Legocentrico Posted September 3, 2024 Posted September 3, 2024 Do you think Red Hulk will get a new hair piece or will they recycle Hulk's?

LegendaryArticuno Posted September 4, 2024 Posted September 4, 2024 The older Hulk bigfigs looks a lot better than the newest ones. Best Hulk fig has to be the Infinity War one.

calebcold3 Posted September 5, 2024 Posted September 5, 2024 (edited) Apparently, word on the street is that Blade and Armor Wars will have their fates decided soon on if they are to move forward or be cancelled. Blade has had many MANY production troubles and we haven't heard a thing about Armor Wars in like 2-3 years, so It's not surprising at all that they are likely to be cancelled, especially given Marvel's very rocky years post-Endgame. Obviously, MCU Blade was never getting sets as Marvel was wanting to make the film R Rated, but Armor Wars I honestly feel like one of the only reasons that was greenlit was because not only was it during Marvel's "WE CAN POOP OUT ANYTHING MCU AND PEOPLE WILL WATCH" days, but just so they could sell toys, which would be bad news for LEGO, as LEGO's goal is to *GASP* sell toys. So with those two movies likely on the chopping block, I think the slate from 2026 to 2027 will be: 2026: Doomsday, Spider-Man 4, Shang Chi 2 2027: Secret Wars, X-Men So I think all the MCU movies from next year to 2027 all will/have a shot at getting sets/at least one set. LegendaryArticuno Posted September 6, 2024 Posted September 6, 2024 (edited) Got my Zelda preorder today... thinking of returning it for further credit to go towards Avenger's Tower instead. Lol someone convince me otherwise XD, is Avenger's Tower an overrated set? Edited September 6, 2024 by LegendaryArticuno

Lol someone convince me otherwise XD, is Avenger's Tower an overrated set? If you are a big MCU fan it is a must have. There are a ton of Easter eggs included in the set, a bunch of great minifigs, and it is an awesome display piece. My recommendation is to keep the Great Deku Tree and display it next to your Avenger's Tower.

Lol someone convince me otherwise XD, is Avenger's Tower an overrated set? Well Lego and Marvel have been partners for 12 years in a row now but the Deku tree is their only collaboration with Zelda so far. So I think another Avengers tower will come eventually but another Deku tree is less likely. The AT is a great set though.

Lol someone convince me otherwise XD, is Avenger's Tower an overrated set? Obviously this thread is going to be biased... but I will say that the tower is the only set I've ever spent that kind of money on, and it didn't disappoint. It's the crown jewel of my lego collection. I was really worried I would be disappointed by the build or by the display, but it is without question FAR better in person than pictures do it justice. The thing just doesn't appear as massive in pictures as it truly is in person. That said, I also have strong feelings about sending Lego/Nintendo a message about the Zelda set. I'd kill for those figs but that price is extortion. I would normally hope that they re-release those figs in more reasonably priced sets, but any attempt to fix it at this point is going to spit in the face of the people who bought it already.

So? Everyone who bought the Deku Tree for 300€ (!!!) must have a very high pain threshold, so spitting in their face again (first time was made bei TLG with this outragous price) can`t be that big of a problem... (Don`t get me wrong: I want the Deku Tree sooo badly!) Still on the fence whether I buy the Lego Avengers Tower; most of the minifigs aren`t that appealing and 450€ (at smyths) isn`t that good of an offer...

Avenger's Tower has a lot less space to pose minifigs, while you can fill up the entire front facade of the Daily Bugle with minifigs.

Everyone wins.
