Octuptarra Magna Tri-droid MOC

There are several good versions of the Magna out there. I wanted one that could both stand on its own and be posable. I immediately thought of Technics and decided some compromises in look and color were OK to achieve these other attributes. I tried many joints. The rotation disks were the only ones strong enough. One trick was making the "head" as light as possible. It's mostly air and a little weak. All-in-all, though, the whole model is definitely tough enough for posing.

Very nice! This really gets the monsterous scale of the droid across. The head is definately a little odd still, but it's understandable to keep the weight down. The stance in the legs is done very well.
