RoflWafls Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 I have two questions...In the Cemetary Chaunchilla Battle thing, is Mutt wearing glasses, or am I just going blind. And where is IJ's little shoulder pack thing? They left it out in two sets! I can understand the proffecer not having the shoulder thing and the fedora but what about chaunchilla? REALLY. alexrider7 Mutt does not have glasses in that picture. Lego will probaly add a man-purse () to Indy, because these are still prelim. Quote

In the Venice Canal Chase he hadn't one, because with the bag, he maybe couldn't sit in the ship. And in C.C. Battle it could be added, because these pictures aren't shwoing the end version! WookieeWarrior Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 I wonder if the Chauchilla cemetery warriors have double sided faces. LEGO seems to like doing this with the Indy line and that would be one less head version they have to worry with. Quote

LEGO seems to like doing this with the Indy line and that would be one less head version they have to worry with. Nice opinion! I'm really sure this fact is right and will be found in the set. That would be another great method from TLC, which is very healthy to decide if the figures should look very scary or just angry. So thank you for this nice though. Greetings 'Bricks' Quote
Scyzoryk Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 Please, don't post a over 30 sign word, do you know what I mean? And discussion about an Endor playset belongs into the Star Wars theme area! Please remind this You actually counted it? How sad. Quote
Duke of Derby-shire Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 I'm really impressed by the Temple, the Ambush, the Boat Chase, and I have no interest in the Cemetery battle or whatever, but I have to say, my most anticipated set, the Fighter Plane Attack, really disappoints. Very blocky, no color, very...bleh. Although, Elsa looks great, and so does Willie, Shorty, and better yet, Khazim! Mola Ram, from what I can see, looks accurate; the Thugees look nice, as does the Cairo swordsman, and again, I have no interest in the Cemetery one. Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 I'm really looking forward to the Temple of Doom. I'm curious if the mining car tracks are just long flexible rods, or something better (probably not). I'm a bit disappointed with the cemetery though. It should have been a lot larger and more detailed. Quote

Just imagine: ROLLER COASTERS!-Omi The tracks are great, but as pointed out in the Town & Train forum, they're smooth tracks, so it will only work for sliding down the tracks, unless we make an innovative system to pull the carts up again. JimBee Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 Uh, I just hope the new IJ-sets won't be as overpriced as the two that were already released. I still can't believe I paid 41 euros for five minifigs and two cars! I don't want to pay the same amount for four minifigs, two boats and a bridge... I had the exact feeling when I bought the Flying Wing yesterday... Sorry, I'm done ranting. Not sure if anybody's seen this yet. Nope, thanks. I'm loving all of the new molds and prints, TLG is being very generous this year. A few things to be noticed in the sets: - In the Cairo set, it seems that the Tommy Gun is still included. I know that these are prelim, but we can hope. The Samurai has an Orc sword, hopefully to be replaced with a Scimitar. Also note the golden dish on the market stand and the tan barrel (one of the raffle items in the Avatar raffle). There are lots of new prints in here as well, Marion's new face print being my favorite. Lastly, the bandit has that rare mask. - In the Venice chase, we get another Tommy gun, plus new prints, new hair, and new hats (forgot the name... ). It appears that "Marcus" turns out to be another Cruniform Sword member. - Note the black telescope pieces in the Plane Chase. - There are also lots of new prints in the Temple of Doom set. Some include an alternate Willie torso, a new Indy head (my tall head senses Indy 4 MOCs!), and very detailed Mola Ram and minion torsos. That Ram headpiece looks amazing! I know that a few of these were pointed out before, but I'm just laying out what we know about the new pieces and prints. Great find! These look like finalised versions. Yes, but some things still may change (like the sword in the Cairo set). I'm really looking forward to more Indy; this line seems to be heading in the right direction. Quote
Omicron Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 the tan barrel (one of the raffle items in the Avatar raffle). The tan barrel in the Avatar raffle is a 2x2 barrel. The one in the Cairo set appears to be a 4x4. Note how Marion is in the barrel. -Omi Quote

hewkii9 Posted February 7, 2009 Posted February 7, 2009 I love that one has the skull face print while another completes the Pat Roach Indy character collection (I don't count the Blimp henchman since he was cut) So Harrison Ford, Alfred Molina, and Pat Roach all have minifigs of two of their characters now? On another note... WHAT THE J EDWARD FRAKKIN PANTS, LEGO Why must you make so many awesome sets? I said to myself, I'd just buy Castle, Pirates, and Space Police. Then these pics came out. And they are all too bloody terrific. I must get Cairo Ambush and Chauchilla Cemetery...must...and if I have the money after my other three themes and those sets I will get the Temple of Doom. Shame it doesn't have the full Kali Statue. Quote
