rumoured to get for March? Or is it just January and May/June wave for the 1HY? Quote
Flawless Cowboy Posted November 21, 2024 Posted November 21, 2024 The new windscreen piece on the Ahsoka fighter is incorrectly/inaccurately attached to the front windshield piece, something every version since 2005 got right. Quote
TheScaryDoor Posted November 21, 2024 Posted November 21, 2024 (edited) First I was disappointed when I saw the Home One but it is growing on me more and more 🙂. Edited November 21, 2024 by TheScaryDoor Quote
Balrogofmorgoth Posted November 21, 2024 Posted November 21, 2024 Absolutely love Ahsoka’s Jedi Interceptor!!! Figures look amazing. We’re finally getting an Anakin that doesn’t have the clone armor plate or burn marks on the torso. It’s the perfect Anakin print. And that Ahsoka is perfection, although the old TCW lekku piece was more accurate to this version than this reused Ahsoka show version. But the printing on it looks great and overall it doesn’t look bad at all Quote
CloneCommando99 Posted November 21, 2024 Posted November 21, 2024 I hope we see the ARC 170 soon. I also hope we get some more details on the U-Wing and the June wave soon as well. Quote
Balrogofmorgoth Posted November 21, 2024 Posted November 21, 2024 Would have been nice for it to include ARC Jesse for that price though. Just now, CloneCommando99 said: I hope we see the ARC 170 soon. I also hope we get some more details on the U-Wing and the June wave soon as well. Yeah I’m super excited to see the ARC-170. Although I already know I’ll be disappointed in the size, kinda like the Sith Infiltrator Quote
CallumPears Posted November 21, 2024 Posted November 21, 2024 Can't tell for certain, but is Anakin missing his scar? We don't have good-quality pictures showing that side of his face in full yet so hopefully it is there. Also yeah the new cockpit piece is inaccurate with how the circular windscreen attaches, and the set as a whole is severely overpriced. I'm liking the Home One but would again need a very good discount. Wonder if either of R7 or R5 will have back print. It really should be the standard (really they should've been doing it for a decade by now) but we know they like to skimp on that sort of thing. Quote
