Ok, I know everybody is on the X-Mansion hype train, but damn, 4+ Spidey and Friends is gonna bring us some wonders in 2025 :

I saw @Lego_Minecraft_Goat reporting about them and ignored the list at first, thinking they were Duplo sets. Then I saw the piece counts

Nice to see more sets, even though there likely won‘t be any new characters from the sounds of it. The dinosaur theme does sound intriguing though :snicker:

Also, another (sub)theme that traditionally had a March wave and now gets a January wave instead. Between Marvel, DC, Star Wars, Harry Potter, Sonic, Mario, Animal Crossing, and Minecraft, January is now gonna be PACKED! And then all the unlicensed themes on top of that!

Never really cared for the 4+ Spidey and his Amazing Friends sets due to how childish they looked but I have to admit these dinosaur sets sound like they could be fun.

According to StoneWars, the X-Mansion will have a layout comparable to the Natural History Museum and fit in with the modulars (like the Sanctum or Avengers Tower). But the Museum had more than 4000 pieces. The Mansion will only have just above 3000, and that includes the sentinel. How does that fit together? Do you expect the Mansion to be closed on all sides like a modular building or open-backed?

I’m guessing the X-Mansion includes more large pieces than the History Museum. Keep in mind, the Mansion is going to be $30 more than the Museum despite having 1000 less pieces. Part of that will be licensing and additional and exclusive minifigures of course. But when we see sets of similar price with differing piece counts, usually the one with the lower piece count has larger pieces.

Granted, there are exceptions, and I’m sure everyone here can point out Lego Marvel sets where the price per piece ratio is unjustified. But I can hope.

Meanwhile I’m over here dreaming of the Red Hulk vs Captain America set this December… oh, and then the Fantastic Four have been confirmed to be coming in 2025… :D

Y’know, I guess I had always thought of the X-Mansion as an open-backed building, but, yeah, it does need to be closed off on all sides to fit with the rest of the modular buildings. Maybe it’ll have a hinged opening to the back?

Let’s also never forget that the Sanctum was $250, a clear $20-$30 above what is now the normal price for a modular. (It was also for a short period $50 more expensive than some modulars!)

The Museum, along with the rest of the modular buildings, also usually use more intricate and complicated techniques than your average D2C. Each unlicensed modular building is a work of the art by the designer, while these licensed buildings are trying to recreate an already existing design—while looking beautiful nonetheless—and thus likely use less smaller bricks for detailing and more generic construction.

So basically, it’s possible that the Museum has more finer details than the X-Mansion, thus inflating the count of former over the latter.

If Stonewars have seen it, that only increases my expectations of a proper leak within the next week

That’s a fair point. The X-Mansion doesn’t have the intricate architecture that the Museum does. Which means they don’t need as many small pieces.

X-Mansion-from-X-Men-97.jpg?resize=1024,

And just to add to that, the museum has a bunch of display pieces like the dinosaur and solar system etc that use a bunch of small pieces. I don’t know what rooms will be in the Mansion, but the five main contenders (IMO) are the Danger Room, the War Room, Cerebro, Xavier’s Office, and Beast’s lab/medical room. The Danger Room is a big empty room that needs like a blaster and a chainsaw on a mechanical arm. The War Room needs a table, chairs, and a monitor. Xavier’s office needs a desk, chair, picture, and bookcase. Beast’s Lab needs an examination table and a microscope. And Cerebro needs a stand. We’re talking about mostly big, empty rooms.

I actually hope the rooms are full of details and Easter eggs

At the very least, we need that picture of Scott and Jean that Wolverine is so fond of.

Considering they referenced the 60’s Spidey meme in the Daily Bugle, this is very likely! :sweet:

The reveal will be kinda weird since it‘ll be the last of the survey leak sets. Probably ever, even. After all, I can‘t imagine them making such a colossal blunder again. With a survey I mean, there will undoubtedly be other blunders :snicker: In a way, that‘s a good thing. As much as I enjoyed that leak (after my initial denial), the wait for some of these sets was excruciating.

