7199: The Temple of Doom:

What for a giant set. I still love it, since I saw the first picture. And now we get there great figures, too.

The railway and the temple are nice, I hope I can sliding the wagons on the rails. To this awesome figures,

like Indy (with another head), Willie (another hairs like in the Shanghai Chase) and the best Mola Ram, who have an great ''crown''.

~Must buy~

The new Willie hair is not from the Shanghai Chase set it is a new color of an existing mold of the Marion Ravenwood hair.

I wonder if those little trans-orange pieces that are meant to be the sankara stones are still prelim.

Wouldn't it be great if we would get a highly detailed piece similar to the gold idol in the temple escape set? :classic:

Wow, these new Indy sets are really great!

I've been rather disappointed at the previous sets in this theme even though Indy and I share the same profession  I've only picked up The Lost Tomb and River Chase so far. But this year will be different for sure! Here are my thoughts about the sets:

Ambush in Cairo: My favourite  The minifigs are brilliant! I don't care much about the faces because they are flesh, it's the torsos and head gears that are the real deal for me. The turban and ninja scarf are really useful for arabian/asian guys which have been very hard to make before.

The market stand is also very nice and the accessories are really good. I might get doubles of this set...

Chauchilla Cemetery Battle: Not so sure about this one. I like the cementery because it has a lot of useful parts but the minifigs are rather lame IMHO. Indy and Mutt has the same torsos as before and the two other guys are to similar to each other. If the price is right I will buy this one.

Venice Canal Chase: Looking good :sweet: The fez will be very useful and I love Elsa's new hairpiece. The boats are also nice although I will most probably not keep them built. The bridge contains some useful parts to. I will buy this set for sure.

Fighter Plane Attack: Nah, I have no use of planes so I will probably pass on this one. The minifigs doesn't seem to offer much either.

The Temple of Doom: Yes, please! This set is packed with great parts and minifigs! I'm very curious about those rails too. This set is a must buy - if I got the money :hmpf:

Does anyone know when we can expect these beauties in shops?

These new pics are awesome, but I've put in a note to Steve Witt to see if they can be posted. They are stamped "Confidential" but so was all the box art at Toy Fair. Let's see what he says. In the meantime, discuss away and...Wow! I would like to have that Temple of Doom now. The figures and new head molds are incredible. Excellent torsos and ramp tracks! Oh, this is such an amazing set! I can see a benefit from getting multiples and perhaps it will start a roller coaster trend among MOCers...

WOW! I'm just amazed by the great figures and the amount of them. There are really great and useful minifigures in these sets: the new headpieces (Mola Ram's helmet, fez, the return of the ninja scarfs, new blond hairpiece and a blond 'Hermoine' hairpiece), new heads (like, every head on the pictures!), new torso's (costumes, ripped t-shirt, muscled with a knife, Marion's outfit, ...)... Great additions to my Harry Potter universum! These are really awesome sets, I would love to get my hands on each and one of them, I hope it'll work.

Ah, it looks so, soo, fantastic.

AAAAAAAAArrrrrrrrrriba! Gorgeous! GOR-GEOUS! GAWJUS!!!

Loving the Cairo, Venice and Temple sets. The cemetary and planes don't make me jump, but the other three sets more than make up for that. Actually - it's a good thing I don't want ALL the sets. That'd get pricey. Definitely gonna buy Cairo and Venice, but I'm kind of waiting for TLC to put a price tag on Temple of Doom. It doesn't seem as elaborate as the Idol or Akator set... or am I mistaken?

Wow, i'm gonna get all of these! I especially love the temple of doom

If somebody has got such an awesome catalogue scan of the new castle sets, please tell me!

I asked for the ambush on cario set # but in your above post with yuor thights i found it thatnks anyway!

Is it just me, or does every new Indy set have a that new flesh tone? (Well, except the plane set)

Cairo: Swordsman and other dude

Venice: Brothers of the something something

Cemetary: Attacking people (With chainsaws? :sceptic: )

Temple of Doom: Mola Ram, mayby Thuggees.....

It only looks to be the guys wearing fezes(sp) in the cannal chaseWhich makes sense.

Where can I find the most recent pic of 7195 Ambush in Cairo?

I wonder if they might be some reincarnation of these: Electric, Light Bulb Cover .

They might light up when you put the third one in the mouth of the skull!

Word is the pictures are bad. Bad pictures! Bad pictures! I'm so dissapointed in those pictures for posting themselves when they were stamped. Those pictures should've known better!

Anyway, please don't post the pics here... Thanks.

I have a question:

Why are they illegal, because everyone could go to the Toy Fair events and shot some pics. I didn't really understand this...

And was this the answer from Steve?

But thank's for this information.

Greetings 'Bricks'

Yes, it was the answer from Steve.

My guess is that since it includes pics of the Temple of Doom which wasn't there... but, anyway that's the answer, so thanks for not posting them here.
