Does it bother anyone else that Gambit (who can’t fly) is floating above the mansion while Rogue (who can fly) is just standing there on the ground?

Looking closely at the new pic and the right hand side looks off to me, especially when compared to the original blurry leak. I think it may be a photoshop job where someone has replicated the colours from the previous image across the whole set. 
 

in fact you can see the join where a right hand photoshop has been joined to the previous image which showed the left hand side only.

infatti puoi vedere il join in cui una mano destra photoshop è stata unita all'immagine precedente che mostrava solo il lato sinistro.

You are right! The colors are indeed different but above all Jean and Bishop are missing. So we also explained why there is no Magneto

Apparently the new leak is just the old ones edited together for clarity, so it’s not technically a new image of the box. 
 

Maybe the real X-mansion leak was the friends we made along the way.

When he found out she was cheating on him with a homocidal octogenarian, his second mutant ability, literally just rogue's, activated and he took Carol's powers from her.

That explains it. I knew it was a fake but I assumed the blue blob was one of the real parts.

As for Galactus, I won't get too excited for now but I don't want a female Silver Surfer or any of the particularities in the faces or suit designs of the F4 that may make them distinctly MCU based. I'll be very transparent in saying that I wish to see comic based variants over MCU variants even if the MCU is super darn close. Remember how Got 3 was basically comic based? Little things like Mantis not being green, and Drax not being green with swirls on his shoulders would have made the difference between me actually picking those sets up. So fingers crossed.

I also don't want the GWP to be a Sentinel because I think they should have a set of just 1 Sentinel you can army build. 

Same here. I used to collect a lot of minimates but it was rather expensive to keep up (although Lego's even more expensive). Honestly, it feels like most of the X-Men characters need a CMF series to get the full attention they deserve. Rogue comes to mind as someone whose minifigure is horrifically bad with a set's basic budget. I would not like to see Phoenix get the Rogue treatment.

I'm assuming the emphasis to keep Iceman white rather than light blue was also because of a desire to have him match Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends since we know the Lego designers really wanted Spidey, Iceman, and Firestar to all exist as minifigs. If we ever get another minifig of Iceman in the future, I can see it being him in light blue as he's depicted today.

I'm with you completely on comic versions over MCU versions. Especially when it comes to that Silver Surfer abomination, if it turns out we get her minifig but not the real Surfer's after all this time. I can see how the GOTG3 set would have really annoyed you that it was so close to being comic accurate, minus the little details like Mantis' skin tone (although I always preferred her not being green since I prefer her from the Steve Engleheart Avengers comics) and Drax's patterns.

I don't think the X-Men set has a GWP. We would have known about it by now if there was one right? I also think a Sentinel would be better off as its own set but according to some rumors here, there might not be any X-Men sets in 2025. Not until Lego sees how well the X-Mansion sells. So we might have to take a rain check on that Sentinel set.

I am not crazy! I know Lego cancelled that Malibu Mansion! I knew it was set to release this April. 73617, one after Fantastic Four. As if I could ever make such a mistake. Never. Never! I just - I just couldn't prove it. They - they covered their tracks, they got those idiot at Lego Leaks Reddit to lie for them. You think this is something? You think this is bad? This? I don't think anyone knows about the summer wave. Tandnbricks simply claims that Lego will wait for the X-Mansion results to decide whether to make more X-Men sets. And those results will come too late to have any bearing on the 2025 lineup.

But that doesn't rule out that there are X-Men sets already planned for next summer (though that's not very likely).

At least that's how I read the leaker's words.

But then again, it's a 60€ set, so I can't imagine it having any less than four minifigures. Unless they want to include Silver Surfer, it's very likely all four F4 members will be included (the Thing probably as a minifigure tho).

To "properly convey the scale", the set will include minifig (with short legs) Thing, microfig Mr. Fantastic and Invisible Woman (putting the F4 members out of scale with eachother) and Human Torch represented as a trans-orange 1x1 cone.

They can always release a Wolverine Mech Mk.II as a stopgap.

One more week (hopefully). I feel like a kid at Christmas - I’ve been waiting for Gambit and Prof X since I first picked up the wolverine, deadpool and magneto set in 2012 which was what got be back into my Lego obsession.
