DaleCooperFBI Posted October 31, 2024 Posted October 31, 2024 Really hoping they include Ralph Boner, Lilia and Cousin Biscuits from Echo in the next CMF, some of my fave recent MCU characters.

I understand you like them but, these are characters that no one cares about or wants, imagine they were in the CMF, taking up slots when we could get the popular ones, Daredevil,Punisher,Kingpin,Bullseye,Spider-Man,Nightcrawler,Jubilee,Blade as Moon Knight

I mean blade as moon knight is weird one off what if character id rather get Ralph or Lilia over him (Especially if Ralph is in the Quicksilver outfit from the Halloween WandaVision episode). I mean we already have blade and moon knight on shelves Quicksilver had one Minifigure from 2015 before I'd even joined EB (I was a mere lurker then and now I'm a Duke ). I haven't seen Echo yet but I'm guessing that he's just a civilian? And I'd only really want Lilia and Ralph is their less generic outfits. Edited October 31, 2024 by Agent Kallus

That look ahead video does not give me a ton of hope for anything but Daredevil. I'd be OK if they skipped pretty much everything in that video lego-wise TBH, not really a fan of any of the designs from the stuff that could get sets. Spider-man especially- I know it's not MCU adjacent or whatever anymore but how do you go from the homemade suit in homecoming to that? (Oh, I also would want the captain america jaeger from What IF S3. IIRC it's Sam as Cap in that one so I wouldn't mind if it had giant falcon wings either.) Lokyndra Posted October 31, 2024 Posted October 31, 2024 Hey guys someone know when the X-men Mansion will be online ?

Coryo Posted November 1, 2024 Posted November 1, 2024 HD pics of some of the new sets are up on the Australian Lego Store site, the new Red Hulk could easily work for both the movie and comic versions Spoiler $90 AUD for this 5 hours ago, Lego Nostalgia said: Daredevil,Punisher,Kingpin,Bullseye,Spider-Man,Nightcrawler,Jubilee,Blade as Moon Knight I wouldn't expect anything from the Daredevil series or Marvel Zombies since they're both TV-MA. The best chance of getting Daredevil would be if he has a decent sized role in a PG-13 show or movie. Towards the end of that sizzle reel video, Kingpin is wearing a suit that's damn near identical to the Mr. Knight CMF though, might be worth picking one up if you wanted to throw together a purist custom fig.
psqidexslizer Posted November 1, 2024 Posted November 1, 2024 Red Hulk looks great. I’ll try and Bricklink him. I hope we eventually get a comic Hulk using the new mold.
Mandalorianknight Posted November 1, 2024 Posted November 1, 2024 Very excited to pick this set up at heavy discount, or at the very least bricklink Sabra and Captain Falcon. (I'm sure President I-didn't-grow-a-mustache Ford won't be less than $20-25 no matter what happens to this set discount wise and I honestly just don't care about rulk that much)
Lego Nostalgia Posted November 1, 2024 Posted November 1, 2024 Can't wait for The Incredible Hawk-Tuah, coming 2027, first one in 2008 wasn't that bad

