JoeMI6 Posted July 28, 2008 Posted July 28, 2008 The Dark Knight continues the series in a spectacular way. It's not just a great comic book movie, nor is it possibly just the best film of this year. It is probably one of the greatest films I have ever seen. 10/10 I didn't have any problems with it, and I think that is is just a superb piece of a work. As a matter of fact, I'm seeing it at least twice more. After seeing it at 11am on day of release, I'm going to watch it again tomorrow and then I'm seeing it in Imax on August 27th Quote

Seriously though, I agree. I watched it twice and it is better the second time. Batbrick Away! Quote
JoeMI6 Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 Quiet you To be fair though, I was happy that I was able to go into the cinema not expecting the best movie ever. It just made it even better, Quote
hewkii9 Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 (edited) The Joker and Two-Face, and a whole bunch of Batman mobsters. And Scarecrow has a cameo. It took me a bit to realize 'oh wait that is Cillian Murphy!' Edited August 10, 2008 by hewkii9 Quote
Zaktan of the Shadows Posted August 15, 2008 Posted August 15, 2008 I'm going to watch it again in IMAX. This movie is amazing. Greatest movie this year, quite possibly greatest in the world. ~Air Spirit Quote
VBBN Posted August 24, 2008 Posted August 24, 2008 Just saw it and Hancock, and damn was it good! Two face and joker rocked. And rumor is, that the next batman movies will Batman and Nightwing vs. Riddler, and Batamn and Robin vs. Penguin and Bookworm. Quote

The Penguin Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 i've just watched it in the cinema. it's AMAZING! ) Far better than I've expected! Joker and Two-Face are something ingenious.... Plus to that I like the fact that there was no less philosophy than in the first one! ) The only thing that puzzles me is what happened to Harvey Two-Face? What do you think, gentlemen? Did they conseal the truth about him, or he's really dead? Any ideas? ) Good day, gentlemen! ) Quote
hewkii9 Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 He's dead. Gotta be, so that we can have Kristen Bell and David Tennant as Harley Quinn and the Riddler. Quote
trooperdavinfelth Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 He's dead. Gotta be, so that we can have Kristen Bell and David Tennant as Harley Quinn and the Riddler. Honest to goodness, those posters don't look that great. Harley looked OK in the first pic on that site but the next one doesen't really resemble her at all. Catwoman, OK, I guess. The Riddler just doesen't look right. He needs a little eye mask, not glasses, and a suit covered in question marks. Or at least his hat should be. Quote

Personally, I think Catwoman looks like a guy. Harley looks great in my opinion [go Kristen Bell!], but the second image doesn't work. But I don't see why realistic-Riddler would bother sewing a bunch of question marks on his suit. And the reason he's wearing glasses is because that David Tennant image is from a Doctor Who promo. It's crazy, which is what that Riddler is, so I think you're mistaking the realistic with the everyday, which would totally dilute the Riddler. Batbrick Away! Quote
The Penguin Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 so I think you're mistaking the realistic with the everyday 100% true! ) So the question goes to Nolan: " Why is the Penguin not a realistic character,eh!?" Quote
Lord Thrawn Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 I'm lucky enough to be able to see the movie again with my good friend JoeMI6 at the IMAX in London tomorrow, should be immense! Anyone else seen it there or at another IMAX? Quote