We need a “Boom. Are you looking for this?” Diorama first. (We’ve already got America’s A** in the tower)

If they ever do Malibu Mansion as a modular, we definitely need a “Next time baby” reference and two different Rhodeys in the set.

Cerebro is in the War Room in the show. So that's another room you can take out.

Iceman isn’t in the show either, so I think it’s fair to assume they might deviate from the show in other ways. If we’re talking about rooms that could hypothetically be included, Cerebro belongs on that list. It’s arguably the second most ironic room in the Mansion (right behind the Danger room), if not the first.

I want them to include both that and the photo from that one meme where the picture he's holding is just his face from the frame where he's holding said picture.

If you mean the big Cerebro spherical chamber from the movies, that was an invention purely for the movies. The comics in the 90s and before that kept Cerebro as just a computer machine with a helmet. Iceman at least exists in the 90s show continuity so it makes sense to include him but the movie Cerebro chamber would seem really out of place in this particular X-Mansion. I personally don't see them going that route but that's my take.

I can see Wolverine's room being included so that scene can be reenacted.

Sure, the globe design for Cerebro wasn’t a thing until the movies. But that design stuck. And it’s indisputably one of the most iconic rooms in the Mansion. Would including it be accurate to the show? No. But the designers have already taken liberties with the figure lineup. I’m not saying they’ll do it again, only that I don’t think we can rule it out just yet.

Insiders say that Tom Hardy's Venom will be in Spider-Man 4 to team up to fight Knull, this sounds very true since Venom 3 had reshoots in New York and Tom Holland was seen doing things so in 2026 we can finally get a Tom Hardy Venom and Knull figure, say goodbye to that horrible venom that we've been getting for years now, I hope it's a big fig but a regular fig will do

Never would I have thought we'd get him but here we are, sadly the Kingpin and Daredevil storyline for Spider-Man 4 has been pushed back to probably a future movie so we'll have to wait a while to get them but I'm so happy to get Tom Hardy's Venom, I know not everyone likes the Venom movies but they're fun and I really like that look for Venom.

Spider Symbol for Venom and he'd be complete

I don't think they have. They admit to getting most of their info from @Brick Clicker and basically repeat a bunch of rumours. But the one about the Mansion fitting in with the modulars was new to me, so I've been wondering.

27 minuti fa, brickbride ha detto:

Ma quello sulla Mansion che si adattava ai modulari era nuovo per me, quindi me lo stavo chiedendo.

This is because it appears to have the connection pins in the leaked image (an image that stonewars strangely does not reference)

When can we expect images then? I just hope their is multiple rooms, they do't have to be huge but a small dorm room, professor X office, classroom, storms attic etc.

Official images should be released sometime next month, 15th at the latest. Unofficial images have already leaked, but the quality has been so bad that you can’t make out much of anything. Better quality leaks could drop anytime within the next month, but they probably won’t show us what rooms are inside the mansion.

Please bear in mind that while some people like to follow along with leaks and rumours, others very much don't and like to find out what's in the film through promotional material only or even just by watching the film.

A simple "maybe we could get a better Venom figure around the time of the next Spiderman film" would suffice.

-Spider-man 4 Insider info snip-

There's a high chance that this is a misleading attempt by Sony to imply importance to Venom 3. E.g. hyping up the movie by teasing Knull despite never intending to deliver. The exact same way Venom 2 hyped up the idea of him entering the MCU only for him to have no role other than a post-credit of Spider-man: NWH.

With that said, I still would like a black suited Spider-man and perhaps such a plot would set that up for Secret Wars/Spider-man 5.

Also can someone tell me if we’re expecting the Cyclops minifigure to have leg printing and more importantly yellow hip joint or whatever it’s called.

This time I'm sure it won't be, there's lots of evidence and insiders have confirmed, it only makes sense for Venom to meet Spidey one day

Printed legs I think
