All this talk about the F4, and the X-mansion is really making me want Lego to balance out their offerings with more of these non-MCU Avengers sets.

It’s the design for the character featured in xmen TAS and in the ‘97 prelude comic. Which definitely makes it seem like she could appear in a future set

Ok thanks for clarifying. Never seen this design for Dazzler before myself. Weird choice of the character for that special though.

My mistake, I forgot: if we can’t see Sue’s leg printing, it’s because she’s using her invisibility powers on it. *taps head*

Can’t wait for her to have the Jyn Erso head.

Can’t wait for one of the Fantastic Four to be left out of the Galactus set and only available in a $350 Baxter Building.

For the most part, the X-Mansion looks pretty sweet and I’ll definitely be picking this up as my gift card and Insiders points will shave a nice £105 off anyway. Some of the rooms do seem a little too cramped and Cerebro is laughable though.

My critiques of the minifigures are the same as the rest of you so nothing more to add there, it just goes to show that shortcuts are always expected with a Lego Superheroes budget and there’s no point expecting any less.

The Civil War set looks a bit too messy and incoherent to achieve the effect it was going for so definitely a pass for me, and the buildable logo definitely looks like a Marvel logo (which is pretty cool in terms of building techniques at least). The logo would’ve been much cooler if the minifigures were bursting out from the front of it on those clear stand pieces though.

I really hope the Spider-Verse set is good and worth the wait. A location build is always welcome, but with this theme’s penchant for vehicles I’m surprised Prowler’s motorcycle from the first film was never made.

The $55 Brave New World set is supposed to come with a Red Hulk bigfig in addition to three new minifigures, so I could see it happening. Theoretically, too, they could reuse torso and leg printing for Reed and Sue if they have the same suit and no powers applied (invisibility or stretchiness). Same with Johnny, but I think I might prefer him fired-up.

Although I doubt we'll see leg printing, if it's the comic versions of the FF, the Oswald legs can easily be reused to give the FF team boots. Torso printing could be reused for Reed and Johnny (assuming Johnny isn't in flame on mode) but Sue would have a feminine torso.

My guess is they wanted the X-Men characters to all synergize with the 90s theme for the show and sets, so they picked Dazzler in her 90s costume as well. It's possible they have a minifigure in design for her in a future X-Men set or CMF series, but I personally doubt it. I'm not expecting to see her as a physical minifigure anytime soon, if ever.

Ever since I first saw the prototype Hulk big fig from the SDCC 2011 pics I knew that Ben was going to get the same treatment whenever the day would come where Lego would make an FF set. I know that Ben in the comics is usually slightly smaller than the Hulk, but Lego doesn't really have a middle ground between a minifig and a big fig, so a big fig is really the only option here. I'm usually skeptical about these movie exclusive characters showing up in sets too (looking at you Omega Red and classic Thor), but I've been a lot more hopeful after the leakers mentioned the Galactus set having a very high chance of being comic based. And personally, after seeing Ben in the trailer, that assumption just gained a lot more credibility so my fingers will be double crossed here.

Ben is only slightly smaller than the Hulk in the comics so it wouldn't be that obvious just from looking at them. In most comics, they look more or less the same size. It would be really jarring to have a bigfig Hulk with a minifigure Thing if you're trying to reenact their fights.

The leakers mentioning that the Galactus set is comic-based is also why I think there's more to this Thing representation in the movie than the usual exclusive characters who show up.

As for Omega Red, he'd be a good choice for a future Wolverine set. He's showing up in the Insomniac Wolverine video game as well so if we ever did get sets for that game (although I doubt that would happen), it would be a good place for Omega Red to be included.

Wow, never thought I'd see the day where we'd be getting X-Men sets and Fantastic Four sets!  Beyond excited for these iconic characters and locations to debut after 12 years of this line, and 11 years after their prominent feature in LEGO Marvel Superheroes videogame.

Voting with my wallet, for sure.

Agreed. This is exactly how I feel about this set.

D-man being the main character gives me a LITTLE hope he'll show up physically at some point- we'll see.

He's going to be the book minifigure, no?

The book dedicated to Spiderman? Sure, it will definitely be him

And Terrax? Would he come in the Galactus set as well?

If a lego Terrax bigfig comes out next year I'll eat the minifigure* and upload it to youtube.

*I cannot chew an ABS plastic bigfig, but I am confident enough that we won't see a Terrax bigfig that I stand by this. At the very least, if it somehow does happen I will make a food item in the likeness of Terrax and/or do my best at eating the figure.

I hope he shows up somehow, but I don't know. They have a habit of having figs, even ones with actual roles, not be in sets. I don't know that the literal main character has ever not had a physical figure before, but we'll see.

Sentinel is rumored for next summer with 4 minifigures (two unknown, Gambit, and Wolverine).

Glad we're getting something for the X-Men next year. Hopefully the two unknown minifigures will be new characters rather than repeats.

I do wonder if there will be any characters that will remain exclusive to the X-Mansion?

Really hoping for more characters rather than just them recycling the recently released ones.

I agree 100%. The gray pieces are ugly, the "bursting out" effect doesn't really work when they burst out above the logo. And the worst thing? No Clint! Honestly, with that figure selection there is no excuse at all for leaving him out. He's a founding member of the Avengers just like the rest of them.

At most, I think we'll get one new character. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to get two, but the X-Jet only had one "unique" characters with Magneto (unique printing , at least).

I imagine they'll want to have at least one gal in there - I'll guess either a repeat Jean, or a new Jubilee (Rogue was already in the X-Jet and Storm was in the CMF). The fourth character is a lot more open - Morph could be a good pick, since he wouldn't be too hard to make and could be a subtle nod to Pride Month, if it releases in the summer. Still, I'm excited for the possibilities!

I imagine at least some of them will stay exclusive - or, at the very least, their specific designs. I could see Iceman and Bishop at the very least staying exclusive, since they're a lot more niche.

To be fair Cyclops and Rogue were also new figures at the time of the X-Jet's release. Its taken close to a year for them to be reused in another set.

Nightcrawler and Jubilee are my top choices for the Sentinel (unless there's another Marvel CMF in the pipeline). Sinister and Bastian would also be good options so we can finally get more villains. I'd like to see Morph released eventually but he's easily my least anticipated character from the show.

With all the excitement around the X-men, they just have to keep including Wolverine. There’s enough excitement for a set to sell even without him. I know he’s the most well known. But they should just save him for a Wolverine vs Sabertooth set.

Two years from now, Professor Lex is the only minifigure “exclusive” to the mansion….

The account that posted this news (@yalllegoname4myself) is extremely recent, so take the information with a grain of salt. Also, they did not list a set number for this Sentinel. However, they also said that Thunderbolts* will not be getting any sets, and that the Marvel summer set list is 75317, 75318, 75319, 75320, 75321, 75322, 75324, 75325, and 75326.

Ahh I see, I noticed this account last night but it still didn't talk about the sentinel... I don't know, there are too many fake news, it's impossible to trust anymore...

Yeah, I‘m not gonna trust a leaker without a track record  It sounds plausible, but unless someone else corroborates that info, I‘m gonna treat it as speculation

It's a shame to have to defend ourselves from the stupidity of some people in a context of entertainment like this... well, regardless of the rumors, after the leviathan of the Avengers Tower we knew that the option was on the table, and honestly it would be stupid for Lego to tie the sentinel to a very expensive set, when many of us would be happy to buy multiple copies

As for the minifigures, I wouldn't get my hopes up, I think a brand new character is the best we can hope for (the leviathan teaches us that it can be even worse)
