on a real note how are u deafblind and build lego?

I know it’s off topic but….I’m happy to answer your question!

As my vision is declining gradually, my family members and friends decided to help me build. They pick certain parts as we progress through manual instructions and guide my hands where parts should go. Iit’s like Support Service Provider (SSP) for deafblind people in USA. Additionally, unlike normal sign analgesic for sighted deaf people, we use protactile (PT) sign lanauge to communicate. In other word, it’s a hand-in-hand communication method to allow deafblind people understand what people are saying. PT helps deafblind understand more visually as people provide descpritions.

Persoanlly, I enjoy building Lego sets with my family and friends. Without their support, I would enter my dark age and shut Lego out of my life.

Friendly reminder dear LEGO friends: Keep on topic please and try to avoid conflict, it is supposed to be a hobby and hobbies should bring fun to our lives... The world is already full of venom without us adding to it I'm afraid.

This is a very heartwarming story. Thank you for sharing.

So is the theme. And yet we won't get Venom Horse in 2025.

Funko is doing Carnage themed characters, I pray Lego won't adapt this.

I can see it now, Carnage Car,Carnage Mech, Carnage Iron Man,Carnage Dinosaur and I don't know what else.

That brought a tear to my eye, I'm happy you can still enjoy Lego, It's a wonderful thing to build and display sets and have an interest in them :)

If that was me I'd give up, respect to you sir

I guess you could say, ''We are Venom'' ?

I misread that as „Venom House“, and now I don‘t know which would be the stupider set :laugh_hard:

@Lion King: Thank you for sharing your story! It‘s awesome your friends and family support you so you can still enjoy LEGO as a hobby

I agree with you, I'm sick of seeing Spider-Gwen and Miles in every set. I'd like to see Peter Parker's actual friends like the ones you listed as well as Harry Osborn, Liz Allan, etc. We've never gotten a minifigure of 616 Gwen Stacy (the Daily Bugle minifig is just a generic blonde character they named Gwen last minute) and we haven't had a proper MJ in forever.

Totally agree with everything, but emphasis on Gwen Stacy! She was done dirty in the Daily Bugle, truly wish we had the Lego Marvel Superheroes version of her produced in real life. So much of Spideys supporting cast is missing or barely represented in Lego. Shame, truly.

Well, I mean Miles and Gwen are basically the main characters of these films, ofcourse they're gonna be included. And thank God for that, we've waited years to finally get a set for these movies, these are some long overdue variants. I just kinda hope Gwen will be unmasked, or alternatively have some printing on the hood.

I agree, their inclusion in sets for Across the Spiderverse makes a lot of sense. I do not want to insinuate that they should not be present in sets for the film. Rather, I feel they are over represented in the theme as a whole. For sets based on said film, sure, include them. But overall. I think we get too many Miles and Gwen figures in Lego generally speaking. This complaint was more so aimed at the constant inclusion of those 2 in Lego these past few years, not so much just for this set. Yes, for a set based off of Across the Spiderverse, we should get Miles and Gwen, but did they need to be the supporting cast in EVERY set they've been a part of for the past 4-5 years? That's more so the point I was making :)

No idea why people keep bringing up Daily Plant, Baxter Building, and Oscorp when it’s evident the 2025 Modular Building should be Venomized Venom Tower featuring Venom.

As silly as the Venom horse is, the venomised T-Rex and the big 2019 Venom mech (?) are some of my favourite Spidey sets, so I could actually see that working as a set

The thing is, Venom-related sets can work, if they A) avoid the pointless mechs and vehicles in favour of cool venomised creatures and B) introduce more new characters rather than recycling the same old Spidey friends and foes.

For instance, Anti-Venom is a step in the right direction! …the venomised car is not

They could totally do a symbiote focused wave or even year, just use different symbiotes! There's SO many!

If kids like Iron Man Venom or Spider Ham Venom, dinosaur Venom (which they have to, because LEGO keeps making this stuff) then surely they'd like Riot, Toxin, Scream... even if they don't know who they are, it's just like oh, here's some different colour Venoms hahaha

I'd take a carnage dinosaur, that actually sounds cool.

I could see lego making a venomized building at some point. Even if it's just a side build or something.

YES. YES. KEEP TALKING. YES.

Venom's Hall of Venoms ($59.99): comes with 2x outrider, 4x venom (it's the same minifigure), a buildable venom (it's literally the 2019 igor build with black instead of blue and a different face). Build is an exact replica of the 2019 hall of armor, just with all parts in black.

Venomized Punisher or Venomized Deadpool are the only Venomized characters I'd accept at this stage

This is just a hypothetical, but I've noticed that every D2C recently has included figures from sets in January of that year. I haven't seen it mentioned, but is it possible we get Nueva York as a D2C next year?

If anything, since we are getting Avengers comic minifigures in January, I feel like we could get Avengers Mansion for the D2C next year.

Honestly given the state of both this theme and DC, I think the best bet might be to do a crossover. Batman vs Venomized Superman just makes sense.

In seriousness though, I also am not really opposed to the Venom stuff if they get whacky with it. Having a Venom Dragon or whatever is more interesting than Spider-Man's High Speed Passenger Railcar imo.

$40 mech two-pack with Venomized Carnage mech vs. Carnageized Venom mech confirmed!
Minifigs include Venomized Carnage and Carnageized Venom (standard Venom and Carnage with swappable parts), Anti-Venom (reused), and an exclusive Venomized Anti-Venom figure!

Earth-928 NYC, home of Spider-Man 2099 and location of the Spider Society’s headquarters in AtSV. Also, yes, it exists in the comics as well.

Is that not just Agent Venom? (iykyk)

I'm still so surprised we've never had an Agent Venom figure. He's Venom but with guns! What more do you need? Also He was prominent in the last couple seasons of Ultimate Spider Man, I'm sure if we had another wave in 2017 he would've been included, each year featured one of the SHIELD heroes from the show
