It looks quite useful. Even just for rigidly connecting two parallel liftarms it is quite handy, while the additional hole brings plenty of further possibilities.

That was my second thought indeed :)

Wonder if this is the same 'small beam' mentioned to be in the space sets in the interview video. Other than that, I don't yet know how useful this part would be, never found myself needing something like exactly this.

You could also get a ton of these, stack them on the longer axles and possibly build a custom linear actuator.

Looks like a handy part! I can see it being used as a hub for unsteered independent suspensions for small models that don't/can't use 3-pin hubs, but then probably anything that small/skinny can't really use CV joint-style suspensions anyways.

Also, in some cases it could work like the lower left part in this image from @gyenesvi's Technic Parts We Would Find Useful thread, though of course in many cases it wouldn't.

Yeah, maybe sometimes, but I often find that part needed in very tight places where this new one would be too big. Still have to see where it would be useful for me.

I never thought about that! Cause 3pin hub is longer than this part, I think it is still useful for car which use 56908 wheel and maybe if we use half stud thick beam like 5L or 7L, it also can work as suspended steering with driving hub.(Mustang's 5 spook 30x20 wheel will not fit)

Huh, good point! I'd be a bit worried to use it on a bigger wheel, though, just because having only one stud of axle engagement with a standard CV joint wouldn't give much grip.

How are you thinking of doing the suspended/steered hub with that?

Like this(new part highlighted in lime) but unlike my first thought wheel position is same with 3pin hub and in those setup suspension movement is very small cause 1x3 half thick beam will rub suspension arm. Maybe it only useful for non-suspended axle or live axle setup.

Most likely if the element was designed in 2022. Only the flagship models take so long to develop. And if the 28T gear was recolored maybe a yellow supercar is not that unrealistic.

Yellow supercar would be amazing because all the new yellow panels and parts could be used for yellow heavy duty construction vehicles :D

I don't want to spoil the fun and to go oftopic to much; but most known yellow supercars are Lamborghini cars (and we have one in 2020), but I would more then welcome narow yellow curved panel like the black ones on this years McLaren...

It's a bit puzzling - he rates the set at 5 stars for looks, but points out it barely matches the 1:1 model upon which it is based, the stickers don't color match, the tires are wrong, the use of blue pins, the black distractions on the roof and the one side of the harvester gears turning in the wrong direction (the latter being a functional issue, but also a visual when in operation). With all these detractors, it's puzzling that he didn't rate it 3 or 4 stars instead of 5. Otherwise a fair review and as @Maaboo the Witch points out, supports what many have already stated.

To be fair, he did give it a 2/5 for Authenticity (which I think was a bit generous). I mean, it looks alright - aside from the blue pins it's reasonably attractive even if it doesn't really resemble the real thing.
