Next magazine gift after the Shocktrooper will be plain old Chewbacca. Not particularly interesting as I have more than one of him and I don't think of him as massable but this is showing a promising trend of magazines having figs more often than not.

When I used to get the magazines as a kid the gifts were always builds. Did Lego finally realise that kids would rather get minifigures in their magazines?

Just curious, has there ever been a minifig exclusive only to the magazine? 

I collect all SW sets so getting an extra fig that I already have is less desirable than getting a unique brick built vehicle or creature. Acklay is a good example. 

Anyway, I'm not a kid anymore...or am I?😄

No, they always tend to be minifigures that come from the more mass produced sets. E.g. Shock Trooper and Darth Maul from the Mandalore Throne room.

I must be behind in the U.K. we’ve still got the Mando fleet commander on the shelves in shops. How come people know 3 months ahead. It’s great we’re getting more figures. I wonder what other figures we could get this year

They had Palpatine in shops near me from last week. It's a new issue every 4 weeks, but I think Germany gets thier new issue before we do, and then the shopworkers see it before the public but if a German shopworker shares it then we know long before it'll be out in the UK, but IMO it's nice to know in advance. Makes it easier to look out for the more interesting ones.

Mainland Europe ones are a month ahead, but the Mandalorian Fleet Commander is 2 issues before the Shock Trooper. My local shops have had Palpatine for a while now. .

What are the chances that they ever release another Darkness on Umbara Lego set? In Clone Wars that string of episodes was so impactful. I’d love to get more 501st troopers trying to arrest General Krell. The other set that I don’t think they’ve visited recently is another Siege of Mandalore. After The Mandalorian season 3 it would be timely to have a set with Darth Maul’s Mandalorian troops. We got Gar Saxon a couple of years back and almost 10 years ago a pair of elite Mandalorian troopers but that was soooooo long ago. I’d love an army builder with troops for the recent Aśoka’s troopers battle pack to fight. Also a minifig of Jesse wouldn’t go amiss.

Sets that would I would like to see from this arc:

£10-15 minifigure scale 501st AT RT with: 501st ARF Trooper, Sargent Appo and Umbaran Soldier.

£140 search light republic gunship with At RT deployment play feature. Figs would be: Anakin, Rex, Tup, Dogma and 2 501st pilots.

£50 Umbaran star fighter with: Pong Krell, Jesse, Hardcase and Umbaran Soldier.

White Vader has leaked, looks alright but not the best, they should have printed the eyes but oh well.

I’ve seen it. Are we really sure that’s the real thing? Cause remember the Kaminoan Minidoll debacle of 2022? Also,isn’t it a bit early for Lego to start production of August sets?

Looks fake to me. Also if it’s light Vader surely he wouldn’t have a red sabre also that figure whoever built it committed the sin of putting the blade the wrong way round 😂

The guy that posted it is kind of reliable, he only talks about real leaks on youtube so.

On reddit it is noted that the cape and the lightsword were added by the leaker and might be different in the set.

Looks alright, I think using light bluish gray for most of the details is an interesting choice. That said, if this is real I think the lack of arm printing confirms this probably isn't one of the Anniversary figures, as so far those seem to get more detail and effort than the average figure rather than less on Vader here.

Haha yep

However, I think that's probably very close to what the figure will end up looking like. I'd love printed eyes, but looking back with how some of the box art last year showed him with the proper reddish eyes, but no such matching prints, I personally don't see it happening for this upcoming minifig either

Yeah, well I think we can be happy about it, because IMO it didn´t look that great.

Yep, turned out the White Vader is real, but a real misprint/prototype. It's a part of the leaker/seller's personal collection of colored Vaders,but they posted the white one alone to their story last night!

Yeah looked like standard Vader's print printed onto a white body. No surprise that is not legit, the account that I saw the picture from also had a fake bly fig and the tremortusk.

The tremortusk is such a good way to tell if an account is fake because for some reasons so many fake leakers left that one up even after hiding other fake leak posts.

 

All that said, white vader'll probably look more or less like that anyway.

Not sure what you saw, but this is the source! They don't have any sets posted- they just post/sell figures from a LEGO factory. The most recent fig leak we've gotten from them is *removed*