In the Netherlands it said 4 november :-/ i guess i’ll have to check the website again later on I cannot speak to other countries, but in the U.S., it’s widely available starting on the fourth, but available to LEGO Insiders starting on the first. I don’t see why it would be different elsewhere. The minifigure-scale Captain America set is definitely a mixed bag. The build itself looks like a $20 build, not a $55 dollar build. Even the grey stand for Ahsoka seems more substantial. The minifigures and big-fig are, of course, the main draw, and they are better than I expected. Red Hulk looks good, as does Torres. I’m pleasantly surprised that Sam gets dual-molded legs, and I like the helmet printing. Hopefully he has a double-sided head. The minifigure for Ruth is better than I had anticipated, not only getting a new torso and (albeit reused) printed legs, but she also gets a new head! This set technically gets nine new prints, not counting the dual-molded legs, which is really cool. The price is less cool. The buildable Captain America figure looks decent. The buildable figures are not really my thing, but I am disappointed to see that the wings are fabric and not brick-built. Edited November 1, 2024 by Rwbricks
benderisgreat Posted November 1, 2024 Posted November 1, 2024 Hd pics of Cap 4 set are out! The build is meh as expected, but it's ridiculously overpriced for less than 300 pieces! Red Hulk looks good as does Cap with dual moulded legs. Falcon is kinda disappointing hope he has Torres face without flight helmet prints. Not sure how Lego decided to price this set 55$, it's worth waiting for sale on this one.
BrickBob Studpants Posted November 1, 2024 Posted November 1, 2024 Oh look! A new female faceprint in a Marvel set! Can‘t wait to see it used for 6 different characters in the same theme soon Cynicism aside, the minifigs look great, and I‘m glad Sam has a different appearance, distinct from the CMF version! Especially the nicely printed helmet I prefer Red Hulk over the comic version from 7 years ago as well!
poisonbricks Posted November 1, 2024 Posted November 1, 2024 Red Hulk looks pretty great, even as a bigfig hater I like this newer mold SIGNIFICANTLY more and it's great to see them really running with it - I think the only way they could elevate these even more is to try dual sided heads for characters with hairpieces - imagine a Red Hulk expression with flaming eyes! But that's not saying I think they SHOULD'VE done it here necessarily, this is still great Sam looks good! Dual molded legs help the figure a lot. The helmet doesn't scream 'Captain America' to me, but it's a very cool part, and that's more a suit design criticism than a LEGO one I do wish Torres got dual molded or printed legs, the plain reddish brown make his suit feel more boring than it actually is Shame there's only three figures in this set, and definitely no fourth character. There was so much potential too! The Leader, Diamondback or really number of the Serpent Society (apparently a fair few survived their roles being cut down) - can you imagine getting a Giancarlo Esposito likeness here haha The build is just confusing to me. As far as I can tell it's a more sci-fi-ified(?) version of the fighter jets from the dogfight in the trailers. And I get LEGO won't do military stuff, I really do, but surely there's something else in the whole film that would've worked as a set. Or just, y'know, make it a cool build, even if it's not gonna be accurate.
Classic_Spaceman Posted November 1, 2024 Posted November 1, 2024 (edited) That jet looks no less weird in HD pics, and Sam and Torres unfortunately have brickbuilt wings (with stickers!). 😕 I do like that we get helmet printing for Sam, though the lack of an alternate head and hair for him is disappointing (considering that there are a number of scenes in the trailer where Sam is just wearing his goggles); Torres’s head is decent, though the inclusion of a visor piece is odd since the head also has a visor printed on. Ironically, these pics drop the day after I bought those exact dual-moulded legs from PAB (because I was sure that LEGO would give Sam plain ones!), but good to see nonetheless; Torres needs printed legs, however, since the plain ones make his suit look less armoured than it really is. Red Hulk is obviously the star of the set, and he looks great (as expected)! Ruth 100% is based on concept art (she just wears a leather jacket in the trailer), and she may originally have had powers in the movie (as the back of the box shows her flying); that said, her torso is pleasantly inaccurate to Sabra’s comics design, and generic enough to be reused for someone else (I am thinking of putting this torso onto Black Widow’s legs for Mockingbird!). 2 hours ago, BrickBob Studpants said: Oh look! Leader and/or Diamondback absolutely should have been included, though they would require more new elements. Ideally, we would have gotten two sets for CA:BNW - Sam (helmet) and Torres vs. Red Hulk and Diamondback, and Sam (goggles) vs. Leader and Sidewinder. Unfortunately, while I doubt that BNW will underperform to the degree of The Marvels (which was hit by review-bombing and lack of publicity due to ongoing strikes (IMO Marvel should have just delayed the movie!), in addition to the overall quality), I doubt that it will be enough of a hit to get a follow-up set in 2HY 2026 (the earliest that we can expect one); our best chance for the Leader is Marvel CMF S3, though even that is not a guarantee with S1/S2 being focused on the D+ shows. 🫤 Edited November 1, 2024 by Classic_Spaceman

This would only make sense if the design tream initially used a generic faceprint and swapped it when they saw the new one Ah, good point! It is unlikely that the designers switched her head, since that change would need to be reflected on the box art and instructions (and if LEGO were making changes to those, they could have just swapped her for someone else), and because the new head looks less like Ruth in the movie than other heads that are already in production do. Also, if LEGO did not replace Namor’s head with an accurate one in the BP:WF sets, I doubt that they would do so for a much less significant character! I wonder how far back LEGO designed the set/what materials they had to work with, since the head looks more like comics Sabra than MCU Ruth IMO. 🫤
Legocentrico Posted November 1, 2024 Posted November 1, 2024 A second head could still be present but not advertised on the box, like No way home. Anyway we have 50 sams with glasses and hair and I have no intention of complaining the first time we get a variant (moreover justified). Rather I am saddened that we did not get a new printed helmet! Red Hulk is wonderful, I would have liked something more characterized but I am happy, it is beautiful. The jet is ugly but it is too particular to be a generic vehicle, I bet it is not random and in the film there will be something similar (or maybe there was something similar in the concept-art)
