Yeah, I‘m not gonna trust a leaker without a track record  It sounds plausible, but unless someone else corroborates that info, I‘m gonna treat it as speculation

He’s gotten likes from MTDbricks and TheBrickReporter for some of his other leaks which is the only reason I’m posting it here. Nothing he’s saying is all that outrageous, but obviously take it with a grain of salt.

As for the minifigures, I wouldn't get my hopes up, I think a brand new character is the best we can hope for (the leviathan teaches us that it can be even worse)

Who else could they have included with the Leviathan that hasn't been done before? Lego has covered all the major players from the first Avengers film that its impossible to avoid repeats going forward now.

Undamaged Mark VI. Technically was done before, but it’s been a decade.

Not that they were in any scenes with a leviathan but I wouldn’t mind Hill and Coulson appearing in an Avengers set.

If Lego were to be lazy, they could release a Sentinel vs Wolverine set! LOL

They could do a Sentinel minifig inside a Mech, with a reused Wolverine. LOL

Not sure I’d buy it though.

A guy on Insta teased a mastermold set with Wolverine with his claws charged by Gambit's energy. It was clearly a fake but the idea is not bad... at least we would have a small variation. I continue to wait for the introduction of some new villain, because we really need it! They included Iceman for no reason, they could do the same with Sabretooth and Mystique... or stay with x-men 97 and do Mister Sinister and Bastion... well at this point anything is fine

As for the leviathan, does anyone really think that there are no new minifigures because there were no usable characters?? lol

Yeah, every single main and supporting character from the first Avengers film has been produced in LEGO form.  Even those with a a couple of scenes, like Pepper or Coulson.

I hope we get a Hulk vs Wolverine set somewhere down the line. Even if it is something stupid like Hulk’s Monster Truck vs Wolverine’s motorcycle, just so long as we get a new comic Hulk using the new bigfig mold.

I would unironically buy a set with a Sentinel minifig, and reuse it as Charlie the Robot from Scooby-Doo. It's not the exact right color scheme, but it would work.

Apparently the solo Construction figure sets (Like those Ant-Man, Captain America, etc ones) are gonna die after next year according to that Sentinel set guy.

Even though it’s best to take it with a grain of salt, I can already hear the cheering in this forum.

If anything, that makes me even more wary of the Sentinel leak. Are we just being told things we want to hear and swallowing the bait? In either case, that's not much of a scoop, seeing now the retirement sheet on the Lego leaks subreddit already has most of them retiring at the end of this year, wit the last one retiring at the end of 2025.

Yeah, there’s not much this scooper is saying that isn’t either already known or very likely.

Professor Lex

His championing of the mutant cause is somewhat hamstrung by the fact that he constantly tries to malign superman.

If what he's told me is true, he will have gained my trust.

What has he told you, brother?

Apologies- he hasn't told me specifically anything. I'm paraphrasing Revenge of the Sith.

Sentinel is rumored for next summer with 4 minifigures (two unknown, Gambit, and Wolverine).

IMO it is too early to know summer/2HY sets, so I am not going to get my hopes up. Also, a Sentinel set makes sense, so it is a reasonable guess, and Wolverine (due to his always appearing in X-Men sets!) and Gambit (due to his recent popularity boost) are safe picks as well. One thing that makes me suspicious is that this set allegedly will have four Minifigs (a bit much for Marvel), and only two of them are identified? Is the leaker looking at a really blurry image and can somehow only make out Wolverine and Gambit (but not, for instance, Cyclops or Jean), or are they relying on a name/description of the set, in which case why are two of the Minifigs know to be included but not identified? The only way that this makes sense is if the set is called "Wolverine and Gambit vs. Master Mold and the Sentinels", and the two unidentified Minifigs are Sentinels (to scale with MM).

This is my concern as well.

I imagine they'll want to have at least one gal in there - I'll guess either a repeat Jean, or a new Jubilee (Rogue was already in the X-Jet and Storm was in the CMF). The fourth character is a lot more open - Morph could be a good pick, since he wouldn't be too hard to make and could be a subtle nod to Pride Month, if it releases in the summer. Still, I'm excited for the possibilities!

If this set is real, I hope they pass on Jubilee. A regular set won't do her justice. We'll have another Rogue situation (or Gambit or Cyclops or Xavier or Magneto for that matter) where the minifigure doesn't do the character justice. Jubilee especially will need the extra budget from the CMF series.

For this same reason, I say no to Morph because we'll get the same basic legs Cyclops gets if Morph is made outside of a CMF series.

Yeah, until it's replaced with another sub-theme no one wants, I wonder what it will be, Superhero version of Ninjago spinners ?

Now get rid of Mechs and 4+ sets PLEASE

I don't normally say this, but with the superhero themes- if it has minifigures... yeah, it'd be better.

AND NO MORE MONSTER TRUCKS

20$ for 2 repeated figures and 2 spinners, are you sure you want that ?

It’s better than $32 for this:

I feel like, rather if you love or hate them, the mechs are here to stay. Apparently they sell well with the kids.

They seem like the Superhero equivalent of battle packs for Star Wars.

Battle Packs do well because of all the adults buying 20 or more

Did we even have enough of them yet to warrant a protest slogan? :laugh_hard: The only Marvel ones I can think of are the Hulk vs Red Hulk set (if those vehicles even count) and that Mysterio set (also not sure if that one counts). And maybe the vehicle from the venomised T-Rex set.

The 2025 set will be the first unambiguous monster truck :snicker: But I get your point, even just one is one too many, eh?

Completely agree on the mechs, but absolutely no chance the 4+ sets ever go. Kids love them and it’s a great introduction to Lego for them.

Plus occasionally you get a chance to pinch a decent Rhino minifig from them when the kid isn’t looking!
