I think, in real build it won't look like dog ears, and You can try to fill that gab below that small curved panel with halfbeam.

I've decided that I'll go with the liftarm solutions. After trying many arrangements I finally found one that works.

In this case, it looks like You will need to find some aligned solution how to fix upper part of A-pilars to the roof.

Turning sets from other themes into technic sets seems fun. I'm looking for other sets like the Ornithopter to Technic-ify. The main criteria is that it should have Technic functions in a body of System bricks.

I'm having my eye on the 21327 Typewriter, but I'd like to receive some suggestions as I'm not very familiar with other themes.

You did a good job with the ornithopter, how about an AT-AT? Or maybe the temple from the first ninjago season, it had some fun moving elements if I remember correctly. Or perhaps some little mech set, there's been plenty of them in the past.

Im not really a fan of Star Wars or Ninjago. I'd prefer something from Creator Expert, Ideas, or Icons.

I already have a WIP for it, and development may resume next year the earliest, since it can be built right on top of a current mini 42xxx in development

Okay... I don't think there were any sets after 2013 that we're representing 6x6 off-road stuff, apart from 42139.

Even though I already have this many things to work on I procrastinated and whipped up TWO new Mini 42xxx and this.

Even I already did DB5 on TC20, Icons Ecto-1 and DB5 will good. Or how about 10302 optimus prime and 10338 bumblebee?

And if you can do it, I highly interested on 21323 grand piano.

These are essentially buildable figures and not Technic at the core.

Im not really interested in the Ecto 1. You already did at an excellent job with the DB5 and I dont think I can do any better or different.
