the Inventor Posted December 1, 2023 Posted December 1, 2023 (edited) I believe Steampunk should be posted here? Here's my new MOC, Smith's & co. steamworks: The brothers Smith, specialize in repairing and creating small steam powered engines for airships. Currently they are working on repairing an engine of a small Imperial Scout Schip (see: https://flic.kr/p/2nVMcHC) ~ A year has passed, since last time, and Lily is back in the Imperial city, back from her third visit to uncle Willard on the Iron Point Beacon a lighthouse near an important trading city of the Low Islanders (see https://flic.kr/p/2nUDs9z). ~ The Imperial City Guard is doing his rounds around the craft and harbor districts in the Imperial City. (see also: https://flic.kr/p/2nTWfSd). Rubblemaker Posted December 1, 2023 Posted December 1, 2023 Wow! That is so well executed from outside to inside. I could stare at that for hours. So much to see. I particularly love the ragged stonework on the ground outside. Looks really natural and contrasts the smooth interior ground tiling. But everything about it is fantastic. Beautiful moc. 👏👏 Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted December 1, 2023 Posted December 1, 2023 Wow gorgeous construction, great choice of colours! I like the creeper outside. The interior details of the laboratory are phenomenal! Quote
Yperio_Bricks Posted December 1, 2023 Posted December 1, 2023 Wonderful workshop with all those tools and stuff! I also like the upside down lanterns and knight's helmets and also the red and green vine. And i love the cobblestone technique with the 1X1X2/3 plates with bow! Quote
JintaiZ Posted December 2, 2023 Posted December 2, 2023 Nice design and choice of colors! The interior details are amazing! Quote
the Inventor Posted December 2, 2023 Author Posted December 2, 2023 Thank you all for the great comments. Quote
GeoBrick Posted December 2, 2023 Posted December 2, 2023 Great colour scheme here. The dark green accentuates perfectly with the brick walls, roof. And the yellow leaves on the boardwalk tree. The beautifully tiled workshop floor has just the right mix of pattern and utility feel, and the designs offer sufficient attachment points for the workers and equipment benches and other tools. The scene looks busy without it having an overly cluttered feel. Which leaves me with only one practical question: can the side gate open? There seems to be enough space on the side wall. Quote
The Undo Posted December 15, 2023 Posted December 15, 2023 Great MOC and great attention to details! I love it. Quote
Jeff of Clubs Posted December 19, 2023 Posted December 19, 2023 I love this thing! It's brimming with inspiration and character. I'm developing a bad itch for some steampunk. Quote
