The Who Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 The price can't be real!!!! Those prices are terrible! It's not worth it. The price for Venice can't be right in my opinion... The Euro-prices are insane ... Well it seems the prices are going to be pretty bad. OK people. I think we all understand that prices are bad. Not trying to be a mod, but please try to discuss the sets now. Quote
hewkii9 Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 OK people. I think we all understand that prices are bad. Not trying to be a mod, but please try to discuss the sets now. Sets and their prices go hand in hand, though. Personally I just hope the Chauchilla cemetery is cheap-have we gotten a price on that yet? Quote

I know but many recent posts have been just about the prices, not the sets. And I'm not sure what the Cemetary price will be. @Oswald The Rabbit---I only see a standard snake on the ground, nothing on the 'shrine.' @Bricks---Thanks for those box pics! The ones I found a while back were bigger but preliminary for the most part. These look to be completely final. I'm glad we finally have a large barrel in a small set also. Quote
Derek Posted February 14, 2009 Author Posted February 14, 2009 Personally I just hope the Chauchilla cemetery is cheap-have we gotten a price on that yet? I think it is the same price as the Lost Temple and River Chase. Quote
hewkii9 Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 I think it is the same price as the Lost Temple and River Chase. Great, I was worrying that'd it'd be around $30, $26 is more manageable. So as to not bother Mr booger by only posting about cost, does anyone think that this would've made a better Mayan sword than a chainsaw blade? Quote
WookieeWarrior Posted February 15, 2009 Posted February 15, 2009 Man, these sets look great! And I LOVE Mutt's motorcycle. It looks great. Quote
Belloq Posted February 15, 2009 Posted February 15, 2009 Anyone notice the round flipping piece meant to represent the round wall that fell over, letting indy pass through to the graveyard? Nice looking bike Quote
Filip Posted February 15, 2009 Posted February 15, 2009 I just noticed that Henry Jones Sr is included in the plane set. Quote
jedikermit Posted February 15, 2009 Posted February 15, 2009 This makes me wish I didn't like Indy as much as I do. I know I'll end up with multiples of Cairo to get more thugs, but I wish I could afford to get multiples of Venice Chase and Temple of Doom too. Some great sets from great movie moments, with new figures and good vehicles...this line is all-win for me. Quote
Lego12 Posted February 15, 2009 Posted February 15, 2009 I found this on FlickR: http://www.flickr.com/photos/brickjournal/...878583/sizes/l/ Enjoy! Quote
hewkii9 Posted February 15, 2009 Posted February 15, 2009 Chauchilla Cemetery looks like it'll be affordable and awesome, a must get for me. Same for Cairo, [big purple piece and a Tommy gun?!!]. Quote
smiley905 Posted February 15, 2009 Posted February 15, 2009 wow that looks great, i love the new hat. i hope its a cheap set Quote
Bricks Posted February 15, 2009 Posted February 15, 2009 We get a new Indy head: Greetings 'Bricks' Quote
Ralph Posted February 15, 2009 Posted February 15, 2009 wow that looks great, i love the new hat. i hope its a cheap set Great pictures... only bad thing I see (actually dont see) is there is not "straight" track ... just curves and slopes... I wonder if straight track will be available? Ralph Quote
The Who Posted February 15, 2009 Posted February 15, 2009 I see a lime green snake atop the big skull. Loving that headress. Can't wait to see the finished colored one. Quote
jedikermit Posted February 15, 2009 Posted February 15, 2009 I love the new Indy face, but my favoritey-favorite is the tiny little minifig frowny face in the middle of Mola Ram's headdress. That's beautiful. Quote
Fluyt Posted February 15, 2009 Posted February 15, 2009 I see a lime green snake atop the big skull. Loving that headress. Can't wait to see the finished colored one. That's a normal green snake Judging from the material, the headress is not the final version, I hope not at least. The 2 dinosaur tail things seem to have 2 different colours , tan and white or something (+they are a different colour (green) on the box) Quote
Derek Posted February 15, 2009 Author Posted February 15, 2009 I will be getting the Cairo ambush, cemetary, and Venice set. That plane set is waaay too boring and expensive. Quote
Righteous Squid Posted February 15, 2009 Posted February 15, 2009 I just love the faces on the badguys in the cemetry set. Perfect for henchmen for The Scarecrow Quote
Tinn-man Posted February 15, 2009 Posted February 15, 2009 Link Is that purple? Looks like it, but I thought they discontinued that color. Quote
TheShnomon Posted February 15, 2009 Posted February 15, 2009 Anybody else finding Short Rounds face a bit frightening? That is a nice set, too bad it'll most likely be expensive as hell... Quote
The Who Posted February 15, 2009 Posted February 15, 2009 (edited) LinkIs that purple? Looks like it, but I thought they discontinued that color. Yes, it's purple. We've already confirmed the purple crisis is over and it's nothing to worry about. Edited February 15, 2009 by booger540 Quote
Thee Pirate Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 From FBTB's Ace: That's the hottest minifig torso ever! haha. Quote
